Perfect for summer!

This place just opened, we found it by luck and I'm SO glad we did!! Ana's Nails was full of talented employees and deserve all the new customers in the world. I originally brought in a decal for two of my nails and Ana said she could do a better job designing it herself... and she delivered!!! I'm so, so happy with the outcome. They can do whatever design you have in mind and their prices are great. I will definitely be returning and you should check these guys out for your next nail visit! *Note, these pics were taken a week or two after I got my nails done.

Ana did amazing! Best manicure I have ever had they came out perfect and better than the inspo pic

Can I just start by saying I walked in with broken and chipped short nails and was expecting to get a mid manicure because it was my first time there too. But no, idk what Ana did but my nails look so fresh plus I was in and out in like 45 minutes. Ana just kept saying trust the process, and she was right, cause I trusted the process and it was amazing!! Just wow, will be going back for sure.

I'm writing this review after a terrible experience. Yesterday (March 8th) I came to get a soak off and new application for acrylic nails. Upon getting started my nails were clipped off and pulled off with pliers. Even after expressing discomfort it continued. I was expecting a soak off considering the 10$ charge and not my nails to be painfully taken off. The entire time of my session the person doing my nails was fine. Everyone was respectful and it was a quiet salon. But the person doing my nails seemed to be in a rush and in my opinion did a sloppy job. I could not immediately tell this so after completing my set I paid my total of 90$ cash. Once getting home my nails started hurting and it only continued to get worse. They burned itched and ached. It felt too tight and there was polish on my skin. The color applied bubbled and was splotchy. The nail's themselves were also uneven. Today (March 9th) as soon as they opened I came back and stated all my issues above and asked if I could receive a refund if I removed my nails to which she agreed. Once again my nails were attempted to be ripped off even though I just got them put on. After that obviously wouldn't work my nails were filed down and I received a cut on my pinky. After soaking and filing I think it was very unfair to initially take my nails off in that way when soak off was what I requested and was an option. This makes the nail removal 10$ price point even more unfair. After the removal I asked for a refund where multiple employees told me they don't do refunds. I stated that I asked if I removed my nails if I would get a refund and was told yes they just kept responding she said no. She stated she would have fixed them but I ask you, why would I get them done again? Instead of the person coming to talk to me themselves and not others who had no knowledge of the issue I went over to speak with her. I apologize to any customers who had to witness that interaction it was so unnecessary and unprofessional. I calmly stated I was told I'd get a refund if I took my nails off but she kept insisting I took my nails off because they hurt so she's not giving me one. I kept repeating that them hurting was far from the only reason I took them off and that I asked first if I'd get a refund to which I was told yes but they didn't want to admit their wrong doings and kept saying I should have redid them. I'm not here to bash this business. Form your own opinion but I didn't appreciate how I was treated. I think the person was named Dianne (if the name tags are accurate). I just hope the owner sees this and can rectify the situation. I will gladly remove my review if I got my 90$ back. I'm not going to call this place a chop shop but I have been to a lot in my life and this place still has some same of the same practices and overall could be cleaner.

This is by far the best nail salon i've ever been too! I came in today with 3 broken nails and in desperate need of a fill. Anna sat me down and we talked about what was the best route to go for me with what i wanted and we decided to start fresh with a new set. Thats the biggest difference with this salon, they actually care about whats best for you! I will never go anywhere else!!

I had a few hours to kill while my son was in karate class and my regular salon was too far away…read more I looked for a salon with good reviews and this one looked like a good bet. I immediately like the fun, modern vibe here. The staff was jamming to the music. They were friendly and prompt. I like the clearly labeled books for gel nails, its much easier to make a selection than the nail rings most salons use. Henry did a great job on my nails. You could tell that he takes pride in his work. He checked for bubbles, offered to do a third coat and even walked me to my car with an umbrella. Thats really above and beyond customer service. $29 for shellac is a great deal.

5 Stars - A Hidden Gem in Farmington Hills!…read more I've been going to Pure Lux Nail and Spa for the past four months, and I've had a consistently wonderful experience. From my very first visit, I was impressed with the kind and professional service. Since then, I've been booking with Zack, and he is now my go-to nail tech! Zack is personable, gentle, and gives the best hand massages I've ever had. He's truly an artist. I recently chose the Cat Eye nail color, and he added a beautiful flower design on one nail of each hand--it really pops! The final look is stunning, with a glass-like shine and an incredible 3D effect. The atmosphere at Pure Lux is relaxing, clean, and welcoming. I always leave feeling pampered and confident. If you're looking for a quality nail salon with talented technicians, I highly recommend this place--and especially Zack!

My sister and I decided to get mani/pedicures on the spur of the moment late on a Saturday…read moreafternoon. Neither of us had had much luck finding a salon we like in the area, so we were looking for some place new. I remember reading about Nailsticks, and since it's very close to us, we decided to try it. When we walked in, the place was really crowded, and I didn't think they'd be able to take us. But, they did. We noticed that, unlike other salons, there was a lot of talking going on. The vibe here was really good -- all the technicians seemed happy and chatty. And, I'm not sure how P.C. it is to say this, but it was nice that we could understand them; at too many salons, the techs talk to each other in their native language and in hushed tones, and it just feels awkward. But here, they chatted with each other, they chatted with us, and they actually seemed to like what they were doing. We started with pedicures, and while that was being done, they also started working on our nails. I'd done a gel manicure myself at home, and I apparently put on way too many layers, so that even after soaking my nails in foil & acetone for a long time, it didn't come off. I apologized, but they just smiled and said not to worry about it. My sister was intrigued by powder manicures, so she got that. I wanted color-changing polish, so I got a shellac. The tech who did my nails (Mimi, maybe?) also wanted to see how the polishes changed colors, so she brought the samples & dishes of hot & cold water so we could see them change. Because of my over-zealous gel polishing adventure, it took a long time to get the old polish off of my nails. Consequently, we were the last customers in the shop. But not once did they make us feel uncomfortable or like we were in the way. Instead, they just finished cleaning the salon and chatted about their plans for later, while including us in the conversation. I was very pleased with how we were greeted and treated, and they also did a great job on our nails. I am sure that I will be back.

My first experience....I requested a basic pedicure to include gel polish and one nail…read morerepair...Sophia serviced me; very personable and friendly. The repair was perfect and from inside of the salon the polish looked perfect too; but once outside, the sunlight revealed too many flaws: the gel was lumpy and polish was visibly on the skin around most toes. Based on the cost of $65...$75 with tip...the service did not match the price. My cousin and I went together, her second time. Her first experience was great. Her second not so good. Friendly staff. Basic mani and pedi, with gel polish that was lumpy and poorly applied. There seemed to be some confusion in price between both services. Either way, too many disappointments to constitute a return visit. Again, the service does not match the price. The inflation and consistency in price for nail services, in general, seems to be getting out of hand, forcing a personal decision on whether it is worth it.

The staff is friendly, they don't pressure you in to spending any money, and you can tell that they want you to have a good experience! This time around, I got a pedicure and dip manicure. The pedicure was amazing, and the massage chairs that they have are really nice! The dip manicure was also fantastic. I didn't have access to my hands for the majority of the time, as they had to wrap my fingers in foil to remove my precious dip and tips, but I didn't mind! For a pedicure, dip/tip removal and dip manicure, I believe my total was around $75, which was very fairly priced! I would highly recommend LP!

I will have to say that when I did my manicure the woman made my bed of my nails visibly bleed. This was really concerning to me bc she was using the nail drill and she grabbed a paper towel and started wiping my blood off my nails and then the nail drill. My immediate thought was what if this happened to someone else and they had a bloodborne disease- it's just unsanitary and it's good to maybe use a lower setting or be careful with these tools. Of course this wasn't intentional and she apologized and I'm assuming they knew to fully clean the drill after they were done with me. But I did like the end result of my nails but just this bleeding scenario really freaked me out . Since my family likes coming here I might return someday and maybe give a better review but I don't know how soon that might be considering today
