I appreciated how easy Terri was to coordinate with - she even did a FaceTime with me before the session to give me some organization product ideas. Amy was our organizer on the day and she was lovely to work with. She helped us go through our master closet in a very nonjudgmental and straightforward way. She helped us donate almost 3 bags of items. We plan on working with Terri and her team again and would recommend for anyone to hire her for your organizing needs.

After I moved house, I had so many rent-a-crates to unpack and return very quickly. I felt overwhelmed and couldn't move two feet without hitting a box, and unpacking by myself was too slow. I contacted Terri again. Terri couldn't come out to personally help me within my limited window of time, but she has fantastic team members. Kammy came to help me, stayed for just under five hours, and we unpacked every rent-a-crate plus all of the cardboard boxes! There is a little left to do in order to make my new place feel like home, but Kammy's help means that 95% of the work is done. I am so pleased with The Chicago Organizer. Terri and Kammy are kind, professional, quite fair in their pandemic requirements, and most of all -- HELPFUL. Money well spent again!

I'm so glad I called in the pros instead of winging it myself. They walked through the space, asked smart questions about my cooking habits and daily routines, and came up with a layout that actually makes sense. Pots and pans exactly where I reach for them, a pantry system that keeps everything visible, drawers that don't turn into junk catch-alls. It's the kind of organization you don't realize you need until you have it. On top of the great work, they were easy to communicate with and respected my timeline. There was no way we could have unpacked and organized our kitchen and bathrooms over the next few weeks, which is what their team excelled to do in less than a day. It's our first time using this kind of service and Mackenzie, Chloe, Brittany, Mary and Melanie have officially spoiled us for all moves to come. Our home brings us so much joy now.

"The Container Store" is an organization freak's paradise! After I was done pregnant with my son,…read moreI have been doing my motherly duties, plus clearing the junk, cleaning, and reworking the house as my way of exercise. I have to admit that I'm just little bit OCD and this store hits the spot. One of the reasons why I don't visit the store as often as I want to is the price: stuff is generally on an expensive side. However, the quality of most items is solid and the presentation is quite nice. In other words, the entire venue is pretty fun to browse. I would say it's more helpful to know what needs to be done with your organization project, with a feasible plan and clear vision, so that when you are in the store you aren't going to over-spend on things you don't actually need. I like their Lego storage collection. My partner was intrigued by it and tempted to purchase some of the organization items for the Lego pieces. Once again, this organization project can be executed later as the kid grows older and is able to play the toys. Yes, the entire store can be overwhelming to some people. One useful tip is to browse other competition's websites and develop a game plan so that you can budget accordingly. If you are a visual person, I think making your way to a brick-and-mortar location makes everything easier. Like I mentioned previously, you can empty your wallet quickly in the store if you are not careful. You can sign up for their digital coupons that they send out every once in awhile. I have a few gadgets that are on my wishlist. I will come back here when I get a chance. By the way, free parking is available in their own lot. That's definitely a bonus when shopping in the city.

I called them because when I checked in it said "delayed", but I didn't know if that was what their system was saying because two of the items I ordered apparently weren't in stock. At this point I'd been waiting at least 20 minutes so I called back and cancelled the entire order. It was my own naïveté and hope that visiting the most convenient store (since we were in the Loop) might be ok this time. If you have to order from here just do it online.
