The selection was limited because these dolls sell out as soon as they get them. I was really lucky that Checkmate was one of the three I was looking for. And, I didn't pay the crazy fees other stores are asking. Don't get me wrong, she wasn't cheap by any means. But, in comparison, it was much better. I would recommend them without hesitation. The only items that weren't were the individual Christmas cards. I arrived around 7:45 this morning and there was already a lot of patrons in the store and in line. I picked up a handful of items that I can gift next year. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The associate assisting me at checkout was very cheerful despite it being a hectic morning already. One of the other associates helped put fragile items into boxes for me. I spent $82 today, the most I have ever purchased in one transaction. I had to maximize on the savings. Lol. I line up behind the sign and when I get to the front the store clerk sends me back to the longest line refusing to acknowledge their own sign. Cost: Worth the entrance fee, both child and adults have to pay. Fair price. There are also take home activities and play that cost extra, such as slime, treat making, soap making, and more. These extra activities are also fairly priced and and so much fun. The entrance fee to the Kids Playseum allowed you access to the establishment nextdoor, Playseum upstairs. They also have playseum bucks as well. Staff: Super nice, helpful, experienced and attentive staff. Everyone one we interacted with for our time there was fabulous. We were able to go to both the Be with me playseum and the playseum upstairs. Cleanliness: The kept a tight shop. The toys and amenities were well kept, organized, clean and in good condition. Options: There were so many rooms to play in, so many cute toys, books, dress up and imagination play. My favorite was the ice bucket where the fish were kept in the Safeway. Super cute!
