I've used this shop for years, but not again after today. I went to buy a card and two people were behind the register. One was ringing up the customer in front of me, the other was just standing behind a second register but not opening a second line. Two teens came in, picked something up, and went right to the register second register. That was when she decided she could open a second register and when I put the cards down and left. Not going back and I don't recommend shopping here. Find another store. read more

I speak from a unique perspective when it comes to Hallmark stores. When Cilla's Hallmark occupied a spot in the Parkview shopping center at Greenbrier & Military, I worked there for nearly 10 years, so I know the ins and outs of Hallmark, and how customers want to and should be treated. Since Cilla's closure, Amy's has been my go-to spot for cards and special or unique gifts (mostly for my girlfriends). I probably patronize this store at least once every 2 weeks. Thanks to the Hallmark Gold Crown program, I am constantly emailed extra coupons on top of my rewards dollars and the store usually provides me with a printed coupon each time I shop for the following month. In the years I have been shopping here, and my sincerest apologies for not writing a review sooner, I have yet to have a bad customer service experience. Each member of their staff has been knowledgeable and are always friendly when I stop in. They have a great selection of collectibles for those that are interested, gift wrap (though I wish their value gift wrap selection was as large as it used to be), jewelry, beauty items, toys and games, candy items, stationery, gifts for the bride-to-be and mom-to-be, gifts for hobbyists - they pretty much have something that will fit anyone for any occasion, even if you think they might not. And if you can't find that unique gift, they also stock a huge selection of gift cards so you don't have to drive to another store to get one of those. But also clothing from shirts, dresses, scarfs, sweatshirts, hats, and candles. And of course the large selection of cards to touch any heart !!! Really like this store due to it's eve changing displays and friendly staff. They are always well stocked and neat as a pin. Well staffed and quick to help they make shopping a breeze. Nice big shop that offer a variety of gifts in addition to their wide selection of greeting cards. Staff is helpful without being overbearing. I love to just stop by and look around. I love this place and i have been a regular here for 2 years. The manager is truly amazing bc when i moved out of state and had ornaments still to pick up, yepp she mailed them to my hotel via ups at no cost. The great thing about this place is that everyone, employees, customers, even regional mangement...we are all family. I met the regional manger when he first took over and he was amazing. It was about 8 months since we had seen eachother in the store face to.face but he still recognized me and made small talk about the last time we spoke. The employees don't seem to leave, the store is very well kept and there is always a fantastic sale. I'm happy that this is my regular Hallmark store! read more

My friends in the real world, you know the ones that took the red pill, know that I care enough to send the very best. I even had a purple reward card to prove it. "The Good" - Friendly Staff and know their stuff to boot. They are very polite and helpful if you need to find anything in the store. - The space is huge and you can actually walk around the aisles without tripping over other customers. - Christmas Ornaments - Its kinda insane, I honestly think they start selling in August... But they have the cool motorized ones and they are cool, stop hatin'. - I have seen picture frames chachkies and even candles although I am strictly a card man myself. "The Meh" - Parking can get dicey around card sending seasons, just be mindful and park and walk instead of trying to get a spot right in front that you will never be able to back out of. "The Bad" - Nothing really bad to comment on. read more

The store itself is great, lots of cards, gifts, etc, but their customer service is terrible. The employees are rude and stuck up. Thy act like you're bothering when you ask a question. They do not look up when they "greet" you as you walk in and when you check out, there is no smile. If it weren't for their large card selection I would never come back. read more

The staff used to be extremely helpful and extremely friendly but that declined fast. The manager of this store is super sweet but some of the young girls who work here act like they're better than you and get very annoyed at the simplest questions. I noticed that if something seems to be affecting them outside of work they will take that negative energy and bring it in to work. If they're having a bad day they let you know by being rude to you. There was this one girl who was always so sweet to me and so super helpful till one day I came in and she was just as rude as could be. I used to come in looking for something specific and she would always offer to check the back for me if I couldn't find it out on the floor. One time i went late in the day and the manager said they had some in the back but couldn't put it out till the next morning, I came back the next morning and didn't see what I wanted out on the floor so I asked the employee, the one who was always super nice to me, and asked if she could check the back and she straight up refused and said she had no clue what I was talking about. I even told her the manager told me they had them in the back. She didn't care. 2 hours later my friend went in looking for the same thing and the employee refused once again and insisted we were crazy. An hour after that my same friend went in and said "We know you have it in the back because your manager told us so we would really appreciate it if you could just check please" at this point i think the employee was just so annoyed so of course she went in the back and brought out what I wanted even though she previously insisted that they didn't have it. If there was some reason she couldn't sell it that's all she had to say, but to basically tell us we where lying and acting crazy wasn't necessary. read more

They have you sign up for their rewards program and then refuse to accept coupons that they send you. Hallmark sent a $5 off of $10 coupon today . My total was over $50 yet the cashier refused to scan it because she claimed my purchase didn't qualify even though she admitted the coupon would work because she was "doing her job". You let $5.00 cost you a customer for ever. Customer service like this won't keep you in business read more

This is a fabulous Hallmark location. The staff is really friendly, but not stalker-like. They are there when you need them, and they're not gushy/perky/annoying. I know that most Hallmark stores carry much of the same thing, but I really like the atmosphere of this store. It's comfortable, and makes me want to stick around and shop more. The displays are always well done, and it is obvious that the staff takes care of this store. Additionally, I have found that the staff is very knowledgeable about their product and can answer any manner of questions. read more

This is my all time favorite Hallmark store. We moved here a few months ago and the girls here have been so welcoming. Jenna in particular is great. She will go out of her way to make sure we are noticed and if she didn't see me for a while she will let me know I'm missed. One day I had received really bad news and was crying my entire transaction quietly and she was still smiling and creating a nice conversation to try to get my mind off of the bad news. I love seeing her and everyone else when I come in. Jenna is also sure to ALWAYS make sure I am aware of the specials going on. Definitely only coming to this Hallmark. read more

I have purchased Hallmark Keepsake ornaments and greetings cards for years to the tune of thousands of dollars, however, that is all about to change due to the poor customer service and attitudes prevailing at Amy's Hallmark. I had a coupon that listed specific exclusions for the coupon and a line that says "See store for any additional exclusions." I made a special trip today to the store to purchase a couple of additional ornaments before the coupon expiration date. I was informed I was not permitted to use the coupon for ornaments. I asked the cashier where this exclusion was documented, and she said it was in the fine print. I had already read the fine print and there was no such exclusion. The only possibility was the store was intent upon invoking the "See store for any additional exclusions" portion of the fine print in order to avoid honoring a $10 coupon. I was referred to someone higher up (I assume it was the manager) who had to search the coupon language to come up with this as the reason for disallowing its use. I asked if this exclusion was in writing somewhere in the store. The answer was no. So, customers who attempt to use coupons in good faith should know that Amy's Hallmark is disinclined to honor coupons even in the absence of specific exclusions. The bottom line is that I am highly incensed that I wasted a significant amount of time (and gasoline) driving to and from Amy's Hallmark, a store that clearly no longer wants my business. Amy's Hallmark is going to get its wish. Amy's Hallmark has successfully lost all of my family's business. read more
