I have been here at least 10 times. The first 7 times (at least) I would only get regular chocolate donuts. The chocolate, they use, is diff from any other donut place I have gone. It tastes so much better, and is richer in flavor. I love the fact they are open all day, because I love donuts and eat them at all hours of the day. So this place is very convenient for that. The donuts are just a bit priced more than the run of the mill donut shop, but it is well worth it. The 7 times getting chocolate, I alway ordered in the drive thru (which is another convenience of this place). Well this past week I decided to go in and see what they had to offer. To my surprise they have nothing but specialty donuts. There are so many to choose from. I am going to review the 3 I have tried. The Reese's puff donut is the best donut I have ate in my life. If you like chocolate and Reese's this is the donut for you. It isn't the Reese's chocolate cups, it is the cereal and it tastes so good. The Rocky Road is the 2nd one I tried and it is almost as good. The 3rd one was chocolate and Reese's cups. It was good but not on the same level as the Reese's Puff, so if you love Reese's (like I do), I suggest the Reese's Puff. I recommend this place to anyone who loves donuts, the tiny bit you will pay extra here is way worth it. And they are open 24 hours, so it will scratch that donut itch no matter what time you have it! read more

Not good at all. Just could not be more disappointed. Got a glazed and a chocolate frosted doughnut through the drive thu around 8:30pm. These doughnuts tasted EXACTLY like stale grocery store doughnuts. In fact possibly worse as the chocolate was almost melty and not at all how a chocolate frosted doughnut should be. To top this off, they are incredibly expensive. I bought 4 doughnuts and it was almost $8. A glazed ring, a chocolate ring and 2 chocolate rings with sprinkles. nearly EIGHT dollars. Amy's doughnuts tries to get cute and fancy and name their doughnuts. They call a standard pink frosted a "Homer Simpson" (doubt this is properly licensed) and proceed to change a premium for it. If you really want old grocery store doughnuts, I suggest you avoid Amy's and go to a grocery store in the evening, you can pick up the same quality doughnuts on clearance for a lot less. Quality will keep people coming back, cute names and flashy signs will only work for so long. I feel ripped off and will absolutely never be back. read more

Went in today right before close and they still had everything I wanted. Went with the classics (glazed, chocolate frosted, etc.). The donuts have a more cakier texture than something like Krispy Kreme, so they're more filling. The maple donuts were a slam - not too sweet or overwhelming. The big pig is absolutely huge and could definitely be an entire breakfast for even an endless pit like me. Service was wonderful and I even got complimentary donut holes probably because I came so late. read more

We (me and my friends) dropped in to get a treat for my friend's hubby. I eat whole-food, plant-based, so tasting a doughnut was out of the question. But I'm a fan of Amy's for a few reasons: it's clean and smells great, I was told they had about 25 different kinds of doughnuts but it's truly more like 50, they had delicious looking kolaches that were the size of small loaves of bread, and the doughnuts were beautiful works of art. My friend said her husband loved them, so based upon his evaluation, I would recommend Amy's. Also, most donut shops are only open a few hours a day... but not Amy's--go any time and enjoy! read more

Bland! This was the worst donut I've had and by far the worst most bland kolaches ever. It was the first time I've thrown away multiple kolaches. The lady serving donut had gloves on with chocolate icing ALL OVER. We asked her to change her gloves and she smiled at us and walked away from the window to get our order. I've been getting the kolaches. They're great and bigger than other places. It's really awesome also they're open after noon. There's mask communist delusion going on but I saw one employee with common sense which is encouraging. It's a little bit more expensive here but you also have a MUCH larger selection of donuts. read more

Came in on a Friday and it wasn't hectic, loved getting to choose from so many options! The employees were nice and helpful and the COVID distancing markers on the floor were great! This is my second time eating at Amy's Donuts and I just found out they were a chain. The question for me was not "is this good?", but more along the lines of "where has this been my whole life". Ordered donuts via Uber eats. One donut was supposed to be a cocoa pebbles donut but instead I received a Reese's puff cereal donut. Wouldn't be a big deal except I have a nut allergy. I called the store simply to bring it to their attention as a safety and liability concern. I wasn't looking for a refund or compensation. I politely informed the manager of the issue and suggested that she use this opportunity to educate her employees on being more careful in paying attention to orders. Her first response was not to apologize but to say that their facility is not allergy friendly and that there is much allergen cross contamination and to, "take that info as you will." I informed her that some people with allergies still eat foods or at restaurants that have allergy warnings but that doesn't mean I go and voluntarily order a donut with peanut butter cereal topping. I would just expect a little more understanding and promise to help their employees avoid the same mistake in the future. Next time, it may not be someone paying as close attention. Maybe then the manager will be understanding of the seriousness of such a mistake and be a little more proactive and apologetic! read more
