Finally tried Amy's this morning and was pleasantly surprised with some of the flavor options. It was almost overwhelming because I'm a very indecisive person lol but settled on the cherry frosted, butterfinger frosted, cinnamon sugar twist, the Elvis and the maple bacon. The cherry was very sweet but good. I enjoyed all of them but the butterfinger was underwhelming to me and I love butterfingers. My fiancé got the German chocolate, cookies and creme fluff, strawberry cheesecake, original glazed and cinnamon twist. They said they were super sweet but enjoyed them all. We will definitely be back to try more flavors. I've very picky about donuts and haven't liked many donuts here since hypnotic left but loved the flavor variety. I'd recommend checking out the website for a head start. Donuts I tried- Definitely have a glass of milk on hand for these- Nutella Crumb: I'm in love with this one. We attempted to order a dozen donuts via DoorDash. Got a call from a male employee who said they were out of mostly everything we ordered. Ok that's not great but it happens. What upsets me is he was rude. He acted annoyed he had to call to tell us about the issue. He never once apologized for the inconvenience or anything. He did ask if we wanted anything else. Tasted like day old convenient store donuts. I got a basic & simple glazed donut and a chocolate long john without any filling. Both were dry, stale, and lacking flavor. They reminded me of the donuts you would get from a generic gas station that have been sitting out for over 24 hours. I will mention that this place seems to pride itself on its "Specialty Donuts" that are much more involved with different toppings and themes but I am a fan of traditional donuts and honestly if you can't make a good glazed donut I have little faith that you can make any other donut well. The prices were high for what you get. Over $10 for 4 simple donuts is pricey, IMO. The service was slow but very friendly. The building is cool and well decorated and also in a great location. Any flavor you're thinking of they have pretty much. What makes it even more exciting is that it is open 24 hours. The actual store opens up at 4am and closes at 10pm but the drive thru is open 24 hours. Great for donut lovers like myself who are craving donuts around 2pm or even the middle of the night. Really good if its frying oil has been changed recently. Lots of aftertaste if the oil is needing a change. Sorry. I'm not much help as I don't know the oil change schedule. The chocolate glaze and Bavarian cream filling is good . The Apple fritter is a bit too heavy with oil. My guess is they fry too many, too fast, and the temperature drops, absorbing oil. Bottom line is yes they are fresh, crispy/tender - Good filling and toppings. Not perfect unless you buy on exactly the right moment. read more

1-1-2023 Great customer service, we were greeted immediately and given some time to look. When she found out it was our 1st visit she explained the donuts and process and all the offerings. It was very overwhelming for a donut shop. The Elmo and cookie monster were very cute. They are open 24 hours, it was quite, clean and very well lit. Everything looked delicious, and there was a lot to choose from even though the stock was almost depleted, due to the rush they had on NYE. Clean restrooms and there is a great Denton mural painted on the wall. I went with the blueberry old fashioned, the crispiness was just what I craved. So many other delicious options to the long john can be filled with one of 5 fillings including raspberry, vanilla, lemon, bavarian or white creme. The Lil or Big pig are definitely contenders for my next visit. I purchased two of the same donut and was able to enjoy the second one the next day (no toppings). read more

24 hour amazing donuts. What more can you ask for the donut lovers. They have your normal chocolate, glazed for those plain Jane donut lovers. But oh boy, then its like Emeril "BAM" they hit you with a plethora of specialty donuts. German Chocolate, Oreo Cookie, an Elvis donut (peanut icing, bacon and chocolate drizzle). Not sure what is going on at this establishment in Denton but went in with my son over the weekend to get doughnuts and entire staff (3) individuals, looked directly at us and walked in the back and never returned. Not one employee addressed us or assisted. We stood there in disbelief for a few minutes thinking it was a joke or something because each employee looked directly in our face and did not say one word!
