My search is over! Best chocolate frosted fried cakes I've had since moving to Texas five years ago!

I was craving a light, airy, buttery cronut with lots of layers. I arrived at 8am and the selection was slim. I ordered a glaze, half and half old fashion, and a dulce de leche cronut. The glaze donut was denser then I like, but it wasn't bad. I am not really a fan of heavy glaze, but the glaze was typical for donut spots. I really like a crunchy old fashion, this one was softer. The half with the chocolate I didn't try. But my son said it tasted "regular". Lastly, the cronut. A nice sugar cinnamon would have been sufficient but they only had blood orange and dulce de Leche. The sign said 100 layers. The dulce on top was delicious. The cronut? I don't know. Definitely wasn't 100 layers (maybe I misread the sign). It was also dense. It wasn't bad as a regular donut, just didn't stand up as a cronut that I've experienced before. read more

First visit! I arrived at the store shortly after 12:30pm, so most of the donut options were limited to a few original glazed and several flavors of cake donuts. I ended up ordering 4 cake donuts and to my surprise, the cashier was kind enough to give me 2 additional glazed donuts for free. Overall, the store was clean, the staff was welcoming, and the donuts were delicious. I'll definitely return earlier in the morning next time for more options. Highly Recommended! read more

Still the best donut shop in Denton, with unique and delicious flavors and always a wonderful selection. There's drinks in the fridge such as coffee and water, and in addition to the donuts there's also kolaches and jumbo sausage rolls. Pictured here is what I got today (: she gave me a old fashioned on the house bc she remembers its my fave!! I had never tried it before I first started coming here and one day a few months ago she gave me one to try because I mentioned I was curious. Now I'm hooked, they go so well with coffee because they're not as super-sweet as the contemporary options i probably wouldn't have ever tried it if it weren't for her suggestion and now I crave them all the time. I usually come about once a week at least. It's awesome having a great relationship with the business because they can point you to things they know you'll like and are always super chill and accommodating. We visited around 9am and it wasn't very busy inside. They have a case of donuts with some artisan flavors like blueberry cheese and croissant donuts as well as the typical yeast donuts and cake donuts. They also serve small and large kolaches. We ordered a large cheese kolache, large jalapeño kolache, salted caramel croissant donut, and a boston cream donut and then they threw in an extra birthday cake donut!!! So I've heard AMAZING things about this place and I finally had the opportunity to check it out!! These are hands down some of the greatest donuts and pastries I have ever had in my ENTIRE LIFE!! Everything was so fresh, fluffy, and DELICIOUS!! My sister and I ordered a variety of items but my absolute favorites were the blueberry cheesecake donut, the apple pie donut, the jalapeño sausage croissant roll, and the sausage croissant sandwich!! I can't even pick a favorite because they were all so perfect!! As if things couldn't get better, the customer service was AMAZING!! Everyone in there is so sweet and helpful!! Based on the quality alone, they could be charging an arm and a leg for these pieces of heaven on earth and I wouldn't bat an eye, but the fact that they are selling all of this AT A BARGAIN?!?!?! My favorite breakfast stop - truly- you will not believe the quality of the breakfast offerings at this gem of a find. Finally a donut shop that is amazing. Their kolache and savory breakfast options are all winners and come in various sizes. I can grab a small ham and cheese or a sausage with jalapeño and not feel guilty about adding a donut. Whatever dough they are making is incredibly flavorful and beautifully cooked. And the donuts? Well, prepare yourself for an amazing experience. The citrus and berry glazes MUST have real fruit juice - you can't get this sort of flavor without using the real thing. Someone in this donut shop has a flair for creating special donuts. The creme brûlée has a crackly sugar topping with an awesome custard filling. The Boston cream is a mini Boston cream. I love the coconut cake/pie - there is custard filling For the peanut butter and Jelly folks - yes there is such a donut. There are potato donuts, croissant donuts, usual donuts, bear claws- believe me I am not naming all of your options. Let's just say, it could take you weeks to work your way through all of their donut options. I love starting my day there - easy in and out and you are right back on your way. The folks there could not be more welcoming and they are so patient while you make your choices. Of course they have coffee and other beverages are available in the cooler. This place is the best! Sadly, discovered it right before I moved out of Denton so now my drive in is a little bit longer. These are the BEST donuts I've ever had. Once you've tried these it makes it very hard to justify buying donuts anywhere else. My favorite flavor is probably the Ube and my partner's fav is the creme brulee. Super unique donut place which warrants this review. First time ever having a potato donut and it was delicious and unlike any other donut I'd ever ate before. But the best donut I've ever had in my entire life is their Belgian chocolate croissant donut, which had real Belgian chocolate on the top not the gross fake chocolate most donut places use. Wow! Highly suggested for anyone and everyone to stop and give this place a try. Not only is their doughnut game on-point, the service is second to none! Haven't had a "blow me out of the water" experience like this in a while. I ordered two coffees along with a couple doughnuts and had to wait on a fresh pot of coffee to be brewed. I wasn't in a rush, and didn't mind one bit, but they went above and beyond to make sure I was tended to as I waited- threw in some doughnut holes and a couple other bonus treats as a thank you for patience.
