Her eye for material and color is spot on. She pushed me to go outside my comfort zone which elevated the look and feel of the space. The flow from our entry way into a large living/dining space and our photo wall of memories makes me smile every time I come home. I appreciated her effort to stay within my budget .. finding less expensive but quality pieces in a few places so that I could get my must haves. It truly was a pleasure to work with her.

She transformed the Studio 300 sq ft to have distinct living, dining, sleeping, and working spaces. She tamed the chaos and created a tranquil space employing textures, artwork, storage, and layout. Our daughter and her puppy love their place. We found the perfect BPC 2 bedroom and needing it move in ready in just 4 weeks, she created a livable contemporary design with custom artwork, sourcing new furnishings, which we never would have picked ourselves, but love, and coordinated all painters and any contractors. On move in day, we filled the pantry, hung our clothes and just started living. What a treat to not have had to worry and just enjoy our new place. No matter what your space, Tina can work her design magic and make it stunningly, comfortably yours.

First, the design questionnaire was excellent - especially for someone like me who doesn't know much about interior design. It was able to identify my design preferences by showing different living rooms and asking which ones were to my liking. In addition, its questions served as a great preparation for the home visit, so Stephanie came well prepared for our meeting. Stephanie was very creative, professional, and helpful throughout the process. When she visited my place, we decided on a design together, in an efficient process, where she was able to translate my needs and preferences to interior design decisions and furniture choices. After two weeks, she assembled a furniture shopping list, within the budget I requested. I purchased all items she suggested. The furniture items were sourced from many furniture stores and I felt she did an excellent job finding items that were beautiful, fit the overall design, and reasonably priced. I get nothing but compliments about my place (even from my Architect friend who is quite stingy with design related complements...). Well done Stephanie! As to the cost-effectiveness of the service - had I done this process myself (even with friends help), I would have surely spent more time, more money, getting worse results. Finally, the service was well structured and transparent. Good stuff overall.

Sharné worked around these obstacles to create a beautiful design for our new space. She worked with us tirelessly over several months and created something really unique. We will definitely use Sharné again in the future and highly recommend Decorilla.

When I questioned whether my primary bedroom's walk-in closet was included, they told me it was a separate design space. In the same response, they emphasized that my designer had made "exceptions" by helping with a bathroom paint color and a living room bookcase. As a paying client, I found that response dismissive. I expected my concerns to be addressed professionally, without having assistance characterized as favors. They also informed me that my designer's involvement had officially ended and that she would no longer be available for project correspondence. Although they offered to answer questions through their support team, this left me feeling unsupported after a significant investment. I expect Decorilla to follow through on every purchase I made through them and help resolve any delivery issues. Based on my experience, I would advise prospective clients to get clear written details about what each room package includes and what support continues after the design is declared complete.

She was able to to really listen to what my fiance and I liked, despite our differing taste, and find common themes that we both loved. She is that rare mix of creative and organized. She can think outside the box to solve complex design challenges, and she's also a true professional - responsive, patient, and flexible. In addition to helping arrange and select furniture and accessories, she connected me with a great contractor and project managed a number of additional changes to the apartment, including an absolutely fantastic custom bookshelf and desk and a number of other fixer-uppers. Since I've been working with her, my apartment has transformed. I feel like I live in a new place, and for the first time in my life, I feel like it actually reflects who I am and what I love. On this project, she worked with Cecilia Reboursin of Larebour as a partner. Cecilia, a former archictect, is also absolutely fantastic, and they make a great team!

In other words, she kept my "safari theme" intact and only made it better. She also assessed my overflowing closets and helped me organize that disaster. Clothes were grouped by season, and a ton of stuff was earmarked for charity. Sam is a very creative and talented interior designer, and I would recommend her in a heartbeat.
