I would be doing a disservice to myself and to others if I didn't share my opinion about the excellent care and experience I have received from Dr. Cindy Parnes and her entire staff. As a relatively new patient, Dr. Parnes kindly accepted me where several other doctors rejected me as a new patient. Having concerns regarding menopause and feeling too young to accept these changes, Dr. Parnes kindly and professionally addressed my concerns and came up with an effective game plan changing the course of my unhappy situation into one that continues change for the better. We are all unique and different and Dr. Parnes certainly evaluates her patients with that in mind. Her strong confidence, knowledge, and kindness leaves me feeling like I received the latest in medical trends and feeling secure that I am in good hands and the recipient of excellent care. In addition, Dr. Parnes has referred me to Dr. Nirman Tulsyan, a board-certified vascular surgeon. Along with age, menopause, teaching for 31 years, and working out with heavy weights, ugly spider veins became another concern that I didn't want to live with. Dr. Parnes was so enthusiastic to inform me that I did not have to and that insurance would most likely cover the procedure after an ultrasound was preformed. After meeting Dr. Tulsyan who traveled to the Montvale, NJ office to discuss my vein situation I eagerly signed up for the procedure continuing my quest for excellence and striving for total well being. Dr. Tulsyan's calming nature creates an excellent environment for those of us who can be a little apprehensive with the unknown. His excellent listening skills and approachable personality as well as his excellent team performed this procedure on me four times and each time I was confident knowing I was safe and well taken care of. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to be treated by these exceptional doctors.

You just get a comforting aura from him, which is great because going to the gyno can be scary. I have been going to him for my annual checkups for about 4 years now. He is very good at talking patients through procedures whether is a basic Pap smear or a more physically intensive procedure. I had an intensive procedure done about a month ago and he was very good at warning me when the pain was about to come. He let me stay in the room until I was feeling better (took me about a half hour). He also made sure a nurse was constantly checking up on me and my progress. Fantastic experiences every time.

Once in the pre-op unit, Chris set me up and then Nancy was sure to keep my husband updated with my progress. Mark. the OR nurse could not have been kinder! He explained everything that was expected. I felt very informed and that put me at ease. Jen, the scrub tech, had the OR in tip top shape for the procedure! Dr Delfico is very knowledgeable and calm, I knew I was in good hands! The person who gets the least amount of attention but is VERY important is the anesthesiologist, Dr Sakowitz. She was extremely thorough with my allergies and medications as well as my history with anesthesia. I again, knew I was in good hands. Last but not least was the PACU nurse Lia, she was funny, kind and caring! The facility is easy to find and there is plenty of parking. As a first time mom, the LAST thing you want to hear from your doctor is "if your this nervous for a pelvic exam you're going to have a hard time delivering." She called me "heavy" multiple times. And at my 6 week post partum appointment she said to my face that I had a tough delivery, which I really didn't.. I only pushed for 15 minutes. Even my husband was not happy with her in the delivery room. She insisted on him taking a photo of her holding the baby when he has said 3 times that he didn't want one. Her office staff is amazing. Maria made me feel comfortable every time I saw and I was so excited to show her our new baby at our 6 week post parting visit. Overall, she is no bedside manners and is rude. We will never set foot in her office again.
