After i take out my phone to pay Apple Pay, the front desk guy tells me i need my physical card . So i run to get my card in my card & they said it depends on if the security lets me back in. Then when i run to ask the security guard, he tells me the door will close on me at 10pm. It was 9:58pm . He suggests to use the ATM. As i use the ATM, it's giving me issues & it hits 10pm & they yell over to me it's too late. So i ask them even when im inside already? That makes no sense. Why would you let someone inside with 5 minutes & they can be in line at 9:59 & the system wouldn't let them purchase anything at 10pm ? Allowing that gentleman in after making me wait 5 minutes when he shouldn't have been allowed in, caused me to not have enough time to go back inside & get my ID. Now you lost a good customer & gained one for one night for a customer who will probably never be back cus they don't even have an ID . Completely stupid system & employees who clearly can't use communication to help their customers within the last 5-10 minutes of closing. Why even accept customers after 9:50 & NOT tell them the system will NOT allow them to purchase ANYTHING after 9:55 so there is no confusion? Never been at a store like this & will NOT be back based off this inconvenience alone . Disappointing second time back & will NOT be back.

I used it for only one evening and immediately noticed a very unpleasant alcohol-like taste. It also had almost no effect on me compared with other cartridges I've used. The second night, I decided to give it another try--and the cartridge was already empty. For context, a 1g cartridge normally lasts me about a month, so there is absolutely no way I could have gone through the entire cartridge in one evening. I returned to the store because the employee who originally sold it to me specifically told me to come back if I had any issues and that they would exchange it. When I explained what happened, the employee helping me seemed to assume that I had simply used the entire cartridge. I tried to explain that this was not possible given my normal usage, but I could tell she didn't believe me. She did agree to exchange it, but I was told I could only exchange it for the exact same product. That makes absolutely no sense to me. If I'm returning a product because I believe there is something wrong with it and I'm unhappy with its quality, why would I want the exact same thing again? Since that was my only option, I took the same cartridge, hoping the first one had simply been defective. Unfortunately, the replacement was even worse. I took approximately 10-15 inhales and the entire 1g cartridge was gone. Once again, it had the same strange alcohol-like taste. This is now the third time I've purchased something from MedMen, and each time I've walked away feeling that the product was overpriced and poor quality. After this experience--and an exchange policy that forces a customer to replace a product they're unhappy with with the exact same product--I won't be shopping at this store again.

I.e the birthday promo, they state one 1g preroll online "on us", that's it, no other rules, just a sweet "it's your birthday we got you". All their other online promos clearly state a need for prior purchase I.e bogo deals etc. The birthday offer states no need for purchase, which at first glance online seems like such a sweet and kind deal-until you walk in and they treat people on their birthday week taking them at their word only to be treated like they're an annoyance for even (kindly) double checking. The manager with attitude was even walking away as she half assed explained it like she had better things to do. Girl be so for real, you manage a dispensary, with barely any customers in it (wonder why), you aren't better than anyone. Being lazy and unprofessional doesn't make you cool, it makes you sad. Lazy staff, rude staff, no care to offer their customers an easy time. After reading into other negative reviews it seems as though the manager who most encounter was part of the rudeness I too encountered. What baffles me is that their Echo Park location has always truly had such good energy, sweet knowledgeable staff who greet you with joy when you walk in, ask you kindly to wait if there's a line, don't make you hand your own receipt to a weird window across the room where no one on the other side communicates, nor make you feel looked down on for asking simple questions about the promos they wrote themselves. I even called EP to see if they had the same deal, whoever answer the phone said no but even went so far as to double check themselves and even apologize when they confirmed they didn't have the same deal. I have never in a day experienced the same lazy rude energy at their EP location, if you can hire a budtender who can answer the phone with kindness and even go out of their way to put you on hold to double check for you- then you can hire kind staff at your other location who don't make your name look bad. Whoever they chose to run the show for their Hollywood location is really tarnishing their name, the difference is night and day and boy oh boy whoever they put in charge of this location was a huge mistake. Sad truly. I never write bad reviews, rarely complain, but when you treat people like that it's just incredibly unnecessary, and unfortunately worth calling out. Hope y'all get it together.
