In…read moreaddition, I had a prior contractor move a pass through door and subsequently made it way too narrow, so narrow that only a skinny adult or small child could squeeze through. My poor shoulders literally got scratched walking through. Dave and Daren performed the following projects: widened the small doorway and fixed shoddy prior work, patched 8 electrical cut out boxes (old cable/lan lines/tv hidden wire boxes), ceiling light move hole patched, big 10x20" cutout from a plumbing project, float out old drywall repair that had a big vertical seam. He was highly skilled at the patchwork, sheetrock installation/mudding/taping/texture spraying. I appreciated how quickly they worked and the quality of every job. A lot of the work was detailed but also technical in terms of fixing that doorway. They nailed it. In addition, Dave arrived promptly at 7:00am each day as promised, did an immaculate job taping and containing the areas in plastic to ensure no overspray got on my stuff. Scott was excellent. We hired him to install a Patio door at our daughter's house, replacing the sliding door. He was professional, knowledgeable and curtious. He even included stucco patch in quote, but offered to paint the stucco on outside as well. He had to let it dry and come back the next day, Saturday morning to finish caulking inside and painting outside stucco. I would recommend Scott for all your remodel jobs. We even hired him to come back this week and install 3 ceiling fans at our daughter's house as well! It doesn't get any better than Scott! Hire him, nobody else! read more

I hired Scott for some plumbing work. We needed to change out the wax ring on toilet in my hall bath that was also extremely unsteady, rocking from side to side. Upon inspection we also discovered that the old water valve behind our toilet had been leaking for quite some time, but he was able to take care of that for us too. He completed all that work shortly in a few hours for half the price other plumbers had quoted us. We are so grateful! I received quotes for work to be done on 2 properties. Not a huge job ($3000) but a solid variety of tasks that allowed me to see if this is an experienced company that can do the jobs well and reliably (installing ceiling fans, bathroom exhaust fans, weather-stripping exterior doors, tightening a few loose toilets). They said that it would take 4 days to complete our job. So I waited 3 weeks until they could scheduled us in. At the end of the 4 days, this was what was completed: 1 ceiling fan installed in a bedroom. Nothing else. 4 days to install a ceiling fan? The injury to insult was the total lack of communication from the office. Not one single email, text or phone call after I left multiple messages as to what the status of our job was. We had tenants moving in the following week so I sent an detailed email to cancel and explained what went so terribly wrong with this job. No reply. Just an invoice for the 1 ceiling fan. I found a different handyman who singlehandedly completed the entire scope of work in 2 days! without complaint or fanfare and $840 cheaper. He is now my go-to guy for all my repairs and remodeling jobs.
