I got some nice thick cut rib chops, you know, the ones that look like little prime ribs? Theses looked real good at round just $5.99 / lb. We rubbed a spice mix on them and bbq'ed on the gas grill. Wow, those were some great pork chops, I'll go back to my Local Raleys and get there again! Beef prices are getting too high and these taste even better! I was on a budget and stayed and shopped in a smaller, nearby town, Corning. However, I like Trader Joes and gave this store a try, glad I did. Pros - clean - easy parking - reasonable prices, for a store of this quality. - this and WinCo seem to be the better stores, not just for Chico, but within an hours drive. Con - Are Trader Joe's over priced? If I was moving to this area, I would live and shop in a smaller town, such as Corning or Orland. Then I would be saving money on housing and food.

I took off one star because I constantly find products that have no pricing and it's super annoying to have to go find someone or go all the way to the front of the store to have them do a price check, especially when grabbing stuff out of the refrigerator or freezer, Also they need someone who's checking the Maintenance. I saw smoke pouring out of the top of the fridge that holds the eggs when I tried to tell an employee, they just looked at me like OK well whatever why are you telling me this? The other thing they could improve on would be removing produce, etc., that has expired or is it going bad? I have constantly gone to grab something found it and handed it to an employee.
