Okay with gas prices varying so much lately this is my go to gas station when I am in Escondido in terms of price. It has not been beat for me and continues to be that way. It is also only a few lights from the freeway. I also enjoy their drive thru car wash when I have the time and if you include it while getting gas it brings your gas price down a little too! I like this spot for gas because they have one of the cheapest prices in the area but they don't accept credit card. They only take cash or debit card. This gas station is spacious and has a lot of pumps. I saw they offer a small discount on gas if you get your car washed there but I haven't tried the wash yet. read more

This station operates and is responsible for a car wash on their premises called "Mister Foamy's". Here's my experience with this car wash. **WARNING ** Do NOT go there, unless you don't mind if your car gets DAMAGED!!!! On Dec 27, 2024 I used this car wash and my passenger side mirror was damaged. See attached pic. I'm 100% certain that it happened there because I had just folded both mirrors in before going into the tunnel and they were both NOT damaged at all. I would've seen it if they were. When I came out of the tunnel the passenger mirror was blown forward, away from the car. Somehow those forceful fat vertical brushes broke my mirror casing. So I talked to Ron, the manager and he took pics and had me fill out this form with my contact info. He then said he would email the pics and my info. to the Corporate office and they would get back to me. No one did. So I called him a couple of weeks ago to check on it, he said he would email them again. But again no one contacted me. So I went to that location in person on Sat. Jan 25 2025 (One month after the damage) and the counter employee used a walkie-talkie to call Ron. He never came over but sent this other employee to ask what the issue was and I told him (naively). He then said he would get Ron. I was there waiting for quite awhile when I saw this employee again. I then asked him where Ron was and he said he "was still looking for him". This place isn't that big. So Ron was there but didn't want to talk to me now that he knew why I was there. I left a written message for him to call me since I could not wait any longer, but he never called me, unsurprisingly. So I emailed their "support" TWICE and finally got a reply saying the damage did not happen there, yes it did! They claimed their equipment is "safe" and "gentle" and "designed to clean without causing damage". They then said they have a sign there (which I didn't see) with a laundry list of things they're not liable for, and of course mirrors is on that list. Now IF their equipment is so "safe" and "gentle", why would they need a list that long to evade liability?!? STAY away from this place if you care about your vehicle! You'll thank me later. read more

Service was awful. I went to get gas. Asked the cashier about the air pump. He gave me a receipt and he said to punch in the last 5 numbers(where he pointed in the receipt) to get it free. I went to the air pump and there are no instructions on how to use the payment pad (it kept asking for card payment). I had to click at the arrows, looked for the menu button, etc. couldn't find where I need to punch in the numbers. Went back to the cashier for instructions. I was told he couldn't help me as it is not allowed! If he can't help me, they should at least put instructions by that payment pad! read more

I ABSOLUTELY have to compliment the service I receive at the car wash. The attendant Mahir will give you best customer service this company has to offer. I highly recommend the monthly membership with them. It's more than affordable and well worth the $24.99 per month. I always have great service from Marco (not sure spelling is right) he is always so helpful to me in the car wash and he helps me put my car wash code in the machine because I have difficulty putting my code in to get a car wash. He always scrub the exterior of my car so that it looks great coming out of the car wash. I don't go to any other car wash except for this one and it's because the car wash attendant is always so helpful to me. read more

I've boycotted this station for years because of their shitty outside pay machines not working with CHASE cards and their fuel nozzles not staying engaged with my SUV.. Recently I've grown irritated with the long lines at Costco and noticed that the prices here are not too far off. So, I reluctantly gave it one last try. Apparently a lot has changed because those walk up may kiosks have all been ripped out. You now pay at the pump, unless of course you have cash. Cash has to go inside to pay. - If you pay with cash the pump trickles slowly until it reaches the amount. - Their car wash won an Escondido Darwin award for it's lack of operating hours and crappy design. - Worst TV on a Gas Pump concept.. - The price is very close to Costco but without the 10-15 minute wait. read more

I've been doing business at this store for years; buying my gas, car washes, and convenience store merch. These guys were waaay out front of this COVID-19 thing; they installed plexiglass shields at their cash registers and now they even offer all of the fresh food condiments in single-serve, individually packaged bags and plastic cups, and the store, its restrooms, and the gas pumps are clean, clean, clean! Both times that I last bought gas, they had an employee sanitizing the gas pumps and the handles or nozzles that you place in your car with Clorox sanitizing wipes! I'm the first one to complain if I see something that's just plain wrong, or unsafe, believe me. But I think it is a good idea to congratulate local business that really are "walking the walk" and DEMONSTRATING that they care about the health and safety of their customers. Gross. Kept trying to pour a soda out of their machines and fruit flies kept falling out as the soda poured. I get that gnats happen but that means they are not cleaning these machines very well. I dumped a few drinks before I gave up. Dont know why I even kept trying, its clearly gross. I bought a juice for my daughter then went to check out. One of the newer Arcos I have been to. I typically stop here when I go to Express Tire to get car stuff done or if I need to use the Navy Fed ATM. Ample pumps and I don't ever feel uncomfortable being in this area. A great gas stop before heading off to Vegas. read more

This review is for the carwash. It has been a convenient place to quickly wash our car; nothing to rave about but it was ok. Today, however, is a different matter. We got the top level wash this afternoon. The front guy hosed down and applied some product onto the car before it went through the machine (they don't do the product for a lesser level). When we got to the end, another guy was waving us through. I spoke to him and asked if the car is to be wiped dry. He told me I won't get that service because I only paid for the basic wash. I kept telling him I paid for the most expensive one. Finally, the front guy came and I saw that he gestured to the other guy that I paid for the mid-priced service. So the other guy wiped the car down. When done, I told him I paid for the top service, and is there anymore to be done to the car. He dismissively said that there was no other service. Quite frankly, even if he was telling the truth, I don't know if I will ever find these guys credible. I wish the guy who used to man this carwash is still there. Even though peremptory in manner, he did his job well and honestly. Since they take your receipt (instead of just looking at it to see what you have purchased), take a photo so you will have something to back you up when they do the same as they did to me. Don't use this location. I usually use this location because it down the street from my house. came to get gas and clean my windows before our road trip. While filling up my tank, I decided to clean the windows. Unfortunately the water was loaded with vomit water and my whole car smelled so bad I could smell it with the doors closed. I told the manager about it and the only resolution was to get a Windex bottle to wash my car. Realizing I was going no where. I decided to get my car washed at this location. After my car wash we had to wait for the attendant to get a receipt. Forty-five minutes later I finally get a receipt for my car wash and get in the road. Terrible! read more

Prices are lower than most gas stations within a mile radius. Great location where you have easy access from El Norte or Iris Way. The convenience store is well stocked and have great selection of snacks and drinks to refuel yourself. Clerks are friendly and courteous. Sometimes, the ATM/DEBIT/Cash machines run out of paper for receipts, probably 10% of the time. Very inconvenient to have to walk into the store to ask for a receipt. Nice landscaping recently put in to spruce up the place. read more

I just experienced the best service at a drive thru car wash. The gentleman working as an attendant at the Mr. Foamy's located at this AM/PM was friendly and takes pride in what he does. I didn't expect to have my car rinsed before going thru the wash...and not only did he rinse, he took the time to do a good job and loosen a few caked on spots. Really convenient place for gas and snacks.i live really close so in daily. its the only place i pump gas. everyone is great and friendly . EXCEPT their are two Filipino decent Men that work there ,they obviously were never trained in customer service.specially the short one that works at night. they wont even greet you. this is whhy i give it three strars. if it wasnt for them i would put 5 stars. This location is horrible. Reade will never accept my Wells Fargo or B of A debit cards. Has been this way for a long time. Heard they installed readers on the pump so decided to give them another chance....but guess what?????....button to designate atm usage doesn't work either. Had to go inside AGAIN for the VERY LAST TIME...I travel in excess all over the state and prefer Arco as they are usually competive in price. Never have card NOT accepted at the pump. ANYWHERE! Many things wrong with this place. First off, the owners and male employees are pigs! They check out all the females and watch them walk out, then ring the next person. Like come one, your married! The car wash is total crap! It put a crack in my windshield, and they didn't do anything! There response was, it was there before (but it was a brand new car, have been driving it for a week and a half. I would have noticed it.) i would much rather go literally right down the street and pay five cents more and get great customer service. I work at this gas station. I am giving my review as felt from the inside. One of the largest issues, and annoyance, of this gas station is a $0.35 debit fee, and that credit cards are not accepted. The owner himself is an excellent man, the problems you may experience with the cash terminals(involving cash or using a card) happen randomly. Every so often, issues arise with them not scanning your card correctly, or not taking cash, causing you to have to go inside. The owner has spent a good chunk of money to hire someone to fix them, but they still have issues, it really is not the owners fault. That is one downfall. Another downfall is how you can't use prepaid BP gas cards anywhere outside Regardless of those minor issues, this gas station is always in excellent condition. We, as employees, take pride in providing excellent customer service, and also keeping the station extremely clean. This station is always well stocked, and every employee working here has excellent communication skills besides, in my opinion, one Filipino man. Gas here is always much cheaper than other gas stations in Escondido. This station is conveniently located right off the I-15, so it's perfect to stop by for cheap, but great quality, gas while you're traveling.
