Sadly they are gone already! The guys working this day were very friendly and helpful with selections and quick to serve! All three of us (the Mrs, my Aunt, and myself) ordered the Biertgarten Smashburgers and we split an order of the Cheese Curds. The burgers were two 4oz chuck/brisket patties, fried onion, American cheese, lettuce, pickles, and Smash Sauce served on a toasted brioche bun and is FANTASTIC! Have plenty of napkins at your disposal as the flavor oozes from this burger! The hand-cut fries are a great side and very good too (I had to add some salt to put them over the top)...the Cheese Curds made it a trifecta...they were outstanding as well, crispy coating and melt in your mouth cheesyness! The servers were very helpful and ready to help out at a moments notice. Dixie's Biertgarten Smashburger has moved on to my Top 5 Burgers I've Ever Had list... It was around 3 in the afternoon and the place was packed (casual atmosphere and some sports on the big screens) so you may have to wait for a seat...there is some outdoor seating but it was raining today but FYI....it's definitely worth the time so be patient!

I stumbled across this place after making plans to have dinner with some friends at Rudy's Tacos, which is housed in the same corner building. This bar is located directly across the hall from the Lava Lounge and I believe has the same owners. Arriving early on a Tuesday evening there were a few people in the Lava Lounge but no one yet at the Beer Hall. While waiting for a third friend to arrive we bellied up to the bar and were attended to by a great bartender who knew his beer. The bartenders floated between the bars on an as needed basis and one could order something on tap from either bar. Very easy going, very friendly. Now about the beer. Between the two places there were approximately 10 taps including beers from Jolly Pumpkin, Tool and Brouwerij Bavik (Petrus Oud Bruin) and bottles and cans ranging from $2 Grain Belt Nordeast to Bourbon County Brand Stout to Duchesse de Bourgogne. Since I was just back in town visiting I can't speak to the prices very well but they seemed reasonable. On Thursdays they apparently offer beer from another neighbor in the same building, Guerrilla Brewing Company. I wasn't around long enough to give that a try but certainly hope to on the next visit.

Because of the deluge of people in town, menu was taken out only and was choice of lasagna and a calzone type sandwich. They ran out of the lasagna just before we got to front so friend ordered food while I secured a cool spot to sit upstairs in bar. ALL of the staff were incredible and friendly. Bartenders were awesome and we put them to task. Several rounds. The "pizone", aka calzone was very good, fresh baked bread loaf with sauce, meat and cheese baked into it.

The panino ended up being a slightly thinly filled pepperoni roll with meatballs added which was slightly a downer. Had to ask for my refill as the waitress while nice seemed to be working the kitchen as well. Waited about 15 minutes to get my check from the time I took my card out and put it on the table. On paper it was cool...but nothing wowed me enough to recommend.

It's an enormous, industrial-chic space and is built for events and charter busses. Their patio is dog friendly but you have to come inside to order at the bar after checking in. The food looked decent and the pretzel was ok. Standard, uninspired brewpub food for the most part. Worth noting that their beer list isn't up to date so we missed out on a few barrel aged things they said they had. Basically you have to get there on release day if you want any non-flagship dark beers. It's a nice one-stop shop on a road trip for food and beer but I don't think it's worth going out of the way for.

Bright and friendly. The beers were good. I even liked the sample of pumpkin beer I tried and I'm not a pumpkin beer fan. The black IPA was extremely good. We discovered on selected days that they do in house made pizzas, so we tried the Cuban. It was soo good. Honey mustard base with ham, canadian, bacon and pickles. So glad we tried it. Delicious. A ways for us to travel, but we'll worth the drive!

I already had the brewery to try but relatives that live somewhat locally to the town added more justified hype and momentum to give this brewery a try. Without a doubt we will be returning! Might first beer so far with Pivo is their excellent their American Light Lager known as Rice ville Light Lager. As the name suggests this is a rice lager which I do really enjoy getting. This beer is crisp, slightly sweet, malty and a clean finish. That is a highly excellent beer and I can't wait to try more of their beer options. Excellent, excellent starting beer with this brewery!

They had plenty of servers working and the service was prompt and attentive. We ordered the cheese curd appetizer which was just enough, had a few beers (Jamaica IPA was a personal favorite) and listened to some music on a very pleasant afternoon!
