Super cute little succulent and gift stand with seasonal pumpkins too. We got to watch the goats, emu, and alpacas enjoying breakfast.

Went shopping for a citrus tree. This place carries plants…read morefrom the Monrovia supply.but they carry such a large section. I've never seen this many different and hard to find plants. Plenty of people working to help load or answer questions. The prices are higher than big box stores, but your not going to find this kind of variety and different sizes at any box stores. I feel that the higher prices are justified based on selection and the customer service

The plants I get from here are all alive still! They are all doing well This place has a large variety of plants, from flowers to trees, from fruits to vegetables, from shrubs to bushes to vines. It's a really fun place to look around if you are into plants. The prices are a little higher than the other stores, but the quality of plants I get are worth it. The staff are always friendly and helpful. They also have a loyalty program, the Hedge fund, that you can earn points and turn them into in-store credit. They also offer free gardening classes on saturdays Some of their other gardening things (soil, fertilizer, pots etc) are quite expensive, so I do price-check with other places first.

The best place in City Heights and my favorite San Diego nursery! I can be here all day -- and so…read morecan my pup Enzo. First of all, the place is huge. There's so much to see, so bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and comfy shoes since the ground can be uneven. You'll encounter steps, slopes, and some dirt paths. The parking lot is small and fills up fast, so I like to get there early, especially if I'm doing a big plant haul. It can be tricky loading plants when you're parked far away. What doesn't this place have? There's an onsite bar and grill that's dog‑friendly, has live music, and serves brunch on weekends. There's also a cute boutique flower/gift shop with curated items perfect for any plant lover. They offer free local classes to help educate the community -- I've taken the shrub class, but they have tons of gardening‑related workshops. They have chickens, birds, turtles, and more. They care for and rescue animals, which is amazing. They sell compost, and they have every plant you can imagine, plus a large selection of seeds, pots, tools, beekeeping supplies, and canning equipment. I love that this is a neighborhood, locally owned nursery that truly gives back. They do so much to educate the community and promote sustainability. Please support them and get your next plant baby here. A perfect place for kids and pups!

This plant nursery/gardening store/casual zoo is a little funky, but all heart, with all sorts of plants, and everything you might need, including advice, to start your garden, or do a little landscaping. It's a breath of fresh air in the heart of the city of San Diego. Adjacent is Nate's Garden Grill, which serves up delicious food, which you can eat to live music on the weekends. Google Nate's Garden Grill for more info. Altho they've enlarged and paved their parking area, this place is so popular, you may have to wait a few minutes to get a space.
