Free parking close by, free admission, and you can pet the animals, wander around, and take photos without paying extra. They also offer pony rides for around $5, a corn maze for about $3, and a corn cannon where you can shoot corn at targets out in the field. The barn was adorable with all the Halloween decorations, and the pumpkins and gourds were very reasonably priced. We spent an hour or so enjoying everything without spending our entire wallet. The only things we paid for were pumpkins, and our total was still less than what some other places charge just for admission! Such a fun, affordable fall outing with kids. Highly recommend!

We had just missed the 3pm tour for the day, but we checked out the gift shop, picked up some camel milk chocolate, grabbed a flyer for more information and promised ourselves we would come back for the full experience. ​Fast forward one week, we headed up to Julian early for breakfast and made sure we timed it right for the 11am tour. Coming back was 100% worth it; our tour guide was absolutely amazing and the staff were very friendly! We learned that the property is full of character. We got to see the birds, a donkey, turkeys, say hi to the resident cats, and hand feed the lambradoodle sheeps. But hands down, the highlight was feeding the camels themselves. Getting to interact with them up close is a memorable experience and something you rarely get to do anywhere else in SoCal. ​If you're heading up the 78 for pie or breakfast, keep your eyes on the pastures and make time for a tour. We were running a little late due to the Sunday traffic coming from Julian (not to mention the long line for apple pie that we had been waiting in), so we didn't arrive until nearly 3:10pm. Thankfully, that wasn't a problem, and the woman working in the gift shop actually gave us a 50% discount! We had missed 10 minutes of a 30 minute tour (which normally costs $15/person), so I really appreciated this gesture. When we joined the tour group outside, we had only missed the first of three stops, which was the cockatoos. We arrived just in time to feed the "lambradoodle" sheep, which were SO cute! Next was the main attraction: the camels! We got to feed them pieces of apple on popsicle sticks, guided by the tour guide's safety directions. I didn't catch her name, but she was friendly, knowledgeable, and seemed to genuinely love the camels. She answered a bunch of our questions about them too. Afterward, my friends and I went back to the gift shop to ask more questions and buy camel soap, camel milk powder, camel milk chocolate, and camel milk lip balm. There were a bunch of samples of lotions and other skincare products you could try before buying. The chocolate was delicious, like a creamier, less sweet Hershey bar. The property closes at 4pm, so we had about 30 minutes for the gift shop. All in all, this was a fun experience and a great addition to our Julian day trip. The staff were SO friendly and welcoming too. I only wish the tour was longer and that there was a little more to see!

It was really easy to set up the tour through email. My favorite part is that the tour is completely private for your group, making it ideal for a date. The animals are so friendly, and the hour just flies by as you feed and spend time with the animals. The pigs love belly rubs and will come up to you for some snuggles! They don't like being picked up though, but if you stay still with a bucket of lettuce they won't leave you alone! :) We also got the VIP Mini Cows package and the owner, Wes, truly treated us like VIPs. We were lucky enough to be the only ones to spend time with the cows, and we got to feed them and lounge in the VIP area. The farm also doubles as an Airbnb with stargazing, and the suites are named after each of the cows! We were only here for a day, but are planning on coming back for the Airbnb and get the full farm and stargazing experience!

We received a complimentary bucket of greens to feed the pigs. Definitely wear clothes you're comfortable getting dirty in - the pigs love the mud, and they also love cuddling up with you! They have an extensive selection to choose from and if you don't find what you're looking for, they will help you find it. Their prices may be a little higher for some items compared to corporate stores like Home Depot but the quality justifies the price. For some other things, they are actually the lowest price. The nursery is clean and organized with plenty of workers to help assist you with picking something out, answering any questions, or helping you load things into the car. I was in and out within 15 minutes! The parking lot is plentiful so no issues there. For parents of little ones or those who love watching mini trains, they have a huge mini train track set up outside in the back by the bonsai trees.
