Maaaan... I should have trust my instincts not to come here after seeing wannabe teenage food influencers on Tik Tok trying to hype up this place. First red flag... seeing only retirees from World War 2 era eating in. Not that older people cant enjoy food or anything, but when all of the guests dont share any culturally relevant background with the business whatsoever, it might cater to that group... and I was right. Second red flag - the kitchen or food prep area is very questionable. Lets not get into food safety... but am I in a 3rd world country in some random person's kitchen? 3rd red flag - service was rude and vague with responding to questions. I dont think it was a language barrier... Just, felt shady or something. More red flags, but lets just skip straight to the food. It was NOT good. Took like 2 bites, and we were done. This isnt what Thai food normally tastes like or should be. If you dont have a normal asian pallete, maybe youd like it... or if you think Panda Express is really good chinese food, give it a try. I had a job training at the Holiday Inn, and this place was LITERALLY only a 3-4 minute walk away, so of course we had to stop by! My coworkers and I had a little trouble finding the entrance at first because we thought we had to go through the back of the building... only to realize there was a front door that we had completely walked past. LOL. But anyways! Once we got inside, the place was super clean and such a cute little spot for Thai/Vietnamese food! The lady taking our order was so welcoming and sweet. She showed us where the menus were and let us know we could order whenever we were ready, which I really appreciated. The menu was also super easy to understand, so it didn't take us forever to decide what we wanted. Overall, we had a really nice experience, and I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for some good Thai/Vietnamese food! read more

We ordered the #11 and #13, both with chicken. The food was okay.. not bad, but not memorable. It's not entirely clear what specific cuisine the restaurant is going for, I recognized Thai and Vietnamese menu items, so I was expecting the noodle bowl to be similar to a Vietnamese vermicelli bowl. However, it didn't come with the traditional nuoc cham (fish sauce) I was expecting. Instead, it was dressed with a soy-based sauce and a clear liquid that was quite bland. I couldn't really identify the flavor. That said, the restaurant is clean, nicely decorated, and spacious. The staff were very friendly and professional, which I appreciated. Overall, while the service and environment were great, the food just didn't stand out to me, so I don't think I'll be back. read more

I ordered: Thai Tea: you're going to be like ???? when you see it, but no, it's classic thai tea with little to no cream, which I prefer. Same taste. More refreshing IMO. Worth trying. 10/10 would crave and buy again. Lemongrass Pork Banh Mi (picture included, fork for scale): the size was the shocking part. the flavor did most of the talking and really set the tone on why you never should judge the size of something.... anyways, it was really tasty. I almost thought it was a little overbearing towards the end, but I enjoyed it. 7/10. I'd reccomend it as a quick lunch anyone! but I personally wouldn't order again because I'd rather get authentic Vietnamese sandwiches in Portland. Mango Sticky Rice (!!!!): This is actually why I came here. I was indeed 10000000% satisfied. I had the worst craving for Mango Sticky Rice and I saw a picture of it on google from Amon Eats so I stopped by. I wish there was more rice, but I appreciated that the rice was not preheated.... some places premake the rice and wait until people order to heat it up, it seemed like this place didn't have that. I met a friend from church for lunch there today. I was told that the owner was from my hometown, Penang. Great and tasty food. I ended getting the lemongrass chicken with egg noodle with a serving of soup. While my friend had the vermicelli woth lemon chicken. Will definitely be back the next time I am in the Tri-cities area. I was able to meet the owner & his wife, and we reminisced about the tasty Malaysian cuisine we miss back home. read more

We've enjoyed everything we've had here (but I skip the pho since theirs is not as good as the rest of their menu to my tastes). We usually get bahn mi and a noodle bowl and need to try more of the expanded menu! No the bahn mi aren't fully authentic but they are delicious and one of the best offerings of the dish in TC. read more

As a Vietnamese person I had to give this place a try. I have been here a couple of times. Food normally takes about 10-15mins to be ready. Lemongrass pork has good flavor more on the salty side. I never had pickled red onions in a Banh Mi before normally it's carrots and daikon but I love red onions so it didn't bother me. Pho is ok, portion is very small with little meat. Price is more than I normally pay for Vietnamese food. I like the throwback games they have in there to play while you wait for your food. Lunch: our family had a variety of dishes between the three of us. The Pho was "the best", according to our son (who deems himself the ultimate pho critic). My husband had a dish that we forgot the name of (but will definitely be back for more-lemongrass pork with noodles?-you know it's good when you forget to remember the name but sure know where to go to get more!), and I had the chicken fresh rolls. When I say I could drink the peanut sauce...! The drinks we ordered were refreshing and tasty. We had to rein ourselves in to remember to get a photo. SO delicious! The service was prompt, professional and friendly. Being surrounded by gorgeous plants is my happy place. We look forward to going again soon to check out their expanded menu. This restaurant is family owned and operated. Not only is the food delicious, but the presentation of the food is lovely. They take great care in their food and making you feel welcome.
