The site overall was cute and trendy, and the snacks and coffee came in clutch! I'll definitely be checking out more locations.

Great communal work space. Beautiful clean surroundings, lovely views in a prime location,…read morefantastic amenities. Attentive staff always available and helpful. Some highlights...coffee machine with fresh ground beans on demand to make you anything you select Americano to macchiato , kombucha and seltzer, cold brew coffee on tap, kitchen, coffee and tea bar, it seems laundry service is coming soon, putting green, workout center coming, quiet pods which are great because I can leave my office and use them to take a call if needed. Multiple conference rooms available to be booked, in many configurations...huge board room down to a 4 person round table all with a big TV/monitor for screen mirroring and a huge glass dry erase white board. It has a full service communal copier/scanner/emailing machine with lots of office supplies available for use. Fridge, microwave, snacks and drinks available for purchase. It also feels very secure requiring a security measures to access. I highly recommend if you are looking for an office space for a small office for yourself or yourself and a few employees.

The layout is great and works well for groups of different sizes. The service was excellent. I wish I could remember the bartender's name. He mentioned he was new, but you never would have guessed it. He was knowledgeable about the menu, attentive, and took great care of the couples sitting at the bar. To share, we ordered the crab Rangoon mozzarella sticks and the cheese curds. Both were delicious and perfect for sharing. I also appreciated that the background music wasn't too loud, making it easy to have a conversation. The only downside came when the lights suddenly went out while we were eating. I jokingly asked if it was their way of signaling they were getting close to closing, but I was told the lights are on a timer that can't be adjusted. I understand some restaurants aim for a dim, moody atmosphere, but this doesn't seem like that kind of place. It got awkward pretty quickly, everyone around us started wondering if something was wrong or if we were supposed to leave. Also made me further think about the cleanliness of the restaurant, if you can't up the lights after a certain time, that's before closing time- how do you ensure the restaurant is properly cleaned at the end of each day? Again, made the night odd and we left as soon as we finished what we already had instead of ordering anything else. Good to see City Works still here as quite a few spots are closing in Clearfork area. Wouldn't rush back but I do recommend.

My husband and I came here for the first time last Saturday, and unfortunately, it was a pretty…read moredisappointing experience overall. The noise level was extremely high...we literally had to yell just to have a conversation with each other. Service was also very slow. It took about 15 minutes just to be acknowledged at the bar, and close to 30 minutes to actually receive a drink. When I finally ordered, I told the bartender to make her favorite drink. She made something that included raw egg whites (which I later learned is common in certain cocktails), but it wasn't mentioned or explained at the time. A few hours later, I became very sick...vomiting and dealing with what felt like severe food poisoning all night and through the next 24 hours. After looking into it, I suspect it may have been related to the raw egg used in the drink. Just something to be aware of if you're ordering drinks like a whiskey sour or anything that may include egg whites. After getting our receipt (which you need for the speakeasy entry code), we checked out the speakeasy portion, but the vibe there wasn't great either..pretty must the same as the other part of the bar. We ended up leaving within about five minutes. Overall, the experience didn't live up to the hype for us....between the noise, long wait times, and how we were treated, it just wasn't enjoyable. For comparison, the bar next door, Archibald, felt much more welcoming. Maybe regulars have a different experience, but as first-time guests, we were not impressed.
