We find products here that are usually hard to find somewhere else. The staff have been very friendly and helpful and when you have a question, they won't leave you till you find what you needed even if you ask them store manager. I love their butchery department and bakery the best. They always have fresh and high quality products that you can smell it from the opposite side of the store. Overall I have been always enjoying my shopping experience there and I highly recommend them! :)

There was lots of hype surrounding its opening and there were long lines waiting to go in when it first opened. I checked it out a few weeks after it opened and I'm not sure if it is worth the hype. There were a wide variety of local company products that can be bought at this store which is great. However the goal of my last visit was to try their in store made food. The ready made food in store was very disappointing. The Alberta Pork Ribs which they claim to be cherry wood smoked for 18 hours was very dry and salty. The hand cut potato wedges and potato salad were nothing special and got too salty. The classic smashed burger was a normal burger that wasn't worth the price. The large chili was overpriced for the portions that was given and reminded me of the chili you can get at Tim Hortons for less the price. The ready made food was just really mediocre. Perhaps just stick with doing grocery shopping here. Ordering the ready made food here is not a good idea.

There's a Starbucks in house as well . . So grab a coffee and do some shopping. Now Safeway stores are always a bit more expensive than other grocery stores but you gotta look for sales and deals . In the meat department I look for those $x dollars off .. it makes a bit of saving . But the butcher area was pretty bare . It wasn't very busy in the few times I've been there - which is weird considering its location. It's been there for decades and certainly been updated and renovated . As for customer service... It's minimal at best .

The bakery was a bit small in space and products sold out but I did like the fresh produce section. There was some good variety in the meats, especially the steaks and they were on sale too. Glad they had a decent selection of products. Most of what we needed and looking for, we found. I missed a few things off my grocery list but nothing major. The service from the cashier was very friendly and efficient with the bagging of our groceries. The aisles are a bit squishy, as are the ends of the checkouts, and there are no self check outs. The deli section is smaller. Accepting all that, this Save On has a pretty unique selection of more specialty items. For example, the cheese selection is quite good, and there are a number of ethnic sections and selections (like bulk spices, bulk yoghurts, kosher) you don't see at higher end Save Ons. The staff was also quite friendly, although one girl at a counter did mix up my order. Overall I was pleasantly surprised and will be back to this convenient location.
