Delicious food - chicken souvlaki wrap stuffed with ingredients (fries!), and a Greek salad that was so good and topped with a huge slab of feta cheese. Unfortunately, they were out of grilled octopus so we had to change our order from the Seafood Platter, which we REALLLLY wanted. Instead we got the Dip Trio with Flatbread, Spanokopita, Grilled Prawns, and a small Greek Salad. That filled up the two of us comfortably. The flatbread with the dips was fresh and amongst the best I've had! Salad was fresh and those tomatoes were delish. The prawns were flavorful and the spanokopita was direct from the fryer! The entrees and salad came out on a tiered tray which was very attractive. Our young waiter was fine, but could have been more attentive. We'd like to come back for the grilled octopus!

A warm and charming Greek restaurant with fairy lights that give it a nice touch, especially during winter time. During the summer the little garden on the back can make you have and enjoyable dining experience. In terms of the food, I have no complaints. Feels and tastes authentic (to my standards), the moussaka is meaty and packed with veggies, whilst ouzo is a nice digestif (if you like anise). If you don't remember anything else about this review please remember this; try the appetizer made with cod roe, olive oil and garlic. Sublime. Service could improve a little as it is sometimes very welcoming, and sometimes a bit cold. It needs to become consistent, and when this happens they might achieve a wining combination.

The restaurant also has a courtyard which is more a parking lot but it is closed to the public so you won't get random people walking up to your when you are enjoying your meal. As with all London restaurant with an outdoor space.. Maybe consider some blankets when the sun goes down and the wind picks up.. We definitely got the chills as we was sitting there. I ordered the soup of the day which was a lentil soup with a grilles spring chicken and a traditional Greek custard cake to finish the meal. For the three of us with a bottle of wine and teas and coffee it was £26 each . That's a bargain if you ask me. Would definitely recommend this place a hearty place to grab a bite.

Maybe my friend over-sold it and got my expectations up too high, because I was pretty disappointed in this dinner. We were asked if we wanted still or sparkling water. We said still and were brought out a £4.50 bottle. I know it's common to charge for water in Europe, so I didn't think much about it until I noticed that everyone else around us had refillable glass bottles -- free tap water that we were never even told was an option. We were seated downstairs at a large communal table. I don't necessarily mind that, but it was so loud that having a conversation was very difficult. My cocktail was delicious, but so tiny. The wine list was decent -- a good mix of options at various price points. As for the food, it was very hit or miss. The mushroom starter and the pork main dish were delicious. Unfortunately, the two most expensive dishes were disappointing. The prawns had great flavor, but a strangely soft, mushy texture. For me, the flavor made the weird texture okay, but my husband couldn't get over the mushiness of the shrimp and hated this dish. The sea bream was very bland and dry -- highly disappointing for the most expensive item on the menu. We ended on a high note with the affogato dessert (Yum!), but for such an expensive meal, there were just a few too many misses for us.
