This is the worst donut I've had in my life. The texture is like crumbly dry cake and it tastes salty with a wine-like flavored frosting. Nothing strawberry-like or brioche-like about this donut. Both my friends also tried the donut and were wtf I genuinely don't know how this could be sold and recommended to anybody. I would have loved to have found a good gluten-free establishment but this missed the mark terribly.

The cinnamon bun was also dry and bland, though the cream cheese frosting was the one redeeming part, it was delicious. Overall, I wasn't impressed or satisfied with either item. I get it.... we all have bad days, and maybe this is just a job for her right now. But customer service is customer service. It doesn't matter if you're working at a small coffee shop inside the Beverly Hills mall or at Tiffany & Co...people want to feel welcomed. She's young and seems like she has a lot of potential, but she comes across as unfriendly and uninterested. A simple smile, greeting, or even a warmer attitude would completely change the experience. I hope management gives her a little coaching because it would make a big difference. I won't return.

They have grown from a dude making them in his Los Feliz home to now having four locations around town all open 7am-3pm, including this Beverly Grove / Fairfax spot. I loveeee the chewy bagel style so if you prefer the more thick, cake like dry bagels like from the grocery you may be confused by how this can be called a bagel. Welps it is one and it's superior than those grocery store blocks. I've had several bagels at Pop's now with spreads that were all great. On my most recent visit, I had the B.A.C. They have a lot of great brunch items including burritos but what are you doing!? Get something bagel-ish here, fam! The prices aren't bad here and the bagels are even better!
