He was very understanding and stayed in touch with us for the following 3 months ordering supplies, checking on our delivery dates, etc., so he'd have everything ready to install for us. When we finally did schedule the start date, Mike dedicated 3 weeks to our project. He arrived on time, worked all day and stayed in contact every single day to make sure we were happy with that day's progress. Initially, Bailey was responsive to my request to look at a job I had. He showed up reasonably on time, took measurements/pictures and discussed the job with me. When he was done doing that, it was overly apparent he wanted to leave as he just sort of headed back to his truck without saying much. Normally when I have someone come by for an estimate, they are personable and will let me know when I should expect to hear back with an estimate. This must not be Mr. Bailey's normal procedure or he was having an off day, who knows? After nearly 2 months, it's clear to me that Mr. Bailey is not interested in the work I wanted done because he never provided an estimate. That's too bad because the job I wanted him to do was just one of many and I am looking for someone local that can do miscellaneous jobs as they arise. I despise having my time wasted. If I call for the purposes of getting an estimate, it's because I need work done, not for the fun of it. Maybe the job I had was not a big enough moneymaker and I wouldn't be offended to hear that he's not interested but I'll never know because I never heard a peep. Some contractors I spoke with didn't want to bother with this job. One wanted to remove the cabinet and replace it with a new one. David was cautionly optimistic that he could rework a cabinet to yield the clearance required for a new refrigerator. He disassembled the subject cabinet and a neighboring cabinet to accommodate a specialized cutting device being careful to attach it so after remove there would be visible holes/marks. I'm very pleased with David's work and his reasonable charges. I'm now working on the "to do" jobs I will ask David to help me with.
