"No job is too small" for a reason... For a $250 diagnostic fee just to show up, they must be…read morecashing in.... They get a star for being responsive and answering the phone, which some electricians simply don't do. Beyond that, they sent over what I guess was an apprentice and another guy who didn't say much. I called twice, including the day of asking if I needed to go out and buy a plug. They said no both times. They guys came over with no equipment despite me emailing a direct picture of what was needed, and unwilling to drive 3 minutes to lowes to get it. We got charged and they left. After an email complaint they offered to send them back to change a plug without another $250 fee. Since we planned on having them actually do the job, while they were out here we asked for another small job or two (including simply changing an outside floodlight). Here comes more diagnostic fees for their "expertise"... Overall there are more experienced places out there by far, and many that will charge far far less. If you are in a pinch and need to reach someone, "no job is too small" here....

Plow and Property has completed several projects for us on a very old and neglected rental property…read moreand we are so glad we found them. The first job was a vacant house clean out. The house was left in truly appalling condition. The cleaning crew worked and worked and worked so hard and so long I was telling them to stop. They made a filthy house fresh and pleasant again. I would not have thought it could be restored to such a fresh condition. The next job was replacing the old casement windows which were rotted wood frames in crumbly 1950s cement. They not only repaired the window foundation area but other foundation ugly spots as well and put in beautiful new sturdy basement sliding windows. They also re-dug and replaced the adjoining window wells which were undoubtedly the original wells and were falling apart. Regraded the foundation area around the wells and reseeded without being asked. While they were in the basement doing the windows they cleaned a bunch of that up too so it's no longer a horror movie waiting to be filmed down there. Everything they did was simply above and beyond. Wesley Vercosa has returned my many questions and concerns with lots of information and smiles, bless him. My retired husband worked in construction for many years and he is happy and impressed with the work. We are planning more work with them already. We have multiple properties and I think we have found our new property manager.

Pantry Installation and more James was excellent to work…read morewith. He installed a pantry system in a highly unusual closet and did an outstanding job. To prepare the space, he removed old wood pieces that left the wall looking rough. He then mixed drywall paste, repaired the damage, sanded, painted, and installed the shelving. The finished area looks great. Additional Home Repairs Because this is an older house, several other items needed attention. James handled each one carefully and efficiently: * Fixed door slides to add extra security when locking two exterior doors. * Added missing weather stripping to the bottom of the storm door. * Cleaned up torn metal siding beneath the front door. * Installed a hook in the cement wall for the car charger. Above-and-Beyond Support During the move into the new house, the master bed proved difficult to assemble because it had many pieces. When one of James's jobs ended early, he came over ahead of schedule and put the bed together that same afternoon. That level of flexibility and care was truly above and beyond. James will be our first call for house repairs in West Hartford.
