The clinic is busy, but the system and secretaries make things run quite smooth. I'm a rather difficult case, presenting with angle recession glaucoma following an injury I had over 15 years ago. After a botched attempt in changing my eyedrop regiment at another clinic, Dr. Coburn's team accepted me as a patient and asked me to come by ASAP. As bad as the situation was, Dr. Coburn set me back on the right path. When I'm in a critical point in my care, the doctors here are willing to make exceptions. Dr. Queen has placed a beautiful shunt in my eye. I can't see it. Post-op check ups are frequent and I feel comfortable as a patient. Compared to other clinics, communication is quick and much needed emergency visits are taken seriously. Hard to get care this good anywhere.

Dr. Lee is hilarious, forward, and has a great bedside manner. He thoroughly explains my diagnoses and treatment options and always lets me decide how I want to treat my chronic illness without forcing his medical opinion - yet he gives good support and advice. The treatment and care I've received is why I always tell my husband if anything ever happens to me, take me to Methodist for treatment. You feel like you're on Grey's Anatomy with all of the med students, fellows, and residents that accompany him, but you also learn more about your illness/situation. I can't recommend Dr. Lee and Methodist Eye enough to those in need of specialist care.

I've had a consult done at another LASIK location but they weren't as welcoming and thorough as Dr. Mattioli. He sat down and discussed every finding and actually explained it in basic terms from my first consult up until the day of my surgery. His team is outstanding. They specialize in what they do and of course are darn good at it. I rarely leave an office knowing everyone's names or what their personalities are like outside of work, but Laura, Jonah, and Janet make an extra effort to have conversations with you to take the ease out of having a boring eye exam. Can you say team LONGEVITY? They've been with him for over 8 years! Lastly, I have to briefly touch base on his technology for all you tech enthusiasts out there. The practice is fairly new so that also means new equipment and newest laser technology! Your check-in paperwork is completed on an ipad. All of your test data from the eye exams are mapped out on a computer screen so the Dr. can go over and point out what's normal and abnormal within your exam. My LASIK procedure took less than 20 minutes and I was able to see the wall clock for the first time without glasses in 17 years! Thanks Dr. Mattioli - Laura - Janet - Jonah!

This caused my great grandmother to become blind and my grandmother almost lost her vision. When I was referred to Dr. Koch half my zonules were gone and my lenses were actively dislocating. Dr. Koch suggested an approach that was different from the surgery my mom and grandmother received - one that involved putting a new lens in the normal place it would be (as opposed to on top of the iris) and held there by two rings that are sewed to the sides of my eye wall. Dr. Koch saved my vision and he is my hero! He performed extremely complex surgeries on both eyes. Not only is he one talented and amazing surgeons but he also possesses a gentleness and calmness matched by none. His bedside manner is superb! I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Koch and words constantly fail me when I try. He is the best.

I was terrified to have the invasive surgery required to fix the macrostraie, as with any surgery it came with additional risks. Dr. K was patient while I hesitated but took a firm stance on the best approach to permanently fix my problem. He always responded timely to my e-mails filled with questions and never rushed the many office visits throughout the 9 months it took me to gather the courage for the surgery. Dr. Koch is an AMAZING surgeon! He meticulously placed A LOT (too many to count) of microscopic sutures in my cornea at the exact positions to straighten out my cornea properly, a procedure that I believe he invented. At my last check, up he was absolutely delighted (big smile) at the improvement in my vision and the health of my eye. Dr. Koch truly cares for his patients and is extremely passionate about his profession which also involves teaching the students at Baylor University. If you are enduring a vision problem, I highly recommend Dr. Koch! He is the BEST! I am his patient for life and would not trust the care of my eyes to anyone else. Dr. Koch will always do his best and I truly admire his work ethic, skilled hands, knowledge, and intelligence. He restored a quality of life to me that I doubted could return.... which is HUGE. Thank you once again Dr. K! Important Side note: Dr. Koch did not perform my LASIK surgery

Needless to say, this OG walked to the ladies at the front desk thinking to myself "ok Ladies,...impress me." Brother, they did not disappoint! They had a majority of the new patient paperwork filled out (which is usually very tedious) and for the most part just required met to add a little missing info and sign. Next, they walked me to the back of their clean and spacious office to an examination room where two friendly ladies obtained past medical history etc. **Stay with me, Brother, I'm getting to the good part!*** Finally I was sitting in front of Dr. Rania Tabet and my patient/medical information was reviewed. I quickly concluded that Dr. Tabet was undoubtedly knowledgeable, approachable, and professional. Within minutes after observing and providing an exceptionally detailed explanation of all of my acute vision issues needs, she rolled a plan of action for our short term and long term vision health goals. WHO is this woman???!! LOL ***Brother, do the right thang and stay up to date on your vision care and contact the amazing. Dr. Tablet if needed.*** That's all!! Doesn't even matter which extension you pick. Terrible. Stuck with expensive glasses I can't wear and can not reach this business.
