I hate to rate a place so low but this place was not good at all. The food was extremely greasy, the meats were low quality and chewy. The staff was very friendly, but we soon found out why they were the only place with quick availability. Trust me, it's worth getting on a wait list somewhere else with better food. read more

My husband and I are brand new to Eureka Springs and just happened to walk in to Amigos while looking for lunch recently. We love Mexican food and were so excited to see a local place near our home! The food was fantastic (I had cheese enchiladas) and the margarita was HUGE and delicious!! Highly recommend! read more

They where short staffed, we could only see three servers in a packed restaurant with two large parties and we never ran out of our drinks, our food was fast and delicious and our server was very polite and welcoming. 10/10 recommend, we will be going back. read more

Personally,I thought the food was on the spot.I had the Cheese Enchiladas and it was pretty darn delicious. It is coated and filled with quality cheeses. The beans were just right with the rice.If you still have room for dessert I recommend the Fried Che-esecake.I was literally blow away by the unexplainable flavor. The restaurant was cute and the waiter was great. Definitely returning for more! read more

Amigos was great! The free chips and salsa was pretty good and it wasn't long after we ordered that they brought the food out. We ordered a fajita trio and a chicken burrito with queso on top. They both were amazing, especially the fajitas. The meat was juicy with a lot of flavor, the only complaints we had was that the rice and beans were a little bland and the sour cream was kind of sour? Which isn't a big enough deal that I would have given a four star for, but then we got a Tres Leches cake, which was honestly probably two star worthy. It comes out in a plate of milk pretty much wnd looks like a soggy store bought cake. The cake also tasted lemon-y? So it essentially tasted like bland, lemon flavored cake soaked in too much milk with frozen boring icing. The cake was so boring and honestly gross that we didn't even finish it. The service and atmosphere at Amigos was great! Looked like your typical Mexican restaurant and our waiter was quick to check on us and bring our food out. So Amigos is a great stop in Eureka but my main complaint is I would be careful about what dessert you get. read more

If you are looking for some really good Mexican food in eureka springs you have to go to amigos. If you go there you ask for David. He is an amazing waiter. Always on top of it and very knowledgeable. Food is always good and very reasonably priced. Probably the best priced place to eat in town. read more

Beware the steps! Ate here our last night in Eureka and it was good, reasonably priced. BUT! Beware the entrance/exit stairs. They are extremely steep and can be dangerous. As we were leaving a woman fell down from about 4 steps from the bottom, hit her head on the sidewalk, unconscious and bleeding from her head. She came to shortly before the ambulance arrived and left on a stretcher. Take your time and use the hand rails. read more

So I have visited Amigos several times. The the food is great every time I've been there. Every time I've been there I've experienced excellent service. Theb restaurant and restrooms have always been clean. I will continue to visit Amigos in Eureka Springs. read more

Amigos - Mexican Near Me - Eureka Springs, Arkansas

Best Mexican food in town, and as far as the prices go you will not find a place in town that is easier on your wallet than this place.

Great Mexican Restaurant in Eureka Springs. Thanks to Yelp, we tried it out last Saturday. Excellent sauces, food, drinks and server!! Thanks Yelpers!! read more

Good food, good drinks. We eat here every time we're in town. Adult beverages are hit or miss.

Spicy salsa, great tacos/burritos and Stephen Special. Cheese dip is good too. The patio is a great spot as well.

Pretty standard Mexican food. Generous quantities for the price particularly in a tourist town. Like everyone these days they seem understaffed. read more

The service was ok but the food is subpar and the drinks were basically syrup served on ice. There are much better places to eat in the area. read more

Went here for lunch one day and it was everything I hoped it would be. The food had amazing flavor to it as did the drinks. The place inside looked authentic and it was the perfect spot to grab a good Mexican lunch. I will say it was awfully cold in the restaurant. My wife and daughter had to wear a jacket even though it was 90 outside. I would say bring the temperature up a few degrees and you will be good. Thanks for an awesome lunch right on Main Street. read more

Great Mexican food....and music! We sat on the patio with our puppy. Many umbrellas for shade of dining during the day. Staff was great. It was near closing time and we still couldn't be happier with the chips & salsa, cheesy enchiladas, and the burrito dinner. Frozen margaritas were perfect for a warm summer night. We will be back. read more

Amigos - Patio seating - Mexican Near Me - Eureka Springs, Arkansas

Beautiful location in downtown Eureka Springs. We stopped in middle of the afternoon for a late lunch. Service was great and so was the food. My husband and a taco and enchilada, and I had two soft chicken tacos. We both had beer on tap. Salsa and chips were so good and there was a spicy green salsa that my husband enjoyed. Would definitely recommend this place! read more

Service and food were amazing!!! The food came out fast and piping hot! The margaritas were so good too!

Very good! While you do have to pay to park, the lot is just across the street. The menu had ample variety and the prices were excellent. The chips were hot and the queso was good. The patio seating is nice and shaded and they even brought out a water dish for someone who had their dog with them. It looked like there was plenty of seating inside. They had a decent vegetarian section and a kids menu. The waitresses were very attentive and refilled our drinks without prompting. The portions were big and both my mom and I took nearly half our meals in a to-go box. Everything I had was good. I would definitely eat here again and would highly recommend for anyone who doesn't want to spend an arm and a leg on (good) food. read more

It was good food and the prices were even better for the tourist area. Great service for us and the food was great. Salsa was eh but the rest was good for what we have had for the area so far. read more

Amazing food and wonderful wait staff. My family needed to get out of the house, and decided to drive out to Eureka Springs and have lunch somewhere. Due to COVID, we had to take our food to go. First off, the wait staff was very friendly. Very personable, and our drinks and food were out to us very quickly. I had the street tacos (I think it was Maria's tacos?), and they were delicious. My son's kids meal burrito was so big he couldn't even eat it all (and that boy can eat). My oldest son and my wife had the shrimp tacos, and they said they were really good as well. I am looking forward to going back to Eureka Springs and eating inside or out on the patio when we are able to. read more

We patron Amigos every time we visit. Your typical tourist Mexican go to place. They do an excellent job and the food is quality. Prices are fair. If you just want typical Mexican food while hanging out in Eureka, try Amigos. read more

GREAT FOOD AND SERVICE We were in town on vacation from Idaho heard about the restaurant downtown absolutely the most delicious Mexican food we've had in quite a long time . Service was excellent had a cute little waitress named Tayler very courteous ,very efficient ,and checked on us several times refilling our drinks great atmosphere delicious food. Very busy restaurant seams a little short on staff our little waitress had several tables inside and outside. She really hustled her butt to get everybody taken care of she really did an awesome job. Next time we're in town we will definitely eat here again. Thank you Tayler for a great lunch and experience in Eureka Springs. We had Cheese Enchiladas tacos , chicken fingers, shrimp salad .. We have told the people at the hotel we are staying at to go eat there. Down town Eureka was very nice and very clean .. read more

Good atmosphere and we had no wait to get in on a weeknight during dinner rush. The Chiles Rellenos was incredible and the beer selection was good. Everyone in our party enjoyed their food (enchiladas, fajitas, and a shared queso.) The waitstaff was attentive and checked on us often. read more

This is our second time inEureka. It seems since its cold this weekend that there aren't crowds of people. So we walked to Amigos. Not a great review but also not bad reviews on Yelp. Walked in and only about 1/4 full at 7 on a Friday night. Our server was nice but honestly with each server only have two maybe three tables it should have been exceptional service. It was average. We ordered guacamole and cheese dip as an app. Neither was great just average. The limes they brought out for our beers ( 4 of us ) were dried out and had to track down the waiter for more. Our entrees were average at best. Not bad but definitely not the quality of most of the other restaurants here. If you're looking for good food I'd pick any number of the other restaurants. However, if you've got kids or just dying for mediocre food and service...stop in. read more

We tried Amigos while in Eureka Springs and left full and happy and tipsy. Delicious chips and salsa. Beef fajitas were tender and delicious but could use a bit more flavor. Frozen 'rita was refreshing. Service was good. Overall a good experience. read more

This was our final dinner while visiting ES. We were seated immediately and the service was generally fine. I ordered a mojito, which was huge and just okay. The house salsa is AMAZING! It was difficult to not eat it all. I had a ribeye dish, I forget the name, smothered in a tomato sauce and added shrimp. It was also amazing! It comes with rice and refried beans which are bland but typical of any American-Mexican restaurant. I would definitely order this dish again. My husband had the steak fajitas which were good, not amazing, but still good. After getting our food, the attentive service ended. I was so full that I needed to stand up! I stood for at least five minutes trying to get a server's attention. We weren't really in a hurry so not a big deal. Definitely delicious and I would definitely return for that salsa, steak and shrimp. read more

Pizza was good. Outdoor dining was fine. There was a cacophony of tree frogs in the vegetation adjacent to the patio that made conversation difficult. read more

Ok Tex Mex but nothing to write home about. I guess most Americans prefer this to authentic Mexican cuisine, but it is also so simple, boring, and one dimensional; everything is Spanish Rice, refried beans, melted cheese, and meat. But it is cheap. read more

Great food and cold beer!!! Slow service but worth he wait!!! Vallarta platter and the beef enchiladas were the bomb.

oily and not fresh food not recommend it at all. couldn't finish my food from the oil and over cooked food

It's so good we went back 2 days in a row! Family friendly. We are from Southern California and are spoiled when it comes to Mexican food. This is Pretty authentic Mexican food! Food is OK at best looks and taste like it came straight out of the microwave. Salsa tastes like straight tomato paste and came out of a tin can (definitely not homemade). Service is horrible (and no it was not busy and more than enough staff moving at a snails pace). So glad we ordered the $8 lunch definitely would have been really disappointed if I had paid more! Do not recommend won't be back! read more
