Food was great! Ambiance is casual and service was not the greatest. I gave them like 15 mins after eating thinking they would come check on us. I got up and met one person to get us to go boxes. Yes I did still tip because the food was really good. Chips are thin and really crispy. Cheese dip super good. read more

This was some amazing Mexican food. My husband is super picky, and he was over the top happy. We got the cheese enchiladas covered with fajita chicken & vegetables with queso. His commentary started at first bite and didn't stop until we were a couple of miles away. Here's a few things he has to say. 1. I've never seen this dish on a menu. The fajitas on top of cheese enchiladas; it's brilliant! 2. This is the best Mexican food I've had in a long time, maybe ever. 3. I'm happy! 4. The beans are great, the rice is perfect, the queso is the best I've ever had. 5. This is the best meal we've had on our entire two week vacation. 6. Their not chinsy. That's a lot of food! 7. We need to remember this place. I'm in total agreement with my hubby. This is a great place. Another thing, we agreed on was the top notch, friendly, attentive service. We stopped at the restaurant during our vacation in Buffalo National River state park. I think this restaurant might be serving authenticate Mexican food but for sure it does not taste good. 1) The kids menu says kids pizza and they served a mini deep dish bacon pepperoni pizza. Because it looked awful we asked to switch to chicken fingers which looked like chicken goblets. Just gross. 2) The Taco salad was with melted cheese at the bottom. Can you say more gross. I guess I will just stop with that but there is more. I would say. Don't go here but than again they might have some good dishes. So, if you go, best of luck finding them. read more

The service is very quick and the food is just a quick. The quality is great and the building is always clean.

Service is great as usual but the last couple trips in to eat the food has been pretty bland little to no taste.

The Yelp reviews didn't lie, this place is great. Everyone is super friendly and the food was fantastic! I had the Molcajete which was served in a white hot rock bowl and it bubbled for 20 minutes. There was so much that 2 people could have easily split it. My wife got the chicken milanese and again it was great and 2 people could split it. Oh yeah and the salsa was just the right consistency...not watery thin. If you're around Marshall try this place. read more

This place is great. I had just about given up on good refried beans, but they are wonderful here. We were looking for a yummy restaurant after our float trip and this place did not disappoint! It's now called Los Locos. Cheese sauce was great. I got a fajita chicken quesadilla and it was the best quesadilla I've ever had. Seriously...queso in the quesadilla instead of melted cheese. Had to eat it with a knife and fork! Our family was returning from a day on the buffalo river and decided to try this place based on the reviews - it did not disappoint. The wait staff was very friendly, we were served ridiculously fast and all our meals were fantastic. I was honestly shocked how great everything was. I am from Marshall AR, but live in East Arkansas. I am here visiting again, and I just wanted to tell you my last trip we went to lunch at Amigo Locos. Yes they are loco, especially about their food. Endless chips and dip and our plate were so full, that even though the food was fantastic, we had to get doggy boxes. I love the Shrimp Chimichans. My sister always got Chicken. Then she tasted mine. After a long day floating on the river we stopped in with a huge appetite. This place was delicious! My husband and friend got the super burrito, which was HUGE. I had the shrimp cocktail, which was wonderful. The service was excellent. We never had to ask for refills on drinks or chips and salsa. I can't compliment them enough. It all was great. read more

At first glance you may think that it's just another Mexican restaurant that'll probably have great service but be plagued by some mediocre platings at best. But Amigo Locos is anything but mediocre. The service was delightful and not suffocating. The food was amazing. The menu wasn't racked with page after page of combinations but was rather easy to read and navigate. And was only about 3 pages long. Oh and it was quite inexpensive as well. As the atmosphere goes it was what you may expect but it was subtle and not over the top at all. The people who run this place are tip top and are doing a great job. Good enough I figured I'd actually login and leave a review, my first ever. So if you find yourself wondering the roads of northern Arkansas after a day on the Buffalo River don't hesitate to check these guys out. read more

So impressed by this little place!! Was with a group of girls for a Bachelorette weekend floating Buffalo and really wanted Mexican after a day in the sun. We were a little disappointed by the lack of margaritas but the incredible food made up for it!! Portion sizes were more than ample and service was great.
