First off this place is huge! There's so much to browse through, and most sections are fairly well organized, though a few shelves and aisles looked pretty picked over and messy, which I mostly avoided. Still, the selection here is impressive. They carry everything from furniture, purses, shoes, and clothing to appliances, books, CDs, VHS tapes, DVDs, jewelry, electronics, vinyl records, dishes, and toys. My brother-in-law and I spent some time in the toy section and we both actually ended up leaving with some teddy bears. His was only $3, and when he looked it up in the store it was worth up to $70--he was so excited about that find! Overall my personal experience was very pleasant and the customer service I received was great. Most employees seemed friendly and helpful. I did notice a slightly awkward interaction between an older female employee and another customer browsing near the VHS/DVD and jewelry counter. The employee called out "next," which made it seem like she thought the customer was ready to check out. When the customer didn't respond right away, the employee called out louder to get her attention kinda sounded annoyed. The customer looked a little caught off guard and replied that she was just browsing before continuing to look around. It was a bit of an odd moment, but when that same employee ended up checking us out, everything went smoothly and we had no issues. Overall it was a fun thrifting trip and I'd definitely come back again. Next time I want to spend more time exploring the clothing section!

I love coming here, but I'm starting to notice a few things that are becoming frustrating…read more For starters, I wish the store was a bit more organized. I keep finding items in the wrong sections or placed in the wrong size areas, which makes it harder to shop. I've also noticed that a lot of the merchandise seems to be damaged or broken; sometimes it feels like 80% of what I'm seeing has some kind of damage and really shouldn't be on the sales floor. Another thing I've noticed is people returning large amounts of merchandise, possibly online resellers, and taking a long time at the register. What's frustrating is that there can be four registers available, but no additional register gets opened to help keep the line moving. Lastly, why does it feel like the prices are getting so expensive? I'm starting to see items priced at retail or even higher, which takes away a lot of the appeal of shopping here in the first place. I still enjoy coming here, but these are things I've been noticing more and more lately. I really hope the store can improve the organization, quality control, checkout experience, and pricing.

It is easy to see as you are driving by on Colorado Boulevard because many times they have special sale items located in front of their display windows. When I walked in, I was impressed by how well everything was organized for display. They had items that were organized by size as well as sections for both men and women. Prices were easy to find. Many of the items in the store were clothing but they had other items as well. There were pieces of furniture and electrical items for sale. The store is crowded with products to view. I was not pestered or bothered as I came in the store browsing. When I had a question there was a friendly and knowledgeable staff member named V who helped me out. She let me know where the items that I was looking for were located. She also explained that items were constantly changing daily. Items I looked at were in good condition. Revival Boutique is worth stopping in to see what is available on a periodic basis. There were a few people that were browsing for items when I was in the store. I have been by the store when there were many people shopping inside. After talking with V I realized they must have had a special sale in progress. This is a great location near Pasadena City college, and nice residential areas. This area of Colorado Boulevard has a number of other small stores, restaurants and coffee shops. It is a great place to walk. There is usually parking along Colorado Boulevard or on one of the side streets nearby. I will continue to stop in and check regularly for items that I didn't know I need but must have!
