I thought I was coming in for a consultation, and I liked the fabrics and patterns we came up with, but he was disappointed that I was not ready to throw down $4,000 for the custom suit that day. (He convinced me that anything cheaper in his shop wasn't worth my time.) I can see why he likes to close the deal the day of. The more I thought about it, the less comfortable I felt throwing down than much for this suit... I had a few other reasons, too. Anyway, I sent a message to the store the next day, politely explaining why that I appreciated Jerry's time, but the shop wasn't for me. Jerry ended up calling me, and I wish I hadn't answered. He started trying to get me to get his cheaper stuff that had already talked me out of. He was pushy, dismissive of my reasons and all around unpleasant. I think they have some off the-rack suits available, too, and I believe they offer tailoring, but I am no longer interested. He'll probably respond to this and be dismissive again, but those are my two cents. He has a nice assistant. I won't pretend it's bad quality. Still three stars.

Hi all! I rarely write reviews but after my last visit, I have some thoughts. I visited once a few…read moreyears ago, but I'm saddened to say that the quality has gone down and I don't know if I'll be returning any time soon. The shop has a great selection of jewelry and knickknacks, but the clothing is extremely limited - especially for the price point. I'm not even large in size, but all of the clothing ranged from size xxxxxs - medium (yes, an actual piece had 5 x's). Now this really wasn't the problem since I got some jewelry and the owner even comped a broken pair of earrings! Now moving on to the customer service. I understand the owner has some concerns with shoplifters, but the way she now conducts the store is overkill. You have to call to get in, and she locks you in once you're inside and she is the only one "allowed" to let you out. She also was so intense towards me and other customers in the shop that it took away from the pleasant experience I was looking forward to. What I mean by this is: 1) Every item has a "DO NOT TOUCH" or "NO PHOTOS" or some other loud sign that makes it impossible to move throughout the store or explore items. 2) Any time I picked up an item, the owner immediately hovered over me and 'offered' to take it to the front before I was even done looking at it. This happened 3 separate times. 3) The owner actually SHOVED my mother to the side to race to the door and let some customers out since they're locked in and not allowed any autonomy to leave despite MULTIPLE cameras everywhere. Mind you, the owner had on thick platform boots and stepped on my mom's foot and didn't say 'excuse me' or anything of the sort. 4) The owner was extremely hypervigilant and would stare down customers while frowning at them (no joke, just like this: ) all while customers were just looking at pieces (because they were not allowed to be touched). 5) The breaking point was when I had just purchased my earrings and was moving to leave, but the owner genuinely started mumbling to herself and eventually got louder, saying, "No, no, no!! This guy's a bad guy!! NO NO!! HE'S BAD UGHH!!!" and started to duck behind the counter and pull at her hair. This freaked me out because now I'm locked in this shop with her as she's tweaking. I turned to my mom and, at that instant, decided we needed to leave at that very moment. The entire experience was bizarre and it's evident that the owner's experiences with previous shoplifters has translated into something that denies the customer a decent experience. The entire shop's atmosphere was paranoid, stifled, constricted, and anything but decent/relaxed. Good music though. I bid good luck to anyone that dares venture into that cutthroat space.

I was greeted right away at the front desk and immediately amazed by how stunning the shop is. I absolutely loved the layout and overall atmosphere. The only small thing I would mention is that the lighting is a little lacking. You don't really notice it until you visit another bridal shop, but it is definitely on the darker end. That being said, it's a very minor detail compared to how beautiful the space and experience are overall! My associate, Kristina, was absolutely amazing. She truly bent over backwards to help me customize the dresses and try different things so I could envision exactly how they would look with some of my special requests. She was incredibly knowledgeable and experienced, and I never once felt pressured or like anyone was being overly "salesy." It genuinely felt like everyone there wanted what was best for me and wanted me to find the right dress. Their appointments are free and their dress costs start at $1,500 which was a big reason I wanted to visit. Kristina and the entire Luv Bridal team made both me and my girls feel so welcome, comfortable, and taken care of. I'm so glad I chose Luv Bridal for my first bridal appointment and ended up coming back to say yes to the dress.

I was paired with a bridal consultant, Daisy, who was absolutely amazing. She lightened my nerves immediately, got a feel for who I was, and what my vision was for my wedding. I told her what I assumed I wanted and she brought us gorgeous gowns based on all of the information I gave. I did wind up saying Yes to the Dress, (I know, on the first dress appointment too!), and after having just finished up a short dress try on today, I am absolutely delighted and reassured that Daisy and her expert instincts led me to the perfect dress. It has beading, lace, and a corset structure, all in one! The TLDR of my dress try-ons is that the very last dress wound up being my dress. The moment Daisy pulled it out for me to step into, I felt as if I was about to disappoint her with my inability to commit to the dresses I'd tried on so far. This last dress was actually everything I told her I wasn't looking for, so I was already prepared to either keep looking or walk away empty handed. I kid you not, the moment I tried this dress on, I couldn't look away; my smile was out of control and my double chin was out! hahaha! I was seriously stunned and mesmerized at how I suddenly felt so beautiful and truly perfect in that moment. All I know is without the help of Daisy, I wouldn't have found my dress. I have so much respect for Daisy and her fashion school degree! That instinct was so on-point I didn't even know what I was looking for, but she asked about my insecurities or things on my body I don't want to showcase, and she found a dress that complimented my body so well. Overall, I felt so confident and looked after at Luv Bridal LA. I have so much respect and trust for Daisy, who was able to take my ideas and turn it into something so much better than I ever imagined. I never felt out of place, overwhelmed, or insecure while I was trying on dresses. If you're on the fence about trying this place out, keep in mind (1) the parking is free, (2) you can lean on the expertise of a consultant who knows the wedding industry like the back of her hand, and (3) there was never any pressure to purchase anything at all. Includes the socks, tie, and the whole suit. Customer service was fantastic, they are very helpful on finding the right size and let you try on different sizes to make sure it fits you. The lead time for a tailor is about 3 weeks, that's the only down-side... so it is best if you plan ahead of time before your actual wedding date. Located in downtown Santa Ana so there is street parking, but there is a small lot behind the building with only 5-6 spots.
