The wait is way too long. It took a while to place the order and then even longer for the order to come out and it was nothing complicated! They didn't come by to bring us more water. So go with patience. However, the food is so delicious! We found this place by accident and I so glad we gave it a shot. I had spaghetti with meatballs and their sauce is heavenly. I came in on my lunch break for two pepperoni pizzas & a sprite from the take out counter. I sat down on the bench across from the counter awaiting my order. Roughly 5 minutes later i saw a pizza cook place a bag on top of the pizza oven. I thought nothing of it. Some woman came in & ordered after me & she received her order before me. The white girl who took my order even walked from around the counter to hand deliver the other customer their order. I watched the girl reach on top of the oven, pull down the bag, slide it across the counter and tell me my order was ready. I stood up, walked over to the counter and said to her "wow, my order was ready this entire time and i was sitting here?" She started laughing and i said "thats not funny I'm on my lunch break" she proceeded to ask me how long was i waiting as if she wasn't standing at the counter scrolling through her cell phone the entire time, while everyone else is working. I come to this place roughly once a week because its 2 minutes from my place of employment. I will never return to this place. It took me 28 minutes to receive two slices of pizza. Thanks to my coworkers I was able to try Amici's twice. I've tried a sausage pizza, white pizza, chicken wings, garlic knots, and potato ball. My favorites were the potato ball and the garlic knots by far. I'd definitely order those first. I can't speak for pizza. Being from Chicago pizza is different. I've seen pics of Sicilian pizza which have sparked my attention. Maybe next time I will try it. Amici's has been around for a while and now they have a new building. THIS DOES NOT DESERVE A STAR!!!!!! Being a previous restaurant owner I know what posting a review on a business can do - these are people's livelihoods it's not something to joke around about. But I must post this one - I am appalled & disgusted by what I was told by an employee. It's actually a public safety hazard. I ordered a particular pie from this location & when I got home it was not what I ordered. I called back to get this corrected & was told by the employee "that I may have received the wrong order to bring the pie back to the store so they can give it to the right customer or they can put it on the side & use it for someone else" I immediately asked for the owner of the store & got the owners son. I explained the whole conversation to this gentleman & requested my money back. The owners son was very apologetic, advised me that he would of never let that happen, and refunded my order in full. He 100% did right by me. The reason I am posting this is because WHAT IF the owners weren't there??? What if someone brought their wrong order back? I have left establishments & taken my order back to show them it was wrong instead of calling. Just the thought of me getting an order that someone else had in their possession even if it was for 5 mins then returned and God forbid given to me has made me absolutely sick to my stomach. We all know owners aren't there 100% of the time. I know I wasn't able to be! An establishment is responsible for the training of their employees & making sure, especially in the food industry that they know the rules & regulations. read more

After much thought, I would have to say my dinner was abit of disappointment. My wife and I started with the Antipasto salad. Very unimpressive. The dressing they gave us was pure vinegar. Luckily there was garlic, cheese and salt to Doctor up. As for the Pizza, well that was disappointing as well. We ordered the Hawaiian with bacon. All we tasted was salty bacon. We moved to Wesley Chapel last year and have been looking for a great pizza joint. We have passed Amici's a gazillion times and said "hey we should try that place". Life goes on and we had not till today. Today we took our e-bikes out for a run and wanted to grab something we could eat as a picnic lunch near the small airport off Old Wesley Chapel Road. After much brain storming I remembered Amici's which is right there at the turn off. We got the cold house sub,fries and a chocolate cannolli. It was delicious! Sub was fresh, nothing was over used and frankly for that type of sub it was perfect! I suggest adding salt and pepper but that's me. The fries were fresh and perfectly fried and the cannolli was amazing! It was so good in fact we decided to order pizza tonight. We ordered a pepperoni and bacon and the margarita pizza. I was skeptical we got the right pizza till I checked the menu, I should have ordered the Capri, regardless these pies were delicious. Not overly greasy and the crust was soooooo good. My only meh moment was the bacon, as its minced BUT that is a preference thing not a bad on Amicis thing. Great food, great service, clean restaurant and best of all Family Owned. Why 4 stars? Started ordering here for work functions and turned out to be really happy. Pizza is fresh and made to order. Salads are good and fresh as well. Amici Pizza and Deli is heartwarming taste of New York or Philly in Wesley Chapel. The staff is unbelievably friendly and not in that "it's a customer we need to plaster on a smile and muscle through type way," they are genuine. These people care not only about the product, but the customers that enter their sanctuary for the tastebuds. This is always a good sign. An even better sign is the food itself. Their thin crust pizza is amazing to say the least. I have had it with several toppings now and would recommend any. I love pizza, and what makes this place better than most is the fact that they are not only local and a non big chain, but the pizza is not greasy. My favorite item on the menu is not their pizza, but the Strombolis - these people know what they are doing. They are the closest I have ever seen a restaurant come to what my mom and aunt make when I grew up. The best is their Philly cheese steak stromboli- reminds me not only of my mother's, but of Philadelphia. Try this place out. I've been enjoying their delicious pizza for about 10 years now. I'm a huge fan on their dough. Something about it just sets it apart from others. They've recently moved into a new, larger location. We were greeted by a young, friendly host who sat us right away. It wasn't terribly busy on a Thursday evening. However, the new location was very echoing. I did notice a small sign saying they were working on the noise level. From our table we saw the busy kitchen with lots of dough being thrown around. After watching for a bit I realized they were slammed with to-go orders. After searching their menu with too many yummy meals to choose from like eggplant parmigiana, lasagna and such, I went with a calzone. It was delicious as always. I'm not a huge cannoli fan but hear their cannolis are some of the best around. You'll have to see for yourself. read more

I can only comment on the take out service from Amici's seeing as that's what we used, but what a great experience it was! When we went to pick up our order, they were very busy, but despite that they had our pies ready in just over 20 minutes. They took the order quick and efficiently and, upon arriving to pick up our order, greeted us promptly, cashed us out, and even checked our order and showed us each pie to assure that everything was done correctly. This is just a little gesture but definitely means a lot. The pizza is AMAZING and will be our new go to place when we visit my mom in this area from now on. Very pleased with this place! Although we only ordered carry out, our short visit was very pleasant. We ordered a small pepperoni pizza and it was finished within less than 20 minutes. I'm definitely in the minority. We did door dash to try the new Amici bc we heard nothing but good things. I don't eat pizza so I always order sandwiches if offered. The chicken philly was the worst sandwich I've ordered locally. Please go try Woody's and get back to me. The marinara they include which is weird for a Philly doesn't help. They use ground tasteless chicken bits and not enough cheese to be considered worth the $8. Disappointed does not describe it. Considering I have heard this is the best pizza in town - ummmmm ok. Our pizza was fine. It was not blowing my mind. Nothing special at all. Cheese pepperoni thin crust. I did try it to make sure I wasn't being a total anti-pizza brat. The wings were good. But not special. Sorry Amici. I know you're reopening and local and all of that but you have good competition in Woodys and New York New York especially when it comes to sandwiches and pasta. read more

The dressing was just a cup of red wine vinegar. Spiced it up with all the condiments on the table. But then then we discovered these little Italian cookies. Oh my.....I am speechless.
