Upon entering I was ready to give this place three stars. The manager (the laptop always gives it away)sitting at the hostess stand eating screams this ain't gonna be good. I'm truly glad it was much better than first impressions. First of all they brew their own beer which is a major plus in my book. The blonde was outstanding the Mexican lager wasn't bad either. My sister in law ordered mozzarella sticks. Typically not a big fan. But the crust was cooked to perfection with the perfect amount of crunch. The dipping sauce was the perfect complement. For pizza we got the crazy Greek. It was truly one of the most delicious pizzas I've ever had. Just the right combination of olive oil cheese and basil. The bar was a bit loud due to UGA playing baseball. To be fair they do warn you upon entry. All in all definitely worth another visit. read more

Pretty good pizza. Very cheesy. There's not a ton of indoor seating. Outdoors there is cornhole and patio seating. We had a very large group but the staff did their best to accommodate us and kept food and drinks coming out quickly. The parking situation is pretty terrible. The lot fills up quickly and people are often left to park along the side of the street in the grass. read more

Warm beer, below average food, awful table service Our experience was poor. Where to start? The waitress was awful. I've been to Amici in Perry several times. I've tried a number of menu items: pizza, wings, burger, fires, onion rings, salad, and most of their beers, trying to find something good, or at least consistent. Things have gone from marginal to poor. I give up. We were seated and requested water and ordered drinks - I specifically requested - twice to the waitress - that the beer NOT to have a lime wedge on it. After quite a long time, beers arrived and yup, mine had a lime wedge. The beers were lukewarm at best. When there is no head and no condensate on the glass, you know they've been sitting around for a while. No, the water didn't come. The Blondie ale had an off taste, and full glasses were left on the table. Food game in three separate rounds to the table. A first for me. Meals came but no cutlery. When the waitress was passing by, we requested water again as well as cutlery. Cutlery came and then finally water. Kind hard eating a salad with a plastic fork. A small portion of one meal was eaten as it was not very good. I'm sure their dog liked it, as it went home in a takeout box. The salad was not taking home as we weren't sure the salami was not past its due date; it stayed on the table. Things have gone from marginal to poor here. I give up. The pizza is cheesy and tasty. We had the beefeater and it was chock full of pepperoni, sausage and beef. It came out hot and melty. The ranch is indeed homemade and would recommend for dipping. It was a busy night, lots of people when we visited this location. The wait was short for a table, we were greeted politely and welcoming. There was a live band too. Ordered one their signature beers "Lobo loco", could be colder, but had good flavor. Also ordered a cocktail whiskey sour, which was very good if you like sweet drinks. For food we ordered a burger and a Margharita pizza. Both were good, but the pizza can be cooked more and the burger can be cooked less. Other than that it was a great experience and the server was good with us. Place was clean and well organized! Staff well dressed, even though it was pijama night for the staff. Really good place for pizza, calzones, or wings-- but don't expect a brewery. Instead this is a restaurant that brews beer and serves a couple of other craft beers. While the service and atmosphere are excellent, the four beers that they brew are honestly a little boring, and kind of taste a bit like your neighbor got a kit for Father's Day and is on his third batch brewing and bottling in his garage. I first got the buffalo chicken dip as a appetizer and it wasn't good but I thought that it was just the appetizer so me and my friend waited on are pizza just for it to be just as nasty if not worse the pizza crust was wet and when we picked it up it fell apart. I visited this place for the second time yesterday. They had a nice ambiance and it was Wednesday (Karaoke nite). It was also wing special night so I ordered my 6 wings with Hot Honey Garlic sauce and they were really good. (Well worth the sale price of $9. But I can't see the regular price of $14 as being something I would be willing to pay). Our bartender was attentive. And I tried one of their house brews that was alright. What got the low rating was being charged $8 for a slice of pizza!!! (It was $4 per slice for cheese pizza and another $4 for the sausage, onion and pepper toppings). Their pizza is good but not good enough to charge that much. I will find it hard to justify another visit at those prices. However, they had a pretty good crowd. An overall great experience! The food and service were spot on! The calzone is a personal favorite. But, if you opt for pizza, the slice is the way to go! Got an order to go. They were very up front that it would take 40 minutes or more because they were super busy. I ordered and came back to pick it up. The pizza was perfect!! The pizza was really good--the sauce has a smoky flavor and the crust was thin but the edges were big. I didn't feel stuffed after eating. We will return for the pizza. Sam waited on us and was attentive and friendly. He seemed like he enjoyed his job. It was a Friday late afternoon so it was busy but the staff did well seating everyone in a timely manner. And it was noisy. But for me, that just made the place seem more welcoming . The price for a large half veggie and half pepperoni with four diet cokes was very reasonable. Surprisingly so.
