About an hour after that, he had not only fixed the problem, but also took a look at the rest of our plumbing system and gave us thorough instructions how to upkeep it ourselves (and therefore save lots of money in the process). Speaking of money, he was upfront about costs of service, so there weren't any unexpected or hidden fees. Best of all, he was respectful to us, our home, and our appliances. Christopher went above and beyond to help us on a stressful Saturday morning - highly recommend his services for anyone who needs plumbing assistance!

I contacted other companies who would not be able to come out until the next morning. I contacted 24 Hr Drain Cleaning & Plumbing and Chris came out within 1 hour. He explained the situation to me, what he believed the issue was and what needed to be done. It took about an hour and he resolved the issue and had the drains unclogged and functional again. Chris was very professional, timely and great with communication. I highly recommend his services and am very grateful that he was able to help us so quickly during a very stressful situation and so close to a holiday.

I reach out to Michael Russo Jr. Plumbing and Heating to do the job. This is where it gets good. I don't know who these plumbers were but they need to go back to school or give up their plumbing license. Since they replaced the toilets I have had a competent company (McLaughlin Plumbing) come in a correct the mess they made. They could not believe what a terrible job they did. I paid them (Russo) $1450.00 and so far to correct the mess they made, I've had to spend approximately $1,000.00. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. They are the worse.

Contacted a bigger plumbing contractor (begins w/ "Cr") a few weeks ago because we were desperate to find anyone to come who we hadn't dealt with in the past. They came and did a service on the boiler, which of course was running fine at that time, but then proceeded to go off again 2 days later. They did come back, but at that time it was running fine again (at least they didn't charge us for that visit). So the week before this record cold it really starts cutting out, so I called Lochinvar and their service branch gave me a few local names. By chance I called Russo first and they said they could be here the day after. Woke up to house @ 52 degrees that morning. Anthony showed up and assured me he would get it fixed, and proceeded to go through with me all the possible issues before replacing the fan unit that was most likely culprit. Couldn't have asked for a more professional and knowledgeable technician. Our only regret was that we hadn't found them earlier. What an immense relief to not have to worry about losing heat on the coldest day of the year!

Ryan was great, tried to keep my carpets/bathroom clean as much as possible and was patient in discussing my options and answering my questions. Surprisingly was able to get an appointment for install on Monday. Jared was also great. Definitely appreciate the small details and concerns to keep the carpet clean like hand carrying both the old and new water heater up 2 flights of stairs. Between the quick response/scheduling time, clean workmanship, and fine attention to detail, happy to say the leaking water heater experience felt less chaotic with 128's help! Total turnaround time, Friday 11pm to Monday 4pm hot water up and running!!

I called 128 Plumbing about one cracked drain pipe. I was told my entire house needed to be…read morerepiped. The estimate (#435094323) was $30,275 to demo every wall and ceiling necessary, disconnect first- and second-floor bathrooms, toilets and sinks, and replace the main stack. That was presented to me as the only option -- no alternatives, no phasing, nothing. And it did not include the roughly $6,000 I'd need to close the walls back up and reinstall fixtures, or the ~$400 roofer I'd have to hire and coordinate myself. Their own estimate puts the hole repair on the customer in writing. All in: nearly $37,000. Meanwhile my first-floor tenant was told she couldn't use her bathroom or her kitchen. When I hesitated at the number, I was told that at least if I sold the house I'd "have retail value." That's the line that made me stop and get a second opinion. Thompson Plumbing came out, found the actual leak -- old hubbed cast iron serving the kitchen -- and repiped it. $2,995. My final invoice was $3,420, and that included an unrelated frost-free silcock I added on. My toilet was fine. My kitchen sink was fine. My tenant's kitchen and bathroom were fine. Not one wall was demoed. Same house. Same leak. Ten percent of the price. I'm not going to speculate about why the two assessments were so far apart. I'll just say this: if 128 Plumbing tells you your house needs a $30,000 repipe, get a second quote before you sign anything. I nearly didn't, and it would have cost me thirty-three thousand dollars I did not need to spend.
