My cortisol levels were all over the place and when I had the ultimate infusion test for my cortisol, it tested normal. However, due to a brain injury, my pituitary gland is gone. Another endocrinologist saw me on an emergency basis before we realized I could only see Dr. Kaur through my insurance. Her backlog was so long it would take me at least six months to see her. I was so ill and lost 80 pounds. I had chronic fatigue and was hardly able to shower myself. I was vomiting and had diarrhea and was in terrible trouble. I was finally able to get the infusion test and it showed that I did not have Addison's, but my neurologist, my primary care doctor, and my pain doctor were incredibly concerned. Not to mention my family and friends. Once my ACTH test came back normal, before even seeing me, this doctor said there was no reason to see me and never saw me at all. I called back and said look, my pituitary gland is gone. Initially, it was read as a tumor in my brain and later it was clarified that it just doesn't exist anymore. She still refuses to see me... I have requested that I see any other doctor for care as a cash patient, but the cost for Endocrinology care is too expensive and they refuse to see me. I have no direction on what to do. I don't know if I should get a Covid shot or the flu shot. I go into adrenal crisis and I become sweaty unable to move and I have two adult children living with me now to care for me. I explained to her that I am on depression medication because of having to have a hysterectomy, and the reason for the blood sugar being where it's at is because of the med. I even explained that I've had pre diabetes before because of being on a depression med. She replied to me that she doesn't think that's why my blood sugar is high and placed me on medication to lose weight. She also kept cutting me off while I was speaking. "NOT COOL!!!" My weight was at 154, and she told me that I'm overweight. "WOW." I am now on a lower dose medication for depression and the pre diabetes is not there anymore. I pray that she didn't treat anyone else like she treated me. "VERY RUDE!!!" I am now seeing a different doctor who understands depression medication and what it can do to the blood sugar levels in a woman's body.

I called my health insurance and they said her office re-billed ME because THEY were late to file the claim to my insurance, and they refused to pay since they filed it too late. So instead, they kept billing me! It is scandalous! After 2 hours on the phone with my health insurance, I was finally relieved to know I wouldn't have to pay for their office error!

So today I was ten minutes late because of holiday and construction traffic and was told, Sorry, you have to reschedule." I will NEVER return to this office again nor will my husband.
