But the only difficulty I would say was communicating with his team, if Frank wasn't present, because of my broken Spanish. But Frank was able to resolve any issues and concerns that we had. The work that they did was great! Our bathroom is beautiful!

Back in May/June 2025, I hired Handy Gentlemen for interior work on my house. It is now…read moremid-September. David, the owner, seems like a nice guy, and he did a good job replacing the tiles on my bathroom floor, and he (mostly his assistant) did a lot of painting, which on the whole looks good. But see below... The big issues were what I discovered after he was finished and had left: fresh paint stains in multiple areas, including the wood floor of my 19th century house and even furniture - which I cleaned up. Splattered paint near the ceiling of my kitchen which still, three months later, has not been patched, paint stains on my oriental rug, a major purchase 40 years ago, etc. David said he would pay for the rug damage, and I only asked for 50% of the very reasonable $175 cleaning cost. David told me to bill him via Zelle, something I said I'm not sure how to do. He already has my Zelle information, since that's how I paid him for the work. But after messaging him and emailing several times, he has not responded. And I still have paint streaks on the wall and an unpaid bill. So I can't recommend Handy Gentlemen. I think part of the problem is that David is under-manned and a bit overwhelmed, but not responding to my messages is unprofessional.

We were astonished at the quick turnaround and grateful since we are looking to put our house on the market in the very near future. When Jay arrived with his team member, Juan, he re-explained what the project would entail and then Juan got to work. Juan ensured everything was covered and protected from the drywall dust/paint drips and worked extremely efficiently. Within 6 hours, our project was complete. So many contractors have unclear paper contracts, if they have one at all! The process made everything really easy and efficient. We will definitely be using them again!

Our project consisted of extensive drywall repairs after trim and chair rail removal. Painting, Wallpapering a 25ft stairwell, stairway railings, door painting and of course ceilings and trim. The photos don't do the job justice as we had work upstairs, downstairs, and even a repair job to the side of the house from water damage. Steve's employees were extremely skilled, fast, neat perfectionists. They weren't beginners or summer college students. They were very experienced at what they do. The price stuck at exactly what he quoted even though there were some adjustments here and there. The wallpaper job was exemplary and we were very particular about that aspect because it was custom wallpaper and very expensive. Steve is not a pressure salesman and he just does what he says he's going to do, and the work was perfect and fast. I don't think I'll be getting 5 quotes for our next project since I think we found the best around! Thanks Steve and to all your guys too!

For us, Eddie finished some framing and backing for the drywall that needed to be done. His drywallers came a few days later and hung 50 sheets of drywall in one 5 hour stretch. We were very impressed. When they returned to do the finishing work, they patched and blended everything nicely. The job was projected to take 6 up to six days and they were able to finish in 4. The finished job looks very clean and professional and we are very happy we found them. Not knowing who you are working with can be a bit nerve racking, but working with JFC drywall was both a pleasurable and professional experience.

One quoted an outrageous price, two quoted half the figure, and two promised to come out for a quote and never showed up. All had a number of poor reviews of their work on line. I held off getting the work done. This spring I contacted Pro Coat. Dave Marion quoted a fair price for the job, and warned me that he couldn't guarantee the old botched finish could be completely removed. He said his crew would test a small area and only if they could satisfactorily clean it, would they do my entire deck. His men arrived within the time frame Dave had estimated, the test cleaning worked perfectly, and within the day my deck was stripped, brightened and looking like new. A few days later Pro Coat was back and the deck was stained in an afternoon. Great care was taken to cover the side of the house next to the deck so no over-spray could get on the siding or brickwork. The yard was left immaculately clean. Alfredo did a great job of evenly and thoroughly applying the new stain to the inside and outside of the deck, despite the surrounding hedge making it difficult. My deck now looks like new, and the results were far better than I thought could possibly be achieved. Any future work I need will be done by Pro Coat, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services to anyone.

He spent time with me on a call explaining the two types of sealant and left me feeling far more informed about the work they were doing than anyone else who's previously done similar work. They moved all the furniture on and off for us and made it a smooth and easy process. Would highly recommend and will use them again when the deck requires re-sealing. Given that most contractors aren't the most reliable I didn't expect him to respond or show up that soon but lo and behold he rang the doorbell around 6:00 p.m... better yet, he was ready to do the work. We went from taking pictures and posting it to Yelp to getting the work done in full a few hours later. Vladimir was awesome. He worked efficiently and did a great job on our work! The picture with the numbers was what was posted to Yelp - four can lights reduced in size from 6 in to 4 in. Two of them moved to match the centers of the cabinets better.
