I cannot praise Daniel enough, I was so lucky to have found the contractor I needed!! He came out and gave me a very fair quote to have my kitchen cabinets painted professionally, and boy he did not disappoint!!! He uses only top quality paints when he sprayed so my kitchen cabinets are a beautiful shade of white exactly as I wanted. He also gave me expert advice while doing the project (adding rope lighting above the cabinets) so I hired him to do some side projects while onsite and again was super impressed! Daniel, a sincere thank you for being professional and even kind while I was feeling overwhelmed, you helped immensely. I certainly will be hiring him in the future and all of you needing a professional (he does WAY more than just painting) please consider contacting him, you won't regret it. Thank you Daniel!!! read more

I would have 6 stars if I could! Daniel painted several rooms in our home and he did an amazing job. The estimation was quick, he was on time, and everything looks great. He also went above and beyond by filling in cracks below our windows, painting the baseboards (out of courtesy), and always doubled checked before unplugging the internet connection. We are so incredibly thankful and will definitely go back to him for other painting needs! read more

From start to finish Daniel was a professional I would immediately hire again and you can surely end your search for a painter right here. I invited a few painters out and Daniel stood out above the others when providing an estimate. You could tell by his suggestions, the things he pointed out, and the questions that he had asked.. that he was going to provide quality service. While his pricing was very fair, he was not the cheapest, nor was he available the soonest... I still confidently chose him for the work I needed and I am extremely pleased with my decision! I had my entire interior painted in a week. Nearly every square inch and he could not have done better. He even stopped back after he was finished correct a couple of things that were outside of his control.. at no extra cost. He made it a point to guarantee satisfaction. His communication, promptness, and friendly demeanor is something that every contractor should offer but it's unfortunately hard to find most times. Thank you for the quality of your work and I will surely reach out for / recommend your services in the future. read more

Daniel was super responsive and professional. He came in person to look at our project and give quotes. We had 2 skylight windows in our bedroom that we wanted closed off with drywall. As you can see in the pictures, they will filled as if never there! Daniel took time to insulate and paint the whole ceiling to even out. In addition, I had Daniel add an accent wall to our nursery. I showed him a picture online and he replicated it exactly! It's beautiful! We're so happy with both rooms and look forward to hiring Daniel again for future projects! read more

Daniel and the DC&T Painting team are and were real professionals. Daniel and his team arrived every day they said they would and arrived and at the time they said. The cabinets finish is great! They did our kitchen cabinets and out master and guest bath vanity's. They also painted several rooms and ceilings. Along with tons a patching work including a huge crack in our ceiling. Each project DC&T handled the right way. Not taking a short cut in any part. I think we where really lucky to find DC&T. The Yelp algorithm was responsible for introducing us to DC&T. Thanks Yelp! And of course Thank you Daniel. Daniel took this project from beginning to end and was very detailed in picking top quality materials along with seeking perfection in the finished product. Thanks DC&T and Daniel for the great Kitchen and Painting support!!! read more

We needed some drywall replaced ASAP and Daniel smashed it out of the park with both responsiveness and how great the job was. He gave us an easy to understand quote and the project came in exactly there. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him for a painting or drywall job and plan on having him come back to paint down the road. read more

Wow. DC &T Painting is fast, quality and well priced. They gave us a free quote that was competitive to the other painting companies we contacted. Daniel has worked in my building before, so I got a recommendation from someone who had previously hired him for their remodel project. He painted and wallpapered my condo. I couldn't have asked for a kinder, more tenacious, and talented painter. His expertise and years of knowledge were invaluable, as well as the care he takes in executing tasks. In addition, he is responsive to requests, honest, and one of the nicest men I have ever met. His support on my project and the repairs he did were of great benefit to me and in completing my project. read more

Daniel is a true professional. My realtor had recommended someone else to paint my condo, but they were unavailable and I'm so glad they were. Daniel went above and beyond by advising me on the colors that would look good and the things that to be done that I didn't catch. He also did some electrical work for me and is an excellent handyman. My condo looks like it's brand new and I couldn't be happier! I would recommend this company to anyone! You will not be disappointed. read more

PLEASE SEE THE PICTURES. All are examples of what DC and T considers finished work. My review: Our experience with DC and T has been horrible. Initially, we found Daniel to be friendly and punctual. And, he was willing to fix some additional problems we found along the way. We soon discovered that his work was either sloppy or absent. We kindly suggested there were mistakes that needed to be fixed. The mistakes were either blamed on his team or blamed on our house. He even tried to convince us that the inside of our windows were not wood. We asked him to come back to fix the problems and he showed up, complained about working for free, left early, and promised to return later. We requested a refund for far less than we paid ( less than 20%) and he again said he doesn't work for free and offered $500 in return. Most of the job will have to be redone. We welcomed Daniel and his team into our house and got to know him. He was kind to our children and dog. Then, he completely ripped us off. GB PS. I've never posted a negative review on Yelp. Notes: -Every interior room needs to be redone and half of the exterior work. -Windows that previously opened no longer open. -Drips and splatters of paint and stain are in the hardware and on the woodwork and walls. -He did not finish patching or painting our basement wall. -Exterior paint is not complete, the painted parts are already peeling or bumpy and there is paint all over the glass. read more

I contacted several places for painting quotes, Daniel got back to me right away to schedule a consultation. He was prompt to arrive for said consultation. He was kind, polite, respectful, and an overall pleasure to work with. He was very reasonably priced and I couldn't be happier with the work he did. Even though it was a small job he still took his time and made sure everything was right. I highly recommend Daniel and will definitely use him again. read more

Daniel was quick to respond and was flexible about scheduling. He arrived on the day of our appointment early every time and ready to go. He gave us a free quote for the work needed which was competitive and aligned within our budget. Not only did he do a fantastic job patching up the flaking on our bathroom ceilings, he also went out of his way to fix our hard to close front door and added caulking around our tub without any extra charge. He was friendly and one of the easiest people I've had the pleasure of working with. I'd give 10 stars if I could. read more

Daniel did a great job on my kitchen cabinets at a fair price. He was very professional and he even helped me out with some pointers (and gave me some high heat paint) on another smaller paint project I was attempting to DIY. I highly recommend DC & T! read more

Always dependable and on time. Conscientious and thorough. Clean, neat painting with some additional repairs of base board, holes and drywall repair. Daniel removed all the old window blind hardware from the concrete ceiling and filled in all the holes and patched everything immaculately. Made great recommendations about the kind of paint needed to avoid fumes and cleaned up everything afterwards. Minimal disruption to my daily routine while the the job was ongoing. read more

DC&T Painting is extremely professional and dedicated to quality. Dan is very interested in making sure a job is done as if it's his own home. Dan skips no details and is very skilled at even the toughest areas, making each look good as new. Our kitchen cabinets look like new now, and they are 32 years old! Dan is so skilled at getting that highly desired smooth cabinet finish that is seen on brand new cabinets! Dan is also very professional. Our biggest proof is when we offered him 100% payment tho we depended on others to finish project parts before Dan could finish touch up work. No worries there: Dan showed up on time, as promised on the scheduled day to finish. That's rare these days!! Further Dan always responds to calls and texts same day, and usually right away or after a short time. He's very dedicated to staying in communication, to avoid misinformation or misunderstanding. He even texts when traffic leaves him running behind a mere 10-15 minutes. We highly recommend DC&T Painting for all of your project needs. Dan is the ultimate professional with skill and expertise that's first rate, five stars. read more

I could not be happier with DC & T Painting. I originally had Daniel come to my house for a quote on some furniture that I wanted painted. We began to speak with him about other projects that we wanted done, including a chair rail and shadow boxes in our 2 story foyer. We not only hired him for the furniture project which will be done in March, but also for the foyer project which is now completed. My husband and I are so impressed with Daniel's work, we recommend him to everyone. As a person who was in the painting industry for over 15 years, I am probably one of the worst customers a painter could have. I am so pleased with Daniel's work and work ethic. Daniel is prompt, considerate, clean and very meticulous and all of it shows in the finished product. He went above and beyond what we expected. We are very excited to begin our furniture project next month. read more

We had Daniel do some repairs and paint our garage during the summer of 2020, and were very happy with it. We hired him again to do some trim painting around doors for the summer of 2021. Dan did an exceptional job. He painted all the rooms in my house. He was very professional and arrived on time every day. When he was running late one day, by 10 minutes, he called to let me know. I live in Glenview and wanted to have my ugly, outdated maple cabinets painted. I was hoping to just make the kitchen brighter. After Daniel painted the cabinets, it looks as if I purchased brand new cabinets. Daniel needed to fix several cabinet doors that were severely cracked. Being the daughter of a European carpenter, I assumed that old world craftsmanship no longer existed. I was absolutely wrong. Daniel not only has the skills but the patience to do an extraordinary job. He showed up when he said he would, he did what he promised to do, and the job site was always clean. Daniel is a perfectionist and takes great pride in his work. He pays close attention to every detail. Daniel is the only person I will call in the future. You cannot go wrong with Daniel from DC & T Painting. I have a friend in Arlington Heights who hired Daniel on the spot after seeing what he did in my house.
