I would have 6 stars if I could! Daniel painted several rooms in our home and he did an amazing job. The estimation was quick, he was on time, and everything looks great. He also went above and beyond by filling in cracks below our windows, painting the baseboards (out of courtesy), and always doubled checked before unplugging the internet connection. Daniel was super responsive and professional. He came in person to look at our project and give quotes. We had 2 skylight windows in our bedroom that we wanted closed off with drywall. As you can see in the pictures, they will filled as if never there! Daniel took time to insulate and paint the whole ceiling to even out. In addition, I had Daniel add an accent wall to our nursery. PLEASE SEE THE PICTURES. All are examples of what DC and T considers finished work. My review: Our experience with DC and T has been horrible. Initially, we found Daniel to be friendly and punctual. And, he was willing to fix some additional problems we found along the way. We soon discovered that his work was either sloppy or absent. We kindly suggested there were mistakes that needed to be fixed. The mistakes were either blamed on his team or blamed on our house. He even tried to convince us that the inside of our windows were not wood. We asked him to come back to fix the problems and he showed up, complained about working for free, left early, and promised to return later. We requested a refund for far less than we paid ( less than 20%) and he again said he doesn't work for free and offered $500 in return. Most of the job will have to be redone. We welcomed Daniel and his team into our house and got to know him. He was kind to our children and dog. Then, he completely ripped us off. GB PS. I've never posted a negative review on Yelp. Notes: -Every interior room needs to be redone and half of the exterior work. -Windows that previously opened no longer open. -Drips and splatters of paint and stain are in the hardware and on the woodwork and walls. -He did not finish patching or painting our basement wall. -Exterior paint is not complete, the painted parts are already peeling or bumpy and there is paint all over the glass. read more
