Other auto shops insists on selling you parts (so they could make a profit on the parts too). But I'm super picky about what parts are installed on my cars, and George's actually encourages me to bring in parts that I sourced myself, to spare them the trouble of searching for hard-to-find pieces. This is a winner in my book! I noticed the recent construction at the site, was wondering when would George's reopen. A couple of days ago I saw that the snack shop opened, so I went in to check. The clerk told me it's a new business there now, they don't yet have a phone number, it's currently just a gas station (no longer Valero) and snack shop, the auto repair section is closed at this time. He didn't know if George's would reopen elsewhere. Suggesting that I return another time to ask the manager as he might know. I haven't done that yet, but the sudden change makes me sad. If anyone from the old team reads this, I'm the guy with the Audis. If you r shop moved elsewhere, I'll remain your customer wherever you go, as long as you're not too far away. I'm sure other customers feel the same. So please let us know!

I paid the bill but with the discount of a hundred dollars 377 dollars I paid to cover the charges still pains me .the invoice reflects o propane delivered. the handwritten amount on top of my receipt is fraud. in the same handwriting it says mailed. the technician does not mail out bills. I kept my word by paying the bill to keep off any adverse collections on my credit report. the fact remains that I was disregarded as being a disposable customer after seven years of loyalty. technicians came took my propane regulator rendering my tank useless. the tank I have I own . lease fees were charged and paid for for six of seven years. $67 a year for a regulator. which was the main reason I started service with mountain propane. very disappointed with the business model. I would not recommend getting involved with the manager Patrick he is out of his mind. time to be put out to pasture Patrick. I do prefer to leave positive feedback. Matt was most helpful in trying to resolve our differences I know he is only going by what Patrick insists is true. To this day small claims court is my resolution. Mountain propane has left me bitterly out of money for service not rendered. The first red flag should have been the amount said delivered was 114.6 gallons in my 115 gallon tank. Which is impossible to do. 90 gallons is maximum capacity if I was empty which I was not. Have better communications with technicians ,don't allow written amounts on invoices from management and faith in customers and you might be able make it in this small town.

Van hard to use for older person! 5 stars for the shop, but 0 stars for the van!! Service was…read moregreat. Getting and returning the van was painless and quick. The van served its purpose, but it was awful to drive--not mechanical issue, just rattling and noisy and accelerator was difficult to get used to: it would take off quickly without my foot on the gas, but when I put my foot on the gas, it wasn't smooth and I had to push it in a ways to get up above 20. It was helpful that the shop allowed me to park my car there while I had the van out for the day. Location was close to both starting point and destination. The night-time drop box for keys was also really helpful. On the advice of a friend I also bought moving boxes (10 small ~1.5'x1.5'x2'=~$15) and packing tape (brown paper-looking but really strong and smooth-highly recommend!, large roll ~$6) there and both were superior to what my company gave me to move worksites and fairly cheap. I'll definitely buy the tape again for all moving/shipping purposes! My biggest complaint is that the description of the van, and the clerk verbalized this too, said "low entry" or something like that that meant that it was easy to get items into the van without a ramp. In fact it was quite high!! I had a tall mini-fridge that was my main concern, and the lowest point of the van was about as tall as the fridge, about 3-4 feet!! I also had such a hard time getting myself up into the drivers seat! I'm a 58-year-old woman with not weak but not strong upper body strength, and I really struggled to get up and out of the cab! Then when I started to put stuff in the back, I realized it would be nearly impossible for me to climb in there, especially without handholds!! This should be stated, or better, rent steps or something to help us older, weaker people out!! I was lucky I had a young person helping or I would have never accomplished it! When I first got the van, I noticed the back end was high and NOT LOW, so I immediately went back to change it for a truck with a ramp, but then when I tried to get into the drivers seat of the truck, I absolutely couldn't!! So I went immediately back and exchanged it back for the van, thinking that would be much lower but it wasn't by much!! Getting the mini-fridge in turned out to be the least of my problems! Based on this experience, when I need to move again, I will either NOT take stuff that doesn't fit in my car, move everything myself by car, or hire movers, but I WILL NOT be driving a U-Haul truck myself again unless you make the drivers seat and back end easier to get into!
