First of all, the manager there shouldn't manage any type of business where he has to be in contact with the customers !! I rented a piece of equipment and the tire went flat one hour after starting my project. This was not caused by miss use or negligence. So when returning it, I asked for a credit to rent the same equipment the following weekend. I was told that the only way I could be credited is if I took the equipment that day only. So long story short, I got charged for the full rental of the skid steer and a compactor and the trailer. a $600 lesson on what company is honest and which has a unprofessional piece for a manager? They will lose out of probably 5-10k over the next five years from me! and a few contractors I know that had issues with the management long before my issue have already, or considered not using their services anymore!

They bring towels, padding, and other items to make sure that not a scratch occurs or a drop of water or soil touches your appliance, floors, etc. Prices are very reasonable. If you already have a new bulb, screw, or hose on hand they use yours or ask before charging you for a part or supply. And when they supply a part, they explain why. Saving a few pennies on old washing machine hoses is never a good idea, and they tell you why. Today we needed 2 appliances repaired. I ordered an incorrect part, so they would need to make a 2nd repair visit when the correct item is received. And there won't be a second second service call charge for that visit! UNBELIEVABLE! The error was mine, and still they are saving me money ?! Wow. They not only service appliances, they sell them. They always tell you when you don't need to buy a new appliance and how they plan to help you extend the life of an existing appliance. And they are right there with recommendations when it IS time to get a new appliance. Quality of appliance repair? Perfection! They fix it right the first time. Training of their staff? Top notch! Newer personnel are closely monitored and encouraged. The work is double-checked by the more experienced. Range of services offered? Always exactly what I've needed. Ease of scheduling in an emergency? They have provided same-day service when needed. They check appliance Model numbers at scheduling so they anticipate repair parts possibly needed and complete most repairs in a single visit. I can't remember a time when I've waited more than a few days to be scheduled. Definitely no wait of weeks to be scheduled. Johnson Appliance Service provides exactly what their aged business card magnet on my fridge says: "In-home specialists" and "factory authorized service and parts for all major brands."

As a potter I ship a lot of heavy and fragile pottery and many times I have them do it all: wrap it in bubble wrap, nest it in "peanuts", and then put that packed box into another peanutted box, insure it and ship it. Expensive? Well, yea! as this is a union operation, but this particular crew cares, takes care and has my confidence. The shipping part is just one part of it, but getting it into the system and delivered without damage is art form. Plus these are nice people, locals, who care. Friendly and will go the extra mile to call you with the tracking numbers once the packages are picked up and given a number. And they have lots of supplies, even greeting cards and offer mail boxes for rent. A full-service shop that also faxes. Good folks, good services.

We had major problems with Wheaton Worldwide who moved our household into storage at Merchants... They did not stretch wrap our fabric and leather furniture as advertised, and as a result we had a lot of damage to those furnishings. From that point though it was a very good experience with Pam and her staff. Movers and handlers for Merchants were top notch in every aspect. Would definitely use Merchants again, but definitely not Wheaton Worldwide Moving.

The company then refused to inspect my goods for damage or furnish the name of their insurance company. I have pictures and videos including one admission from another of the hired help whereby he admitted that they "messed up." Today I accidentally overloaded a washer and rather than get irritated with me, the very nice lady on duty accommodated my needs and gave me directions on how to avoid the issue in the future. I highly recommend this place if you need laundry service.
