Excellent service quality, pricing and professionalism. Johnson Appliance has serviced all of our appliances from 1993 until today, 2025. We couldn't be more delighted by everything about them. From that first phone call to arrange service until the repair is completed they are helpful and caring - as if we were a family member. You can hear their smiles thru the phone. They arrive as scheduled. They attend to all the "little things" one hopes for. Shoe covers as they enter your home. They bring towels, padding, and other items to make sure that not a scratch occurs or a drop of water or soil touches your appliance, floors, etc. Prices are very reasonable. If you already have a new bulb, screw, or hose on hand they use yours or ask before charging you for a part or supply. And when they supply a part, they explain why. Saving a few pennies on old washing machine hoses is never a good idea, and they tell you why. Today we needed 2 appliances repaired. I ordered an incorrect part, so they would need to make a 2nd repair visit when the correct item is received. And there won't be a second second service call charge for that visit! UNBELIEVABLE! The error was mine, and still they are saving me money ?! Wow. They not only service appliances, they sell them. They always tell you when you don't need to buy a new appliance and how they plan to help you extend the life of an existing appliance. And they are right there with recommendations when it IS time to get a new appliance. Quality of appliance repair? Perfection! They fix it right the first time. Training of their staff? Top notch! Newer personnel are closely monitored and encouraged. The work is double-checked by the more experienced. Range of services offered? Always exactly what I've needed. Ease of scheduling in an emergency? They have provided same-day service when needed. They check appliance Model numbers at scheduling so they anticipate repair parts possibly needed and complete most repairs in a single visit. I can't remember a time when I've waited more than a few days to be scheduled. Definitely no wait of weeks to be scheduled. So in the last 48 hours, my refrigerator/freezer has been NOT cooling/freezing, and I got home from work last night with a bunch of new frozen stuff -- yikes! This morning I called Johnson Appliance here in Hamilton, crossing my fingers, and their expert showed up just as I was being notified that he was on the way (prayers answered), and by this afternoon I was taking food out of iced coolers to put back in my WORKING fridge. The cost was quite reasonable, and the service was EXCELLENT! Matt dove right in, diagnosed the problem, showed me the fried heater coil (apparently the defrost function needs a heater) and installed the gleaming new part. Then he cleaned up EVERYTHING spotlessly, and I was good to go. My most heartfelt recommendation goes to Johnson Appliance Service, with my grateful thanks for fixing this major problem. read more

We were extremely pleased with the service we received from Johnson AS. Kade ordered and brought with him all the parts he needed to repair our oven to avoid an extra service call (we're waaay out there). The repair was diagnosed and completed in a timely manner and the guys took great care in pulling and replacing the oven to avoid damage to the surfaces and cabinets. They charge was very reasonable given the distance they had to travel. We've found our go to guys for appliance repair. read more

One of the rare appliance repair places around...anywhere. Mr. Johnson runs it and since his name is on the business he keeps it on-the-mark. Have had microwave door repaired, gas dryer fixed and many times he calls you back to trouble-shoot to eliminate a house call and the associated expense. Nice people who know their stuff and are very responsive. Johnson is known to stop by on his way home, well after normal business hours. I am so thrilled Mr. Johnson is in our area and offers this service. I have a wonderful side by side fridge. When I had terrible issues with the freezer and called the store I bought it from and the company that made it, I described the problem accurately. They both said it was "gone" and had to be replaced. I couldn't believe it, it wasn't that old. I remembered seeing Johnson appliance, called them, gave them the same description. Mr. Johnson was out here as soon as he got the part - a few days and fixed it for under $100. It has been running like a champ and I saved a bundle. Love them! read more

I am never using this company again! Our fridge keeps breaking. Last time Jay Johnson was here he told us what to do next time the fridge acted up. We tried that several times and then called and told the receptionist what was going on. Next thing we know he shows up unannounced, asks us what we were thinking when we did what he told us to do, pretty much yelling at us. Then he said he'd come back. I called the office to figure out what was going on with this guy, they apologized and said he'd come in the morning. Now it's 5:23 PM, he's come over, once again unannounced, he's slamming the door every time he comes and goes. My landlady set us up with this guy and I am calling her immediately to let her know what a nightmare this has been. My fiance just had to leave so he wouldn't yell at the guy to quit slamming the doors. Just wrong. Steer clear! read more
