I had an appointment to replace 1 TPMS The appointment was at 12:30. The manager told me I'd get my car back by 1:30. At 1:30 my car hadn't moved. I tracked down the manager and asked what was going on. He became agitated as if I was bothering him and told me to wait. I finally got my car back at 2. That's 90 minutes WITH an appointment I've been giving my business to the store for years and have spent thousands of dollars here. It looks like I'm going to have to find a new tire source Incidentally I noticed they had 4 employees hanging around one car. The store was busy and this obviously was part of the problem. We had purchased a used vehicle that had fairly new tires and the low tire indicator light on the dashboard lit for quite some time now, although we had made sure to have the tire pressure checked to be safe. We had taken our car to a different place where we were quoted a somewhat high price to replace the sensors on all of our tires. Upon coming into this Americas Tires Center for a air pressure check , we were fortunate enough to be assisted by employee VINCENT who not only did a great job in making sure our tires were properly filled to the proper level, but when asked about the low tire service light on dashboard, promptly took the time to check each individual sensor and confirm they were all good, but actually reset them all finally correct the problem , as the indicator light disappeared until we have an actual issue of low pressure as it should be. It can be a challenge finding good people in a service industry who actually take the time to care and do their jobs in such a cheerful and prompt manner. I stopped in this location because a tire started going flat. Waited 1 1/2 hours in the lobby before they even looked at the tire. For some reason my wheel lock key was not in the glove compartment as always. So they notified me there was nothing they can do. I parked in front of their shop door in the parking lot and replaced my tire with the spare myself. Could have saved time and effort doing it myself in the first place. read more

They could not alignment on my car and after 4 to 5 times taking my car to them to do a right alignment I finally gave up and asked them to return my money back. they did but gave me a bad attitude and not even once said sorry sir for inconvenience!. The store manager was acting like it was my fault they don't know how to do alignment on cars . First of all I was 100% right but they need to learn in America customer is always right!. This is the 2nd time I've accidentally been stranded in Palmdale since my tires like to pick up nails every so often along the antelope valley freeway. The guys are always SO NICE and accommodating! The prices are about what I'd expect, as I don't mind paying for tires that don't translate to death on wheels. Service time is actually not bad, considering I had a last minute appointment on a weekend. But you can make appointments online and they have a nifty service tracker they text you so you can monitor your car's progress. There's a comfy lounge with free wifi where you can wait. I went to America's Tire on mid June 2014, Manager ALEX GALLEGOS. I bought New Rims and Upgraded my Tires from 16" to 17" as I bought my Chevy Colorado from AV Chevy and paid CASH $28K and wanted to upgrade my tires from stock. I spent $2000K for everything. I did not like the tires I purchased because they were a little aggressive for a Mid-Size Truck. They gave me a hard time to change the tires and I purchases a street tire rather than the aggressive track tires. Finally they agreed and had to leave it over night again. When I changed the tires on my way home I got a call from the Manager ALEX GALLEGOS and said that my friend who gave me a ride, had SIDE SWIPPED a MERCEDES that we were parked next to and DEMANDED WE COME BACK TO THE STORE TO PROVE WE DID NOT. We were only a few miles away and said we would return immediately which we did. After arriving back there was a Mercedes parked in the Handicap next to where we were parked because we are both disabled. Clearly the Mercedes was Side Swipped all the way down the drivers side of her car. ALEX GALLEGOS and the other customer examined our Volvo which had no marks what so ever. To accuse us of hitting a car when we were leaving is a DISGRACE of CUSTOMER SERVICE. There was NO APPOLOGY WHAT SO EVER! I drove my truck home and parked it because I am in the middle of a funernal of my husband and our children. Yesterday when I got into my vehicle I found that ALL my cars instruments and tools were all gone and my Prescription RayBans $400 glasses I had in the glovebox. In addition to all this, they tried to keep my stock Chevy tires and rims from AV Chevy! I said there is nothing wrong with the rims and tires and I want them. They acted like it was a hassel to give me back my Good Stock Chevy Rims and Tires! Beware of this also. NOT ONLY DID THEY HAVE POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, ACCUSING ME OF HITTING A CAR IN THEIR PARKING LOT THEY ROBBED MY VEHICLE. IVE TRIED TO CALL SEVERAL TIMES BUT AM ON HOLD FOR OVER HALF AN HOUR. We brought our car in for new tires, and I have to be honest I'm incredibly disappointed with America's Tires at 38235 47th St E. Palmdale. For starters, I bought directional tires, 3 out of the 4 which they installed backwards. It took a trip to the dealership for an alignment to figure that out. Brought it back and had to have them dis-mount and properly orient the 3 tires. When we picked it up (the second time) I tried resetting the tire pressure warning light, but it would not reset. Started looking into the problem to discover that the TPMS sensors had been replaced with regular (brand new) valve stems. My wife took it in for a rotation and balance and asked about the TPMS sensors, and was told it would be $82 parts AND LABOR to put in the sensors. LABOR?? They wanted to charge me for labor to install the sensors when they had already had the tires off the rims previously (TWICE!!!) and said NOTHING about the vehicle needing sensors to begin with. What the heck?! I would have happily paid to have the sensors put in when they replaced the tires IF THEY HAD SAID SOMETHING. But it's completely unprofessional to say nothing, and then try to re-charge me labor to do something they should have done when they already had the tires off (TWICE). Again, I have no problem paying for parts, but labor?? Give me a break. BE WARNED: We were told by Cody (Salesperson 661) that if the vehicle didn't have sensors when it was brought in that as a matter of course they would not say anything about the tires needing TPMS sensors. Completely ridiculous. What kind of backyard mechanic mentality is that?! Now, since I just recently acquired the vehicle I have no idea if it had sensors or not. I'm taking their word for that. But how am I supposed to know if the vehicle had no sensors, or if they replaced the sensors with regular valve stems? Kind of hard to trust them at this point... I have bought numerous tires from these clowns for multiple cars, but I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on. I definitely recommend that anyone looking for quality service look elsewhere, because America's Tire at 38235 47th St E. Palmdale is terrible. read more

One of the worst experiences I've been through at an Americas Tire. Every location I have gone to in the past were great. This one has been horrible and even COST me money. I had 2 tires installed on my Tesla December 8th. December 9th I'm on the freeway with a family member and my car tells me to pull over immediately and tire pressure was dropping. $124 later I have my car towed home. I can't see any nail or puncture in my tire whatsoever. December 10th, 2 days after install, I'm back at Americas Tire in Palmdale. They looked at the tire and the persons face dropped. "I'm super sorry man, we didn't tighten the valve step sensor all the way and it came loose so you lost all your air, I'll check it for damage now". So I wait another hour for my tire to be done while my car is home on Jack stands. The tow truck driver told me that Americas Tire would reimburse me so I asked them. The rep told me no way and they do not so that. Yet they admitted to it being an improper install. Can't believe they would not do anything to remedy this issue. I'll spread the word in my network about my service and will be escalating to upper management somehow. The sad thing is I was speaking with the store manager that day and he was really nice. I had bought a tire from them as mine popped. Not even 5k miles and this is how my tire is looking like... I bought it brand NEW not used. I went back and they didn't even acknowledge me or try to help me out. They told me no warranty comes with those specific ones as they're performance tires but this tire is supposed to last at least 20k miles.... Slow service. Waited 4 hours to change a couple tires. Multiple people came in well after i did and had them out before me.

I came in the other day because my tire was low on air and when I refilled it it would just get low again after a few days. I was also noticing troubles with the car starting and was hoping they could clean the battery for me if I paid them or something like that. I made an appointment on their website, (which was very convenient) and I was able to get in in just a couple of hours! Once there I was greeted by a nice taller gentleman with short brown hair. There was a short line, but it went by fast. Once helped they looked up that I had an appointment and began service on my car immediately. While I was waiting one of the shop gentleman, Jessie, asked me what the trick was for starting my car. I thought that the battery had either just died or it was getting so dirty on the exterior that it was no longer making a connection. I offered to jump it if I could get some help, but Jessie and another gentleman named Cody, offered to take care of that for me. How sweet! After a few more minutes they came back in and notified me that it wasn't the battery that was causing me a problem but the starter. Apparently my radio and clock still worked with the key turned, but it just wouldn't turn on! Cody said he had to hit on my starter with a hammer just to get it to turn on. Ignorantly, I asked if I could do that myself, but he said it required two people and then took the time to explain the process to me. Good to know! I asked if they were able to replace the starter for me, but unfortunately they only deal with tires at that location. I waited while they quickly repaired my tire and they drove it up to me and left it running so I could just jump in and head directly to an auto shop. They were also able to email me my service invoice which was no charge! Seriously, this company is amazing! Everyone here is so nice and they work very fast and hard! They do great service here and I will definitely come to them for replacement tires if the need ever arises while I am in this area. Thanks for the great service, gentleman. I went in to get tires rotated and realized it would be good to get tires aligned , then the tech come a back 2 hours later to tell me they were only able to align front . advised me to purchase kit on line. And cone back to have installed and then they will reallign back . so I do this and they now say they can't install. So here I am running around to different mechanics to find out about replacing a part that looks exactly the same does the exact job as the old part. So now the manager (Alex) said oh to shouldn't cost much to do. Well now the gas tank need a to be dropped. So that's even more money. Now I go back to AT as agreed with Alex Saturday and I'm sitting here waiting and now past 7am I go to the door because I see employees there . I knock on door one guy said look at ... Seriously now they finally open I ask for Alex I'm asked to hold on now they put my car up . show me the part completely different from what was said. Now here I am again still spending more than necessary. Alex came out smiled as if everything was OK! At this point my blood is boiling for the lack of customer service , the time I wasted all just to lift my car and show me something different. Unbelievable seriously oh but I have 30 days to get this stupid bolt replaced and they will gladely align my car . I paid 80 and they only aligned the front. I won't come back ... Started at Lancaster shop but they didn't have alignment equipment and told the Palmdale shop could do it. Drove to the Palmdale only to be told not to park in their driveway. This is after I was called while on route and told to just pull in, making sure I was on route to them. As a customer it's your choice where to spend your money and it's the principal that they weren't ready for me.
