Originally I went to my regular shop and the alignment technician said, he does not have the proper specs to do the wheel alignment for my Sequoia because I have larger, after market rims. So I went to America's tire and I asked if they could do it. The technician hooked it up to his machine, and it calculated the adjustments needed and so I had them calibrate the alignment. Their price is also very reasonable and he was straightforward and honest with me to let me know the rear tires do not need alignment because of its structure. I love the service here. Not only with my tire needs, but now with alignment needs as well. Always coming back here until they give me a reason not to. read more

Be Cautious! My TPMS light came on and sensors indicated it was the back left tire. I took it in to America's tires in Cerritos to get an air check. Because I bought the tires from them and I also purchased the tire insurance from them. The lady visually inspected and couldn't see anything wrong. She refilled air and I went on my way. A few days later the TPMs light came back on. I took it back in. Told the rep the situation. Asked him if he could check it out for me. The tire is still under warranty and I have tire insurance on top of that. He told me he could not inspect the tire until I bought two new front tires from them. I gently declined. He kept on trying to sell me on tires citing safety issues etc. Since I did not buy two front tires from them, they refused to service my back tire. I brought the car in to get a tire checked out and serviced, from a store I bought the tire from, not to be solicited and forced to buy something I did not want. Why pay insurance for something when you can even utilize it for the reason you bought the insurance for in the first place. Came back to speak with a manager to report the incident and get some clarity. I was helped by a gentleman named Nicholas. He was great and he offered to help and make things right. I had to politely declined. I went to the other guys down the street. They were much more helpful and honest. After this experience I will never buy tires from them again. Been a loyal customer for over a decade. Spent thousands. Bought all of my family's tires from them. A company in decline, if they feel that they have to force, manipulate, and corner their customers to produce sales. What a shame. read more

I've been coming here for my tire issues. They're faster than Costco and also quite reliable. The pricing is comparable to Costco. I brought their tire warranty and they honor it. Because of my drive to work, I constantly get nails stuck in my tires. They offer quick appointments and fix it in 45min. I wanted to talk about my most recent visit. So my partner made an apt with America Tire Depot right next door thinking it was where I brought the tires from. When I realize, I kept the apt since it was already made. I went there and told them I think there's a nail in one of the tire. The staff went outside for like 3 min and came back and told me that there's no nail and the leaking is because I have cracked tires that need to be replaced. He showed me a picture of my tire and said they can't fix it. I think they are a single female going in the store and think I don't know anything. Now, I know my tires aren't that old and pretty sure there's a nail in it even though I couldn't see it. So I told them, I'll just go to America's Tires since I have warranty there. I drove next door. America's Tire staff took a look and found the nail. I made an appointment the next day and got it fixed. When they fixed it, they also show me each tire's status and let me know all 4 of my tires aren't still in the green zone, do not need to be changed yet. They also noted my tire sensor may need to be replaced but it was up to me if I decided I wanted to. They did not try to upsale me. They were professional and pleasant. They did the same check last time I had a flat tire too, so I know they are consistent. I'd brought my tires from them from another location, but I feel like the service here was way better and the other location, there was a staff who tried to upsale me about the sensor and made it sound like I would be danger if I didn't have it. I am pretty happy with their service and think they are trustworthy. It's always good to still look around and compare as both all the shops offer the same service. A recent visit to the dealership recommended tires needed replacing, I came here after booking an appointment at the wrong spot! I was relieved that the service technician was able to do the inspection, made recommendations and tires replaced, plus alignment performed all in the span of less than 2 hours. We have used America's Tires in the past at their former location in Long Beach Town center. I was happy that Brandi presented options that could fit my low mileage driving style ( thanks to working from home since 2020 pandemic). I opted for Yokohama tires, plus the available free monthly air check and every 6 months balance service that came with purchase. Quite busy location, every technician was courteous; I received updates as the work progressed. Francisco did the alignment and overall I feel my car drives smoothly now. In the end I purchased a rim for a spare tire, using one of the existing tires that were going to be trashed anyway. All cars run on tires after all, and I wanted a safe ride that did not require replacing until about 10 years after, given my low mileage. Made an appointment for 5:15, verified it with the employee again before I left for 5:15. Came at 5:15, said my name and the my appointment time was for 5:15 to the girl with glasses who helped me. She said ok, looked at my tire, and asked for my key. I asked her if I wait in their lobby and she said I could. They close at 6 pm. At 6:05 I see that my car is still in the parking lot. I ask the same girl when my eta was. She said it'll be one of the next ones to be worked on because my appointment time was 5:45. I told her it was for 5:15 and she's saying it was for 5;45. THEN WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY THAT FROM THE BEGINNING? I would have rescheduled and left. I asked for 5:15 so I can come right after work and still get home to cook my family dinner. She didn't tell me an estimated wait time which I heard other customers got. Is it because they are paying for a tire and mine is just being patched? I could have went elsewhere and paid fifteen bucks to have it patched. If I stated my appointment time was 5:15, why not tell me right then and there it was 5:45. Why would another employee put me down for 5:45 when I specifically asked for 5:15 twice? The service men servicing the car are nice so I hate to write a bad review over an inside female employee, but I should have been told an estimated wait time and for sure have been told my appointment was 545. The former location of Firestone Complete Auto Care, America's Tire (not to be confused with American Tire Depot a few blocks east) came through in a big way & thoroughly impressed me. My right rear tire had a tire valve stem leak. Perturbed that I may have to buy a new set of tires, I remember reading good reviews about my local America's Tire, and thought I'd give them a shot. After I parked, an associate came up to me & I described the issue I had. After using an instrument to measure my tire tread & checking out my wiper blades, he informed me they can install a new tire valve stem. Best part? Absolutely free! It's part of America's Tire free flat repair, regardless if this was my first visit. Inside, the associate let me know my tire tread was good, despite being 7 years old. He suggested if I'd like new tires, he gave me a quote out the door for the cheapest available set, and said tires 10+ years old cannot be worked on, needing a mandatory change. Finally, he spotted my streaking wiper blades, and gave me the quote of $10/each for new wipers, including install. The estimated time for completion was 10:50 am, with actual finished work done swiftly by 10:25 am. Service was excellent! Quite relieved I didn't have to purchase new tires/pay for tire repair, I had my car in & out in not time. Plus, as I my car was brought out to me, the technician thanked me for coming to America's Tire, and gave me the business card of the manager. I felt welcomed & appreciated from the time I arrived, to the time I left. Color me impressed, America's Tire! You now have my patronage, going forward. My tire issue became just a minor inconvenience, and I didn't have to drop a lot of moolah for a costly repair. Since I frequently get nails in my tires, I was actually looking for a reliable tire shop that I could visit regularly. I genuinely thought this place would be convenient and that I could become a regular customer here. WHAT A HUGE MISTAKE! I've had nails removed and tires patched many times at other tire shops in Buena Park and La Mirada. Some charged me $5, others $7, and usually around $10. Today, all I needed was a simple nail removal and tire patch. After the employee finished repairing my tire, he told me it was $20. I told him that was ridiculously expensive compared to what I had paid elsewhere. And guess what? He SMILED and told me that the $20 included a TIP! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! Who gave you the right to decide my tip for me? He then told me to speak to his boss. So I went to the boss and asked how much the repair was. He said $30! THIRTY DOLLARS?! I immediately told him, "NO! Your employee just told me $20!" Suddenly, he changed the price to $25. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I told him AGAIN, "NO! He clearly told me $20! Why do you keep changing the price?!" Only then did the boss call the employee over and ask whether he had quoted me $20. The employee confirmed that he had. I wish I held off to get a second opinion before purchasing tires from here but it felt urgent and unsafe as they were telling me. I came in because my air pressure light was on and so I got it looked at. The said my tire was worn down pretty bad and would need to get replaced and also had a nail but wouldn't replace it since my tire is bad. I asked for the DOT and noticed that the new ones I had purchased just last year were rotated on the left side of the car and the last time I got them rotated was at this location. I drove on it for a week and then scheduled an appointment at the San Pedro location near my work for a second check. To my surprise, San Pedro checked it thoroughly, said there was absolutely nothing wrong with it, and just topped off the air. Came in for a tire repair, it was punctured by a nail in the middle of the tread. Classic repairable damage. They installed and plug and patch, but told us that the plug was still leaking and recommended we purchase a new tire. We purchased a new tire from them, but asked for the old tire back. Had someone else look at the damaged tire and they pointed out that the tire was not plugged in the right place! They actually damaged the tire beyond repair rather than fixing it. Brandi was the salesperson who said, falsely, that the tire was leaking because the nail was too big. She failed to mention or notice that the tire was damaged by the "repair" they did. UPDATE: Eddie, the manager, reached out after my review and admitted fault and took responsibility for the damage caused by the shop. They installed a replacement and refunded the tire that I had to purchase. However, they installed the wrong replacement tire and I was the only one who noticed it did not match the other 3 tires. Eddie was apologetic and replaced it with the correct tire the next day. I appreciate his prompt response and him taking accountability. However, all these issues should never have happened. Gone are the days when I'd have to drive to Signal Hill to get my tires rotated. Of course, that's not to say the Signal Hill location has gotten bad, but I've been there a handful of times before that when the Cerritos location opened, I made it a point to try that location and see how it would compare. Actually, I heard there was supposed to be an America's Tire opening in Lakewood where East Side Mario's used to be, but I reckon that must have fallen through the cracks. For now, I'll have to make this my go-to location, even if it's not as good as the Signal Hill location. This America's Tire opened recently in Cerritos on South St next to Aldi, where Firestone used to be. The cool thing about this location is that whichever direction you go from there, you'll always find an option to grab something to eat or simply walk around an air-conditioned store while you wait for your tires to be worked on. The walkability from the Signal Hill location doesn't really compare, hence why I'm more than willing to patronize this location even if it's not as good. I first came on a weekday after work right before the Labor Day holiday weekend when I was planning to go out of town, and I wanted to make sure my tires had sufficient air pressure to make it to where I was going. It took a while, however, to be serviced not just because there was a truck that was backing into the rear lot of the tire shop, but also because there wasn't anybody stationed at the air check, located in the rear of a garage. In fact, I believe a disgruntled customer had left the air check because nobody noticed their presence. Luckily, they noticed mine, but do keep this in mind when you go to this location. You might have to get an employee's attention from afar. Yair was the one who serviced me and checked the tire pressure on all four of my tires. His customer service skills were on par with a traditional America's Tire employee, but he missed the mark when he said he'd email me a copy of my receipt from my visit, but I never received such an email. He did let me know about the condition of my tires, and I kept that in the back of my mind when I'd get my tires rotated on a future visit. That future visit was also on a weekday, but after the holiday weekend. I set up an appointment for around lunchtime, thinking it wouldn't be as busy. No joke, as soon as I got out of my car, an employee named Jay was walking towards me, ready to service me. I was impressed! I had told him I was here for my appointment, and he was able to look up my name without my having to say it! If this were my first visit to this location, it would have left a much better first impression. Before we went in, Jay took the time to run some tests on my tires and even check on the spare tire in the trunk of my car, the last of which I've never had happen despite patronizing the chain over the years. Other than that, Jay's level of service was the standard that you'd expect at any America's Tire location. He informed me of the condition of my tires, pretty much the same spiel that Yair had went over with me a couple weeks prior. However, I felt he was trying to upsell me with some new tires and wiper blades even though the tires had only reached the recommended level based on years, but not quite tread lengths yet. Though the wiper blades were understandable, I wasn't in a mood to spend ~$50 (!) on a new set of wiper blades in an area that doesn't get a whole lot of rain. But he definitely wasn't pushy; just trying to let me know of the opportunity since they did have wiper blades and tires in stock at the time. What's interesting is that it took them about 40 minutes to rotate my tires even though it wasn't even that busy. One time at the Signal Hill location, they got it done in about 5 minutes, but at least I had ample time to rest and relax in their customer lounge, which was deprived of water bottles in their mini fridge. However, there are some outlets and even some USB ports for customers to charge their laptops and other devices while getting some work done. After about 35 of those minutes, Matthew called my name to let me know that my car was just about done. He was also trying to let me know about how bad the wiper blades were, but come on, do I really need to be told the same thing twice?? Kind of overkill if you ask me. I'll definitely keep it in the back of my mind, but I'm more than willing to wait another day. Anyways, Matthew was chill too, but I had to keep my eyes on the garages to look for when my car was ready to go back on the road. A female employee was guiding Matthew out of the garage, and then he turned my car around before handing me my car key. He also gave me not one, not two, but three business cards of their store manager, Eddie, who was previously the manager of the Fullerton location, which I went to last year and didn't have nearly as good an experience. America's Tire is a chain that opened on South St not too long ago (less than a year ago?). A few months back, I had a nail in. Even though I hadn't bought the tires from them, they helped me out politely and without any hassle. So when it was time to replace the tires on my Model S, I chose America's Tire for three main reasons: 1. My positive experience with them from few months ago when I wasn't even a customer. 2. Their shop is clean and organized, and they don't push unnecessary sales. 3. I showed up for my appointment and they had a bay ready--no waiting. I was in and out in under 30 minutes, which saved me a lot of time. I'm usually wary of tire or mechanic shops--there are so many ways they can cut corners. And do a poor job simple as replacing tires, like dropping your rims without care. Even if the shop has good policies, hiring the wrong people can still ruin the experience. But with America's Tire, both of my visits met expectations and I'm satisfied. I recommend them. Also, recommend that you make an appt online even though they take walk-ins. Excellent service! I needed air in one of my tires and first stopped by a nearby tire shop that I usually visit. After waiting more than 10 minutes without anyone acknowledging or assisting us, we decided to leave. I remembered there was an America's Tire location in Cerritos and headed there instead. As soon as I arrived, I noticed clear signs directing customers to the air pressure check area. I followed the signs, waited only a couple of minutes, and was promptly greeted by Jay with a friendly smile. I explained that my rear passenger-side tire was showing low pressure on my vehicle's display. Jay quickly checked all four tires and informed me that the other three also needed air. He also took the time to inspect for any other potential issues. What really stood out was that he explained the importance of checking tire pressure at least once a month--something no one at any tire shop had ever mentioned to me before. Jay filled all four tires and advised me to return if the rear tire lost more than five PSI in a short period so they could perform a more thorough inspection. Shortly afterward, I received a Tire Health Spotlight report by email that included tread depth measurements, tread condition, and a visual diagram of the results. I was genuinely impressed. Recently my car suddenly had a yellow low tire pressure warning out of the blue via the tire-pressure monitoring system (TPMS). And as fate would have it, this America's Tire location in Cerrito happened to locate near Los Cerritos Center and I decided to stop by for an air check. Upon arrival, visitors should see a giant sign stating that they offer free walk-in air check for any visitors. There is no gimmick and the only two information the staff will be asking are (1) your name and (2) your phone number. I had Joseph and he was very friendly. He checked all of my tires in less than 15 minutes and said one of rear tires probably has a small leak. My jaw almost dropped when he said they offer free tire repair but will need to wait for 45 minutes. I ended up choosing to skip the free repair as the store was about to close in less than one hour and I had other errands to run. I also received a tire report on tread depths and tire age. Recommendation: Tires should be replaced after 6 years of age regardless of tread depth. Superb service by Joseph - their complimentary tire inspection and air check are real deal! read more

I came in (today) Saturday a little after 2:00pm to have two tires installed. I was told the car would be ready around 5:30pm, so I waited at the store the entire time. At 6:00pm, even though the store officially closes at 5:00pm, I was told it would be another 20-30 minutes because they were "finishing the alignment." At 6:30pm, after waiting over four hours, I was informed they could not complete the alignment because they "don't have the proper equipment for European vehicles." This should have been identified before attempting the service. I want to note that I have been to two other America's Tire locations in the past, both of which successfully performed alignments on my vehicle without any issues and provided great service. This made the explanation even more frustrating. During my visit, I also observed employees driving my and other vehicles aggressively in the parking lot, accelerating quickly and braking hard, which was extremely concerning and unprofessional. Although the alignment charge was refunded, when I drove away my car was not driving straight. The steering wheel is now off-center, and I have to turn it to the right just to drive straight. This issue did not exist before I arrived. I left with my vehicle in worse and potentially unsafe condition, with brand-new tires now at risk of uneven wear, and no corrective solution or compensation was offered. In the morning on my way to work, I noticed my passenger rear tire was low so I stopped by, and Yair was checking the air pressure and putting air for people that stop by. I told him that I had a plug on my tire because the people at the dealer lost my tire lock, so about 3 months ago when I had a flat, I went to a tire repair shop and they couldn't do the normal flat tire patch since they couldn't unlock my tire. Yair took a look at my tire, and he said that there was a nail which was separate to the previous problem, and probably recent. To my great surprise he said he will not only repair the nail puncture, but also do the patch for my plug which I have been trying to do for some time(once I got my tire lock back from the dealer, because they had to order one since they lost it when I went for service) and went to the tire place where they did the plug but was told they wouldn't do it. Tried other tire places and they also wouldn't. I'm very grateful and impressed by this America's tire location for their customer service and attitude. They not even charged me for the flat repair, and went beyond my expectations. They didn't try to sell a new tire, like the one time that I went to Pep boys on South Street and my they said it wasn't repairable because it was close to the tire wall which I knew it was pure BS, since it was inside almost 2 inches from the wall and the tire was in great condition. For anyone coming to this place make sure you do your own person due diligence before coming here to get prices gouge here. I'm from out of town and my tire has a heat bobble in it ready to pop any second and this place had the tire I needed in stock but they wouldn't let me purchase the tire to install it because the employee claim they have to do there ( due diligence ) whatever the fuck that means. I get you can't please everyone but really some made up (due diligence) to make you sound smart is crazy. How can you be doing your due diligence when I have to now go somewhere else on a bad tire because of your made up policy and your guys tryna up sell me by saying I need a bigger tire for my cars load.. Sir/mama I drove and have had these tires and rim size on my car for 3+. Years and discount tire where I'm from installs them everytime I need them. But everyone do your due diligence and go to Cruz tires or Allen tire company down the way. Better pricing and their due diligence is marking sure your rolling, not worried about your personal custom car set being over or under load. read more

Had a flat last night on my Tesla Y performance. Called this store first thing in the morning at 8:00 am. NICHOLAS who answered the phone was AMAZING! Search for my tires at nearby store and price match COSTCO!!! Ordered the tires to be delivered to Cerritos store...received them an hour earlier than promised. First time at America's Tire. All the staff including the manager with the cool "glasses" forgot his name were so friendly. Offered cold water bottles, coffee while you're waiting. Will refer all my friends to this store. I had an outstanding experience at America's Tire in Cerritos, CA. After inspecting my tire, the staff told me it needed to be replaced because they didn't feel it was safe to continue driving on it. I told them I would just have them put the old tire back on so I could think about my options or possibly take it somewhere else. They immediately said they weren't comfortable letting me drive away on that tire. Their first solution was to offer me a used tire at no charge, but after checking their inventory, they found they didn't have one available. Instead, they went above and beyond by installing a brand-new tire--the least expensive one they carried--completely free of charge. I was genuinely impressed by their commitment to customer satisfaction and to my safety. That kind of customer care is hard to find these days. It's refreshing to see a company that gives importance to customer safety. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, professional, and efficient, and they made the entire process quick and stress-free. Experiences like this are what create loyal customers. Amazing service from start to finish. I had a flat tire going home from work and stopped by to get it fixed. Service was friendly and professional. There was a sidewall leak which meant that my tire needed to be replaced. It was under warranty and was replaced quickly. Shoutout to Matt and team. Saved me twice in 2 weeks. Got a nail in my left rear tire and they patched it up and inspected my other tires. All free. They let me know my front 2 tires were in the red and should change it soon. 2 weeks later front right tire popped in a parking lot. I recently visited this Cerritos location for a tire rotation and balance. The staff were friendly and the service was quick, BUT when I got my car back, there was a loud ticking sound only present after I got serviced with them. I went back to have it checked, but they just insisted it was a bearing issue and refused to investigate further. Please be aware that this lack of thorough inspection can be a serious danger to customers. Disappointed, I took my car to a different location of the same company. They were incredibly helpful, doing a full inspection and balance, and the ticking sound disappeared. Save your time and go to another location. read more

I had a flat on my rear passenger side tire--completely flat. Even though I had run-flat tires, I didn't want to push my luck. After airing it up, I saw a wood screw stuck in the tread. I decided to look for a vulcanizing shop and ended up at American Tire in Cerritos. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with care. The manager, Eddie, greeted me, asked for my name and number, and personally checked my tire. He told me it was still fairly new and reassured me that it could be patched. One of his staff got to work right away, patching the tire and checking all the others to make sure they were properly inflated and safe to drive on. I waited in their comfortable and convenient lounge--tables with USB outlets and laptop power made it easy for me to keep working while I waited. In just a short time, someone came in and let me know my car was ready. And the best part? They didn't charge me anything. They said this is just part of the service they provide to customers. I was honestly blown away. I usually buy my tires from Costco to save money, but next time, I'll be buying from American Tire. Their customer service, care, and honesty are unmatched. And just in case they charge a little bit more, I'd gladly support them. They also offer discounts and--bonus--they do wiper replacements too! The next day, I realized I accidentally took a tool belt pouch with me, so I went back to return it and say thanks again. I brought a box of Turon (Filipino fried banana rolls) as a small thank you for Eddie and his team. Not happy with my most recent experience. I was told my vehicle was ready for pick up around their closing time. It was not. When I turned on the car the low tire pressure light TPMS light and the TPMS was not showing any of the tire pressures. I knew that some occasions the TPMS sensor can take some time to recalibrate fine. So I left and tired to give it some time. I then went home and attempted to reset it myself again in which I was able to get rid of the low air tire pressure and TPMS light but when trying to look at the actual air pressure it was still not showing. Made a call the following day to inform them of the issue. Brought it in and a technician attempted to recalibrate it with their machine. It still did not work and I was told to drive it and let it cycle and hopefully it would clear. I was sent a survey and informed them of the issues I still currently have. I was later contacted by the store manager and was told that I possibly need to buy new sensors to maybe have it fixed. Why doesn't make sense is everything was working prior to them replacing the tires. Even included in the service was a rebuild kit. So I spent more than $1400 and now I have to pay more due to "possibly" fix the issue that was caused by the technician. I am significantly disappointed with the service I received. read more

Matt and the team helped me put on my spare and let me leave the damaged tire and wheel so they could replace it with a new tire. I didn't have to wait, and I was able to drive away and get on with my day without any delay. The manager and staff are friendly, professional, honest, and operate a clean and safe shop. I wouldn't hesitate to bring your vehicle here. They might not be the cheapest in town, but they are very good at what they do.
