I took a ride on Monday to the airport. This was my first time since the beginning of all the COVID-19 stuff. I was a bit hesitant at first to fly, but figured it would be okay (Alaska blocks middle seat...). John picked me up (on time as always), and I was happy to see that he installed Plexiglas barriers in his vehicle for our mutual safety. Naturally John had his mask on (as did I). The conversation was a bit muffled through the two masks and barrier, but isn't that the "new normal" (unfortunately)? Bottom line, I felt safe riding in the vehicle. This isn't really a surprise, as this business always seems to be on the up and up. I attached some photos of the barrier. read more

John is EXCELLENT! Always on time, you can TRUST him to be there for you. I did not want to put my faith in a random Uber or Lyft driver or their scheduling system. I wanted someone I could make arrangements for driving to the airport when I leave and from the airport when I return; I know when I book with John, my ride is set and I can focus on preparing for other things. The vehicle is always immaculate and John knows his stuff. I'm planning another trip right now and he's the ONLY one I trust. His kind of dedication to customer service is a rare gem. read more

Great service and on time. John Allen arrived at the time he stated. Mr Allen was very courteous and pleasant to my family. The vehicle was clean, spacious and comfortable. We arrived at the airport on time and dropped us off right at the ticket counter. read more

I needed an early morning ride from north county to the airport and I'm glad I called John. He picked me up at the time he said he would, we had a great conversation on the way there, and he dropped me off at the airport safely and on time. John clearly loves life and what he does. Highly recommended and more than worthy of 5 stars. Thank you, John! read more

There are many luxury car services to the airport, but if you look on the California TCP website, many are operating with expired or revoked licenses. John Allen of America's Finest Shuttles is LEGIT--licensed and insured. He also doesn't charge your card until your trips are completed. He's reliable and on time, the vehicle was clean and comfortable. His website needs updating but he's solid and trustworthy. He also had the best price of all the quotes I received. I also love supporting veteran owned small businesses. If you do too, call John for your next ride to the airport. read more

OUTSTANDING! There is no other word to describe the service I received by John Allen, retired Navy Chief and owner of America's Finest Shuttles. John's price was the lowest. His service beat every other airport shuttle company I have previously used. He picked us up at the exact time he said he would. When we messed up his schedule by having to go back and get a forgotten item, he did so with no complaints. He also was very helpful when our 5 year old spilled his drink in the shuttle. When we arrived at the airport he sought out someone to help us with our luggage. Just a class act. On our return flight we were delayed by four hours. He guaranteed he would be there or he would send another company at no additional charge to us. He was there of course and very helpful with a smile on his face. We had a missing item and he offered to go to airport security the next day to inquire about our loss. Did I already say he's a "class act"? Well, I'll say it again, "He's a class act." Thank you John Allen for your service to this country and your service to our family. read more

A BIG Thank You to John and his car service! A pleasure and super easy setup for a family of 6 with two little ones. John was thorough and exactly where we needed him, when we needed him. Vehicle was pristine and spacious for our group and allowed the transfer to be relaxing. I highly recommend John and his service for any So Cal needs! And Thank You John for your service to our country! Keep up the great work, I'm a big fan! read more

I had a flight at 8am and I was really stressed that if I got a shuttle the driver would have overslept and I'd be stuck. John picked me up at 5:45am and said he had already taken someone else to the airport that morning. Very nice and the car was clean. Will be using him again. read more

I called to ask if they have any available shuttle to drive my son from SD airport to LAX, his flight was delayed and will be late for his connecting flight. Unfortunately, they have none available, but I'm still giving this company a 5 star because the one who answered tried to help me out and recommended another company. Thank you. read more

Without a doubt, the most courteous and professional delivery service I have ever experienced! When you're traveling, the last thing you want to worry about is transportation. John, a local of San Diego, is the owner and was our driver to the airport. He is incredibly outgoing and passionate about what he doing. A retired military veteran, he paid attention to every detail of the trip (e.g., emailed receipt the night prior, hard copy the day of, booster seat for our toddler). His company can also provide service to downtown San Diego and other local areas for a rate lower than anything around and I looked! They charge a flat low rate ($60 special) which only becomes cheaper if you add more passengers. Will absolutely use him again when we visit family! read more

If possible, I would give a TEN STAR! John Allen is amazing! His vehicles are spotless; he's ALWAYS on time, and he knows the in's and out's (secrets) of the SD Airport. At Thanksgiving amid throngs of people, he knew to take me to baggage area, up escalator (carrying my bags) and left me right by American. At Christmas, he was similarly imaginative! And I made my plane that otherwise, I would have missed. His pride in his professionalism (and experience) comes with value. He is my ONLY Shuttle! read more

I have never posted a review for any service, ever, although I use Yelp often- however I do want to post that I found John A.'s America's Finest shuttle service from Poway to the San Diego airport to be excellent! I had to book at the last minute, the night before-however he immediately sent me a text and email confirming my appointment, and he was at our designated meeting spot 10 minutes early. The transport vehicle was spotless, and I arrived early to the airport despite commute hour traffic. John was very pleasant and professional and I will definitely call on him again. When I arrived home in Marin County-and had to take a cab home-- (twice as expensive for distance, and in a dirty, hot, completely unsatisfactory car-) I realized it is rare to have such excellent service, as I did with Americas Finest. For the past several years we had used a "discount" car service from the internet. However, after they went to the wrong address and left us standing at the airport TWICE, enough was enough. Enter Americas Finest Shuttles. John has been on time, in fact early. When we returned from our last trip he was outside baggage claim as soon as we were. Their vehicles are clean, the drivers are neatly attired. We are so pleased that we are now booking months in advance. This is a great company. Veteran, owned and operated. They operate primarily in the North County. When you need a shuttle to the airport, wine tour or wedding transportation, here is the best kept secret. read more

I normally don't give 5 star reviews just because that will mean there's no room for improvement, however, John and team deserve the 5 stars. I've used John's service for ~5 business trips, and not once did I miss a flight. Better yet, not once was he late at the scheduled time for pick up. He was recommended from a co-worker of mine, and I haven't used another service since. A+ all the way around. read more

The absolute best service! Reliable, clean vehicles, trustworthy and always on time if not early. John Allen is the owner and he is a joy to work with. I highly recommend this company! read more

This truly is an amazing service! We used it back in March and I forgot to post a review. I had a great talk with the driver who also owns the company. The car was clean and the service was exemplary. I was very pleased and I'm signing up to use this service again for my next trip out of town. I highly recommend it! read more

These guys are kick ass. I had a flight this morning and had totally forgot to set up a ride to the airport. I called these guys and they set up a ride within the hour. The man I spoke to was very friendly and extremely professional on the phone. When the driver arrived (in a beautiful Mercedes which I wasn't expecting when he said "sedan") he promptly greeted us with a smile, loaded our luggage for us, and opened our doors. Conversation was pleasant, ride was smooth, and price was RIGHT! I couldn't believe the service I received for the price I paid. It's rare to find services like this where the driver is American and your not paying an arm and a leg. He seemed to know a lot about the area too. It was good enough for me to take the time and type out this review. If I'm in San Diego again and I need a ride anywhere, they've earned my business. read more

I just came back to San Diego and used their services again to go to the airtport and also to out for drinks on the weekend with my friends. It was wonderful not to have to share a trip with strangers, their exclusivity was worth contacting them. Compared to other shuttle companies around the area of San Diego, I am very happy I went with them. Plus I found their wesite to be very easy to use and love their logo! I recommend this company to anyone in San Diego, or planning on visiting this beautiful city. read more

We use this shuttle service whenever we need a ride to the airport. John, the owner, is a Veteran. His military training reflects in everything about his company. The vehicles are clean and in excellent condition. He and his other drivers are always punctual, friendly, and professional. Last weekend, I went downton with a few of my girlfriends. We all wanted to get a few drinks, and a friend had previously referred me to America's Finest Shuttles. Our driver was fantastic; he arrived to pick us up on our way to and from downtown on time and was a pleasure to talk to. read more

We have family flying in from all over the country several times a year. We tried several shuttle services to help get them to and from the airport, but stopped looking when we found this one. They are prompt and professional. They only drive one client at a time instead of making several stops with great prices. If you are looking for personal, reliable service, this is the one for you! read more

Very professional. We used this service for my daughters wedding to shuttle guests to and from Bernardo winery. They were on time, very accommodating, and just a pleasure to do business with. Thank you John and your staff of drivers. read more

I just had my wedding in Poway over the 4th of July weekend and John and the team at America's Finest Shuttles didn't disappoint. They were very prompt and everything went off without a hitch. John's professionalism and integrity are top notch. I wouldn't hesitate to book AFS as their pickup and dropoff service avoids the hourly charges when the vehicles are not in use. After talking with John on several occasions to confirm the (exact) details, I know his top priority is the quality of service he provides as well as maintaining his reputation so need to worry about being stranded somewhere! read more

Our family has been using America's Finest Shuttle for over 3 years. Always courteous. Always on time. My family and I had an excellent experience using America's Finest Shuttle. I have a large family of 5 and we had a very early morning flight. Traveling with large parties, including children, can sometimes be challenging, but John (the owner) made the experience wonderful! There was no stress. He was punctual, courteous, professional, knowledgeable, kind and genuinely friendly. He even got along well with the kids (teens and younger kids)! The vehicles were clean and in great condition. We used America's Finest for transportation to the airport and home from our vacation. In both instances John was on time and very clear with instructions. John and his staff made our travel experience to and from our vacation more enjoyable and stress free! I would highly recommend this service to family and friends.
