We got stuck in Maui due to the Tsunami warning and missed our connecting flight home. Affordable Airport Transportation had great reviews and followed up with my request in minutes. We had our car booked 5 minutes later. When we arrived in LA, our driver Ahmad texted me that he was waiting for us. Gave us his location and we found him immediately. Even at midnight, LA traffic was backed up and several freeways were either backed up because of reduced lanes or completely closed, but Ahmed was familiar with the area and expertly navigated us around and got us home safe and sound and super quick. So glad we came across them. They backed up their promises and I wouldn't hesitate to use them in the future! Thank you!!!

He picked up my…read morefamily of four (plus what felt like enough luggage for a six-month expedition) from Poway and got us to the airport smoothly, professionally, and stress-free. The playlist? Absolute perfection -- somehow managing to please an entire car full of people, which honestly deserves its own award. A week later, he picked us back up from the airport and delivered us home to Poway like the vacation fairy godfather he is. Great conversation, incredibly professional, genuinely kind, and the kind of person who makes the ride feel like part of the vacation instead of just transportation. This company struck gold with Jonas. After riding with him, I wouldn't even consider using another service. Five stars isn't enough -- give this man a cape and a raise!

Except I made a mistake with the original pick up time. I put 2:45 AM vs PM. My fault. I had a very hard time getting ahold of anyone. (Email on website didn't work) calling they told me to email this was 15 minutes or less after booking. Finally I called the next morning and got someone. Luckily they were able to change it for me. Skip to day of arrival. Of course our connecting flight was delayed. I messaged city captain to let them know we were going to be later than expected. Our original driver still showed up at the normal time and asked where we were. I told them that I contacted the company and the rescheduled for A little later. He told me to call him when we were out of baggage claim. In the meantime, I got a message that a different driver was on their way to pick us up at the new anticipated time. I let them know our original driver was waiting for us. I didn't hear anything back, so I Joe they cancelled that driver. We finally got picked up and dropped off at our hotel. Phew! The driver was super friendly and understanding when we apologized about the situation. Fast forward to scheduled pick up from hotel to be take to the airport at 4 Am. I was texted at 3:30 that our driver was on the way. I stood outside of the hotel until 4:05 when I called and said "hey we were supposed to be picked up at 4 and our driver isn't here" I don't think they remembered. You could see their car on the map that was not driving. Shortly after my call it started moving. 20 minutes late our driver showed up. Luckily we were able To navigate through the airport quickly to make our flight. I am not sure if these issues are normal? We have scheduled Ubers before at 4 AM and have never had an issue. So It's weird that with a premium car service this would happen. I don't know. Everyone we had Contact with was friendly though.

My driver never contacted me, when I made the appt, the *owner* took no info from me, I had to reach out BEFORE to give/confirm my info, then he told me to contact my driver directly. When I called, he answered Hello? First red flag, not a business number I was calling, it was a personal cell phone. I should have looked up their business address. A driving school. Really? They are not even listed at the address with google maps, so this is not a real *business* I gave my flight info, date and time of arrival a couple days in advance to confirm to driver the arrival in a couple days. On the night of our arrival, the driver messages back to me that he is on another errand and will be there to pick us up as soon as he is done, should not take long. The driver was not there, we had to wait 45 min outside for his arrival, 47 min if you want to be technical about it. 7:30 we are outside, and 8:17 he arrives, eventually. I told the *owner* I wanted something more special than UBER, so I was contacting him to get a personal pick up, WRONG DECISION The car was a YARIS, and it had a HUGE wet stain in it and it was filthy. I was skeeved the whole drive. We should have called an uber. It was the WORST experience ever, I would NOT recommend this service, they took the cash and I am sure they did not even report it to the govt. *shrug* Buyer beware, do not use this service. I had seen and heard so many recommendations of Scroggins Transport Service on social media and from acquaintances, I was glad he was available. Jason is that great combination of professional and friendly. As I approached his car, he immediately jumped out to help me in case my vision was at all impaired. I could actually see well enough not to be wobbly, but I appreciated his concern and actions. He drove me to the appointment, waited for me, and then drove me home. We had great conversations each way, and the price was actually more affordable than had I booked a separate Uber each way. The car was beautifully maintained, the ride was smooth, the communication setting up the appointment and letting me know he was on the way were all perfect. I told Jason I had been keeping an eye on his ads and social media posts for a while, knowing I was reaching a phase of life where family was no longer close by, and friends were not always available to help out with transportation if I couldn't drive myself. Of the many local drivers I've seen recommended on social media, I was impressed that Jason is open to driving clients to medical appointments and social events, not just airport destinations. It is important to me that Jason has commercial insurance and this is his full-time business -- many drivers are not as appropriately insured and may only be driving as a side gig. I honestly feel like a burden has been lifted off of me, knowing that I can turn to Jason for future medical or other appointments. Had he been in business when I was driving my elderly parents to doctors' appointments several times a week, I would have eagerly booked him for a few of those visits, knowing that my parents would have been given the assistance and caring attitude that Jason offers. I'm sure Jason is great with people of all ages.
