We used Hal Moon for our trip from San Diego to the Long Beach cruise port and back, for a group of 9 of us. We used Half Moon for transport up and back from LAX. I knew between the rain we had been having, rush hour, and the construction up that way, I didn't want to drive. The drivers both ways (Nick and Jeff) were beyond courteous and wonderful. Both drivers had water and snacks available for myself and my daughter, they entertained all my daughter's questions, and even had some pillows set up so she could fall asleep in the car (while buckled in of course). The service was so easy to set up, I was contacted the night before and day of by the driver. They were always early so I had no fear of being late. I booked a last minute ride to the airport and am so glad I did! Nick, my driver, confirmed with me via text within an hour of booking. When I woke up at the crack of dawn the next morning, there was a text from Nick letting me know he was already outside and was ready whenever I was! We used Half Moon for our trip to Boston. They picked us up from our Carlsbad condo at 4:00 AM. Driver, Nick was right on time and very professional. In fact, he sent a text the night before our fligh confirming his appointment and again in the morning to alet us know that he was indeed on the way. We arived at the airport in plenty of time to catch our flight out. Our arrival back into SD International Airport was on time but, it took over 1/2 an hour to get our bags. Driver, John had been monitoring the flight in and kept in contact with us during the wait. Both vehicles were very clean and both drivers were fantastic. A+ experience. I can't say enough good things about this company. I booked an LA to San Diego trip at the last minute. The car was immaculate and comfortable. My driver Thomas was not only a great driver, he was funny, a fabulous conversationalist, extremely polite and went out of his way to help me. We hired Half Moon Limos to take 4 ladies (one didn't make it, so ended up only being 3 of us) to Temecula for a day of traveling to a few wineries. Because of Covid I was having a difficult time finding a wine trip. Half Moon Limos was the right choice for our Winery day! Hiring a personal driver was the best! Jeff picked us up in a clean and large Suburban from our hotel in Carlsbad. He took us to 4 different wineries and back to Carlsbad. He was so very pleasant. I can't say enough good things about Half Moon. I've used them several times (all 5 star experiences), but the last one takes the cake. My airline and their "partner" airline (their systems don't talk to each other well enough) jerked me around, and when we arrived at the airport in Italy, we were informed our last flight leg no longer existed, so we had to change flights. And then our running to catch flights began, and I never had the opportunity to contact Half Moon to let them know about the flight changes, until we arrived in Chicago (which wasn't where I was supposed to be coming home from). Meanwhile, Half Moon had been trying to contact my airline, sending driver to a different airport, all trying to be there when I landed. Before my last flight from Chicago, we did connect, and they were there for me when I landed in SAN. They went beyond out of their way with their service. And at the heart of their service, was Nick (our driver) who has driven us each time we used Half Moon. Nick is what all drivers should be.
