Their original schedule estimate of a couple of weeks turned into a couple of months to complete, which they attributed to supplier delays. Felipe just completed a multi-week project for me and finished well ahead of schedule. Felipe's…read morecrew treated our house well and their work was top notch. Felipe supervised closely checking the work many days per week. He was often hands-on dealing with details to ensure they meet his expectations. As the project wrapped up, he blue taped his own crew's work and had them cleaning up details that I didn't even notice. When I performed walkthrough there were only a few places I needed to request touchups to and those were handled well. There was one bit of trim carpentry that I wasn't satisfied with and Felipe took an extra day to rework it to my preference and had his crew come yet again to touch up the final paint. He included a house cleaning in the project which turned out well (Sheetrock dust was everywhere, of course). When he came to check the house cleaner's work, he even took his shoes off before entering even though no one was there to notice if he did. At the end of the project, we have a move-in ready house that feels brand new. Sheetrock repairs, interior painting walls/ceilings/trim/cabinets, custom murphy bookcase, enclosed wall cutout, wrapped beam with stain-grade wood and stained. Felipe's bid wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive, but I trusted his reviews and was not disappointed--I feel we got what we paid for.

This may have been a good reputable company at one time... Read the other reviews - bottom line;…read moreSTAY AWAY FROM THEM. We had been shopping for a building and wanted to give our business to a local company thinking that customer service would be better (mistake #1 - it isn't). On June 18th we sat down with the salesman and ordered our building and plopped down 1/2 the payment. He said that they were really busy and it would probably not get our building up for about 4 weeks. He said that customer service would call in about a week to put us on the schedule. We went ahead and got our slab poured and after TWO weeks still had not heard from customer service. I called the salesman and found out that they had the wrong telephone number for me. So when they couldn't get in touch with me they did... nothing. Even though they had my email they did not contact me (but they were happy to sit on my deposit!). I talked to the owner Mike Winslow, and he went on and on about how busy they were and how great business was and how many new people they had hired and how they didn't know how they could ever keep up with demand. (He also asked about the slab and several things that needed to be done to it before it was poured. Nice to know after the fact, Mike). The one thing he did NOT do is apologize for failing to contact me. He said that someone would contact me to let me know that they had my order and to let me know that someone else would be contacting me to put me on the schedule (in other words, I would be scheduled to be put on the schedule). Last week someone finally called and told me that they had my order (I already knew that) and that someone would be calling in the next couple of weeks to put me on the schedule - which would probably be 2 or 3 weeks after that. So if you are keeping track of the math, IF they are even close to telling me the truth, we MAY have our building up 2 MONTHS after we ordered it. Go with a national company and for goodness sake get a schedule in writing. If anyone ever asks me about the building (if it ever actually gets put up) I will be sure to tell this story and will tell anyone who asks that Winslow is to be avoided at ALL costs.

We had to make them come back to finish our fence and they SPRAY PAINTED the pipe ends. It was so bad we had to go back and repaint them. We withheld $150 from the final payment because he left a pipe sticking out that we asked them to cut. We paid for a solar gate to be installed. The day they "finished" the gate, I had to climb up over the solar powered gate because they closed it and left the openers on the front porch. Darren gave no guidance or explanation as to how the gate worked. 3 weeks later I was leaving for work and the gate wouldn't work, which made me late to work. My husband called and texted him but he never answered or returned his calls. I called him from work. He told me he was not going to come look at the gate because we had withheld $150 (due to him not cutting the pipe and us having to hire someone else to come out and do it). I told him he needed to back his work and product and come look at it and he hung up on me. I texted him and he refuses to come look at the gate. It's disappointing when contractors care so little about the quality of job they do and they can't guarantee their work.
