Dallas Bath and Glass are fantastic…read more 2 years ago, in early 2023, a cleaning service broke one of the glass doors on our shower. We called Dallas Bath and Glass out and they gave us an estimate. The estimator was extremely thorough, and I was impressed with his knowledge and methods compared to competitors. Although their prices were fair (we had 3 estimates done), we had to wait because a short time later a storm did major damage to our roof. Although I decided they were the right company for the job, we had to put our resources to bear on the storm damage; fights with insurance delayed everything. Fast forward to 2025, and even though time had passed my initial impressions brought me back to calling Dallas Bath and Glass out again. The estimator came back out in mid-April and re-did all of the measurements - the original estimate was very similar to the new one and I didn't think there was some crazy gouging of the price or unjustified increases (I did my homework). The price was actually nearly the same. The problem is the door is not standard. It requires some custom work to be done; there is no off the shelf solution. We went ahead with the work. The new glass was built and installed in early June. I could not be happier with the way it came out. The installers were courteous, clean, and provided excellent workmanship. I also want to say that the entire time, communication was fantastic. I was kept informed about timing, and the day of, they were prompt and showed up when they said they would. Thank you, Dallas Bath and Glass, for some great work. Well done!

My wife and I…read morerecently had all of the floors, baseboards replaced along with a new backsplash in our kitchen. I went the typical route and checked with all of the big box stores to get samples and quotes. On the way home from the big box stores we decided to stop by 5 Flooring & Plus showroom located in Lavon. We were immediately greeted by a professional/knowledgeable woman at the front desk along with the owner (J.J.). J.J. was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He has almost 20 years of experience in the flooring and tile industry. He was extremely patient with my wife and I as we were very anxious about such a large project. The biggest difference between talking to J.J. is you are getting an experienced person who has installed all of the products on the showroom and will be able to help you truly pick what is best for your family and budget. My wife was very impressed with how good J.J. was at picking out flooring, tiles and how up to date he was on what was in style now and what looks timeless. After speaking with him for a few minutes I knew we had found our company since we were talking to the flooring expert vs someone who had to take a course to be onboarded into the flooring department of the big box store. We ended up picking waterproof vinyl plank flooring, upgraded baseboards and tile for bathrooms and laundry room. The prices were very competitive and MUCH better than big box stores. We came in at the perfect time since JJ and his crew had just finished another job and were available to start work as soon as possible. The crew showed up on time and every member of the team was nice, professional and respectful. The team moved all of our furniture without any hesitation and treated everything as if it were their own home. They finished our entire home in about 2 days. His tile guys are true artists and made our kitchen look amazing! This is truly a family owned business and I met a few members of J.J.'s family during process and they were all wonderful. There were no surprises when the final invoice came in and J.J. and his team did everything exactly as promised. No more do it yourself projects for me! I will be calling J.J. and his team back for many future jobs and can't recommend them highly enough. Pick this company and I promise you will not regret it at all.
