When I called to tell them they had shorted me, they had me send this photo, which they reaffirmed was indeed 2 cubic yards of dirt. That much dirt if delivered in a block would measure 6 feet tall, 6 feet wide and 6 feet deep. As you can see, the pile they left me with was nowhere close to that large, even factoring in it would not be 6 feet high as the soil would slope down the sides of the pile and make it much larger at the bottom. I sent my landscaper to pick up 2 cubic yards from the same place, and his trailer shows much more than they delivered in their truck (see second photo) Unless you want to be totally ripped off, do not buy from this dishonest company.

Vinyl Industries was significantly lower than any other bid. While I'm not one to just go with the cheapest bid, we were very impressed with the salesman, Ryan, who we felt was thorough and understood what we wanted. He also had excellent communication skills and responded to questions very promptly. When the day came to install the fence the crew showed up on time and took two days to set all of our posts. We were installing about 200' of fence line. I previously used little yard flags to mark all of my sprinkler heads to help the installers know where they are and to protect my sprinkler system. Only one of the heads was in the way and they carefully relocated a few inches away neatly. But the biggest surprise was when they showed up four days earlier than scheduled to finish our fence. They did this so they could start on our neighbors fence the next week. The fence looks amazing and we've received a few compliments from neighbors who also were impressed with the crew.

Also, I kept changing my mind and Lance was able to patiently send a revised estimate. He also helped me figure out what would be best for the property, in terms of preserving our view, gate placements, etc. I went with a 6' aluma-guard (looks like wrought iron) with 3 inch posts. I also finished my neighbor's fence to complete the coverage of my yard. Now I can keep the deer out of my garden, and my dogs in the yard. The deer and the dogs may not like it--but I LOVE it! They were able to get me on the schedule quickly because I began the process before spring--and the project was completed on budget. Thank you Stonehenge Fence! I chose them because the salesman was great and they came in about $1k under the other bids, and that $1k has easily been the most expensive thousand I've ever saved. The crew they sent clearly didn't know the product. Stuff was installed wrong, and they came out three separate times now trying to fix it. To be fair they did fix some of it, but it's still not even close to par with what I spent on the fence. There were many things they tried to get away with installing incorrectly and then came back to fix when asked but the one thing I really can't get over is the panel color differences. They installed panels that had color mis-matches, some are black some are gray, and it's not one bad section, it's all over the whole entire fence. Their answer was basically that it's a manufacturer thing, and the manufacturer won't do anything about it either. So I'm just stuck with it. Photos attached, judge for yourself. For what this cost it should not look like this. Please, if you are considering Stonehenge go with somebody else, it will potentially save you a lot of money, time and hassle in the long run.
