My boyfriend and his Dad wanted to do most of the work themselves, but only have a basic understanding of electrical. After running into some issues (surprise, surprise) we called N2 Electric and Nick was able to come out the same day to give us an estimate. He also gave my boyfriend and his Dad some tips on doing the rest of the electrical themselves, which was supposedly "easy". Nick fixed our original issue, found and fixed some safety hazards, and also rewired our electrical panel and breakers so that it was up to code. He even came out a second time to finish work that my boyfriend was not able to complete on time. When the Livermore building inspector came out to inspect the electrical as part of our permit, we passed with flying colors. He asked who completed the work and he knew of Nick, referring to him as one of the "good guys". I couldn't agree more. If you are looking for a good electrician, skip everyone else and call N2 Electric. You will not be disappointed. Nick is very skilled at what he does, has an amazing work ethic, and is also the nicest, most helpful person I have met in a while. I cannot thank them enough for everything he has helped us with!

They are professional, timely and the communication was off the chart. Anyhow, need a good electrician or electrical provider - don't look anywhere else.

I have called several plumbers and all of them suggested me to replace it with a new one and one of them quoted me $4000 for the job. Since the water heater is still under warranty, I'm reluctant to replace it. I then called AO Smith warranty line and they gave me an L* number and a plumber's number, AMOR Plumbing. I called them and the lady who answered the phone was politely saying that she will let the technician know and the technician will call me back which I didn't receive it in weeks. I then called another plumber listed on AO Smith website: Wellman Plumbing. They said they don't know what the problem would be and they don't have an available schedule in weeks. Lastly, I called Performance Plus Plumbing. And they answered my call very politely and professionally. They understood my problem immediately and notified me that there are 2 different recall on AO Smith and one of them is the burner unit and that could be my root problem. We scheduled 2 days later for a visit. However, they called back the next day saying the parts need to be ordered and it won't be delivered in another 2 days. So I waited. This morning (one weekend after the originally scheduled visit) they called and they were onsite in an hour. Done and left in 30 minutes. They also showed me the defected burner module. Very efficient. Very impressive. And the cost of this, $0. I will definitely call them for all of my plumbing needs.

We were in contact with a Sylvia Cromwell who we spoke to regarding a water heater that stopped working. They had installed a new water heater back in 2021 so naturally we called them to troubleshoot. After one phone call, Sylvia just said that it's better to replace the water heater and immediately sent an email asking for payment information. (We have all the email communication including her prompting a payment link). One would think that they would send one of their technicians to diagnose the situation. But of course, instead of serving the best interest of the customer she was just pushing to spend thousands of dollars to replace the existing water heater that was just installed in 2021. Fortunately, we had PG&E connection and their technician came the very next day and figured out the cause of the problem within 5 minutes. Turned out that they found that the earthquake sensor had just turned off the gas so he restored it. What could have been several thousands of dollars on another new water heater, PG&E solved within minutes. PLEASE be aware of this company before they make you pay without troubleshooting first! BTW, looks like by another previous review that this has happened before.

I had already sent South County a copy of the inspection, which they not only went through, but completed their own inspection and confirmed all of the initial problems. They installed new lighting, corrected socket wiring, wired in some new sockets, installed recessed lighting and trim, installed new plate covers, wired in a bathroom fan, fixed the outdoor lighting, and I'm sure some other things I'm forgetting. The owner and his brother came and completed the work. They worked tirelessly for the day and got everything completed in one day for what I thought was surely going to be a two day job. South County was efficient, the price was right, and the quality was phenominal. They went through the house and left all the screws in the panels so the screw heads were in line vertically. The charges they added to invoice were ridiculous. Who charges for overhead. Extra drive time. The parts beside the charger which is being paid for federal government, were less than $100. Install time under 2 hours. Customer service also sucks. It was pretty much take it or leave it attitude. No negotiation. Very slow in processing requests. And I almost felt like they were doing me a favor. Not sure why and who selected these guys. Thank God I am done with the charger. At least the charger works okay, hence 2 stars.

While talking to him, I could clearly make out he is out to fleece me! Now with EV charger, these guys are tied into a government run program called Ecotality. Ecotality does not give you a choice of the vendor. Anyways, over the course of next 3.5 weeks, I called them multiple times to get a quote, but the only answer I always got was that they have not reviewed my file yet. The ecotality program ends on Mar 15. Today they told me that they cannot take on my work. Because of their lameness I stand to loose $2700 from the federal program. Ecotality won't allow me to use any other vendor, so I guess my hands are tied. If they were so busy, they should not have picked my file and let it go to another vendor. I hope after they have done fleecing money from consumers from the federal program, they close down!
