As I learned, the first step in dealing with the issue was finding a company for remediation services, and the plumbers I contacted recommended ServPlus to do the work. They even happened to have someone in the area the day I called, so I quickly got a quote and was able to arrange a time for them to come out and do the work. I would like to give a special thanks to the team who showed up - Christian, Chase and Ian. They were on time, kept me updated about what was going on, and answered all my questions. I am very happy with my experience with ServPlus.

**Absolutely amazing!**…read more Riley Reed, I just have to say thank you, thank you, thank you! The floors look absolutely amazing. The guys were so thorough and did such an incredible job. My husband even pointed out things they fixed that the other company definitely did not like tacking down boards that had been causing squeaking. We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. After two years, being able to finally unpack and enjoy our space is going to be so wonderful, especially with the holidays right around the corner. We were so impressed with their work that we plan to hire the same company to continue the flooring through our living room and dining room. Thank you again for doing such a beautiful, thorough job. In the process of selling our home, the inspector had noted "possible bio-organic growth" in attic…read more I knew there was no way this was possible, as I am up in the attic very regularly, and it is in very good shape up there (the roof is also newer as well). To satisfy the buyer however, I had an inspection done by ServPro so that they could write something up for me to give the buyer saying that it had been addressed and that there was no mold. The technician who came out was a very friendly, nice guy. He explained to me that what he saw in the attic was nothing more than discoloration of the wood, and there was definitely no mold. He told me they see this all the time in Oregon, and it's not a very big deal, but inspectors have to list it as "possible growth" just to cover themselves from potential lawsuits. He told me they would treat it with something (though he didn't mention what), take photos of it, and write-up a report to give to the buyers. He was out here for probably 30-45 minutes, including the time it took him to do his thing in the attic. The cost for all this? $500. Truth be told, I'd be leaving 5-stars if it wasn't for the cost. I personally would have expected something like this to cost around $300. I figure his time is probably worth $100-$150 an hour (including driving to my house), plus spraying the product, and writing up the report. So I do feel the price was greatly inflated as they know that in my position as the seller, I really have no other choice but to satisfy the buyer. That being said, if it wasn't for the outrageous price for 30-45 minutes of his time, I would be leaving 5-stars. However, I'm going to leave 3-stars because of this. I have no issues with this company as they were all very friendly, responsive, and polite. I just think that $500 is a bit of "price gouging" for something so simple. I would have had no problem doing this myself, I'm just not an official company, so I couldn't give my buyer a nice letterhead saying there was no mold. In summary: Fantastic company, friendly and punctual employees, but drastically inflated prices.

Rainbow restoration has been a nightmare, as if the sewage back up wasn't enough! We are now two…read moremonths out from when our insurance company had Rainbow come to survey the damage and we are supposedly ( if they show up) going to be finished with the company today. It has been total lack of communication and then blaming me for not knowing what is happening when they have not even tried to communicate. We still have a disposed of vanity sitting in the garage so my car can't get in at night, and now they say it will be the problem of the construction company if and when the restoration can ever start. I am not one to write nasty stuff and try to employ local people, but this has been a disaster.

They were, and are fabulous, so of course I called them again. The owner called me within 3 minutes of sending a request for help! He showed up the next morning with another employee who assisted by immediately getting in the crawl space to check on the foundation and moisture barrier. Meanwhile, the owner assessed the problem, checked all the other down spouts around the house, and talked my son through taking the drain pipe down, a neat trick to assess bolt sizes, and how to counter the problem for the future. All the while offering calming comments and assorted helpful hints. Really, Duane, the owner, all employees and sub-contractors have been professional, congenial, diligent workers, and produce the results we have asked for. Great consistency. We are sharing our experience regarding emergency roof mitigation services performed on December…read more19. After discovering an active roof leak, we contacted ServePro after hours. We were clearly told the emergency mitigation service would cost $1,200, and we approved the work based on that representation. ServePro dispatched Legacy Construction & Restoration LLC as their subcontractor. Legacy's representative verbally confirmed multiple times (in person and over the phone) that the total cost would be $1,200 to install a tarp and stop the leak temporarily. However, we were later presented with an invoice of approximately $3,200, which was never authorized or disclosed to us. No revised estimate or change order was provided. This is purely unethical and unprofessional. Additionally, our HOA later informed us that the mitigation work allegedly caused additional roof damage (including cutting into roofing material and improper tarp installation), resulting in a $350 charge assessed to us as homeowners. Despite multiple attempts to contact Legacy directly to resolve this matter, we have not received a response. We are willing to resolve this fairly and have offered payment consistent with the originally agreed amount (minus the HOA charge caused by the mitigation damage). We believe in honoring agreed terms, but we also expect contractors to do the same. We are documenting this experience so other homeowners understand the importance of: * Getting written estimates before work begins * Confirming subcontractor responsibilities * Ensuring change orders are documented * Verifying scope and pricing in writing We remain open to resolving this matter amicably.

We had a rickety rail on one side that was removed when we had the sliding glass back door replaced. I've included the before pictures of what we had. Scary, aren't they? In less than two days, Francisco removed the old ones and replaced them with new steps with solid heavy-duty railings. The new steps, with their shorter risers, are much safer and easier for the less steady among us. One of the most gratifying things was how well Francisco listened when we explained what we needed an turned it into a reality. Husband said that the steps were exactly what he was thinking.
