So not to be one who totally bombed out of chemistry, I really did pretty well because I dug it, I embarked on a quest for knowledge. I started with the article searches and read lots of DIY pieces, then moved in to white papers as my understanding increased but then, of course, I ended up at YouTube and dove into the plethora of highly subjective and often suspect videos of the nerdy to off the hook eccentric whackadoodles who love to watch themselves and enjoy the sound of their voices, oh what fun. Funny thing while immersing myself in the world of vape chemistry I kept seeing references to one specific company, especially in forums, and hence thought it might be a good idea to check these folks out. Lo & behold I discovered I could have saved myself a lot of time & energy, and spared a few lost brain cells on YouTube, if I had just looked up Liquid Nicotine Wholesalers first. They have a VERY comprehensive website that has a plethora of information, guides, tutorials and several, both online & physical, calculators available. So now that I've filled my head with lots of cool new ideas, and think I will be able to pull this off with a much greater confidence, I have placed an order for a couple of things I missed on my solo effort and Teresa is walking it back to make sure it shops today (even though it's past the cutoff for Friday afternoon). Alex (owner) was incredible to work with. He came out to our property and did a full evaluation. He caught things that no one else did. One thing that stood out to me was his transparency and honesty around the setup of our systems. We have old suction lines and liquid lines that are not compatible with the new Trane units. He has a solution for that but he was the only one that mentioned this. Some of the other installers that I inquired from also quoted us on the exact same Trane unit and failed to bring this up. In fact, the other companies were going to install a Trane unit on old lines, which would cause early compressor failure and voided the warranty through Trane due to the units being installed on the wrong sized lines in the first place (verified this with Trane). Alex was patient with me through all of my questions, provided examples of what it would look like to replace the lines, and was amazing to work with. Even though we ended up going with a company that made units compatible with our old lines, I am forever grateful to Alex and Ideal Air Conditioning for saving us from dumping a bunch of money to potentially have a premature failure down the road. If replacing the lines was not mandatory, we would have chosen Ideal Air Conditioning in a heartbeat. We plan to use them in the future for all of our HVAC maintenance!
