My dog decided to go on a hunger strike while we were gone, and the staff texted me asking me if there was anything they could add to his food or any other options like pumpkin or yogurt they could give him to make sure he ate. When he continued to refuse food but was otherwise doing okay, they let a friend of mine stop by and visit him and bring chicken for them to add to his food. The chicken was a success. They kept in touch by text the whole time, and this gave me peace of mind while I was 2k miles away. Also, when my flight was delayed 7 hours, they accomodated him for an additional night I hadn't booked. I have boarded at other places and I haven't had any other place pay this close attention to my dog and how he was doing. (And now I know when I board him to send chicken! :) )

She did exactly what I asked her to do for the week - walk them every morning for a mile and come home and put them in their kennels for the day. One of my girls snuck out the front door as soon as she opened it one morning and she ran away. Nikki didn't skip a beat to go after her and make sure she was safe at home before going on with her day. I felt totally at peace with Nikki watching my dogs for the week while I was out of town.
