These guys jacked my driveway for a reasonable price. Did the work on the day planned and did a good job.

It looks like a ramp with pieces of wood sticking out all around the edges. I tried contacting him many times and never heard from him again. He will also ask for more money after starting the project. Sketchy business 100% I strongly believe he is using someone else's business front to do business.

Communication, execution, follow through, etc. I found Pro Quality Concrete on Nextdoor as a highly recommended contractor for patio work. My husband and I were looking to extend our slab patio in the backyard and so I shot an email to Tyler at the email address listed. I will say that I'm not certain Pro Quality Concrete is even the real name of his business because the quote he sent me came on a letterhead with 'Decorative Concrete Concepts' listed as the company. The communication in the first few days was fantastic; Tyler got back to me promptly and scheduled the work to be done. After his first visit to assess the backyard and get our deposit in cash, the quality started slipping. It took countless unanswered texts and calls from myself and my husband to finally get a clear answer on how long the job would take, how long the forms would be in tact, when he would be coming back to clean up after it was poured, and when he was coming to collect all of the debris and tools he left in our backyard. The actual pouring of concrete happened on June 7th and after promises that he would be back the next day to clean up, my husband finally went out there and took the forms down himself. Tyler did stop by one afternoon and piled all of his tools and wood forms on the side of our house, as if he would return to collect them. On June 15th Tyler apologized for leaving the tools in our yard and said he would be there to get them later that day. Shockingly, that never happened. On July 11th (over a month after the patio was poured and he had been fully paid) I finally texted him telling him his tools would be at the end of our driveway for him to pick up or else they'd go out with the trash. He did finally come by and pick them up without responding to me. 2 stars for actually extending the patio, but the trouble was not worth it!

It has been about a year since we used Level Mudjacking, and so far so good. We also recommended…read morethem to a friend...and as far as we know they haven't had any issues, either. I'm not going to lie, we chose them based on price since they were the lowest of 3 estimates we got, but I have no regrets. And if we moved, I'd consider using they again. We had part of our driveway, void under our garage, and front walkway done. I believe it was the owner that came out and did the estimate, and I also liked that he seemed to be honest with expectations vs. trying to sell promises that would be hard to deliver (ex: stated that filling the void under the garage where the floor was sagging would prevent it from getting worse, but the floor wouldn't likely be able to come all the way back up to original position since rebar in it has likely bent over time. Likewise, since our driveway had sunk about 4" where it meets the house he said it would likely come back up most of the way, but trying to come back up all the way could risk cracking the slab...I'd say it did come back up at least 3+" so a very significant improvement.) Our front walk and step also came back up a surprising amount. Seems like a small operation vs. big business...which has pros/cons. If there is state of the art equipment for mudjacking they might not have it, but based on our results I think the savings were worth it. While the owner wasn't the one doing the work, he talked very highly of the kid he had on staff and he stopped by multiple times during the day.

Hunter drew up the plans based on our specs on his iPad. We were able to select the materials, colors and the full plan. There was also an agreement drawn up that protected both us and his company. This was a great way to build trust and peace of mind that the project would be completed on time. We also needed a gate added to our chain link fence on one side of the House. I wanted a double gate, and I wanted to use some of the materials that I already had from a previous project. Hunter drew up the plans for the gate, and the price was much less than we expected. We were very impressed that we wouldn't have to wait until next year for these projects to be completed, as most contractors were booked out that far. We are extremely satisfied with the way everything turned out. We use our deck every day, and our dog loves sitting in bed and looking out the sliding door to see what's going on. Now we can just let her out the door instead of walking across the length of the house to let her out to do her business. Both Hunter and his crew were extremely professional. They always cleaned up after themselves every day they were here. The work was done with care and attention to detail. The deck is sturdy, attractive and we've gotten many compliments from friends and neighbors! I will definitely continue to work with Boyt Home Improvement for future projects - and I'll recommend them to anyone needing projects completed around the house.
