She was so kind and personable, and knowledgeable about all of the beds. She helped us save money on a cooling Columbia pillow that I added to our order, and even got our bed delivered to us the next day since we were in dire need of a bed! The 4th of July sale was going on, so we got $200 off of our mattress price, and they gave us a free rising base so we can sit up in bed and watch TV! (I think she said it normally cost $599 for the base, but they were giving them out for free with all bed purchases). My son now wants a new twin mattress because apparently he's getting a backache from the dip in his bed (he's 19...., but okay...) ;) I'll be browsing Mattress Firm's twin mattresses today to see if we can find him one there since we had such a good experience.

But for the prices, you might be better off going to Darwin Furniture or Ashley if you're looking for more modern pieces that haven't had as much wear. It's definitely a dump.

Clearly, if my back is having issue an I have been sleeping only on this mattress the mattress has a big dent that means the mattress needs to be exchange. I expect better costumer service from American Mattress. Not only have you not sent anyone to see how bad this mattress has gotten but presume it's only less than one inch when it is more. There's always something interesting in their collection, which at any time has handmade, vintage, collectible, and other unique items alongside more conventional ones. The more desirable vintage and antique items won't be cheap, but they'll be cheaper than at a curated vintage or antique furniture shop. Jubilee isn't a thrift store, and in some cases their prices can be a bit high. Everything is final sale, so there's an element of "buyer beware," like most resale shops. They put the brand name on the price tag if it's a selling point, but not so much for cheaper brands. Once I purchased an item here, and when I got home I found the label and saw it was made in China by a low-end furniture company. I never would have paid as much had I known, so I felt a bit duped. However I still wound up going back as I never found as much furniture I liked anywhere else. And for what it's worth, the item has held up. Most of their service is provided by volunteers, who are nice, but some are more knowledgeable than others. To sum up, it's not perfect, but in a retail landscape where most new furniture is either flimsy "manufactured wood" or ultra-expensive high end brands, Jubilee helps fill an important gap for affordable quality furniture.

You wait 2 months for parts shipped to your home wait 3 more weeks to get an appointment for the repairman to come out. To be told they sent the wrong part!!!!!!! Now they say 12 weeks to get the new part. Over 6 month before they can install the controller. In the meantime you cant use the recliner that is stuck in the open position.
